Examining the Prevalence and Impact of Physical Violence from a Psychological Perspective

    Get PDF
Physical violence within marriages are pervasive issues that affect individuals globally, including in India. This essay examines the prevalence and impact of physical and sensual violence in India from a psychological perspective. The underreporting and stigmatization of these forms of violence pose significant challenges in understanding their true extent. Factors such as power imbalances, gender inequality, and cultural norms contribute to their perpetuation. The psychological consequences experienced by survivors include trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety, emotional distress, sexual dysfunction, substance abuse, and self-harm. Additionally, the cycle of violence and revictimization further compounds the psychological impact. Addressing this issue requires legal reforms, raising awareness, promoting education, challenging cultural norms, providing support services, and ensuring accessible mental health support. By addressing the cultural, legal, and psychological dimensions, it is possible to create a society that is free from physical violence and supports survivors in their journey towards healing and empowerment

    Get PDF
This study aimed to assess trait meta mood and resilience among adolescents and evaluate the effectiveness of an intervention program targeting low trait meta mood on resilience. A sample of 300 adolescents (161 males and 139 females) aged 15-17 years participated in the study. Trait meta mood and resilience were measured using the Trait Meta Mood Scale (TMMS) and the Resilience Scale, respectively. The results showed a significant gender difference in attention to feelings, with boys scoring higher than girls. However, no significant gender differences were found in clarity of feelings, mood repair, and total mood. There was a positive correlation between trait meta mood and resilience, indicating that higher levels of trait meta mood were associated with higher levels of resilience. The intervention program targeting low trait meta mood significantly increased participants\u27 resilience scores, suggesting its effectiveness in enhancing resilience among adolescents. These findings emphasize the importance of trait meta mood and its relationship with resilience in adolescents and highlight the potential benefits of intervention programs in promoting resilience among individuals facing challenges and adversity

Introduction The Covid 19 pandemic is a current universal health emergency. negative acute phase reactant proven an association of hypoalbuminemia with inflammatory in the infectious diseases. Objectives: The study was conducted to examine the variations of serum albumin levels in Covid 19 patients. A cross-sectional study with total on fixed cases of Covid 19 pandemic in Karbala city in AL-Hussein hospital from 1 June 2021 to 12 September 2021.Methods: Serum albumin levels, Liver function tests and hematocrit were review to estimate its link with disease evolution in Covid 19 patients. There were fifty-five Covid 19 patients and twenty healthy people in total. When compared to normal healthy persons, the levels of serum albumin, ALT, AST, urea, S. creatine, CRP, and hematocrit in Covid 19 patients were considerably different, and the levels of albumin were even lower. Results: Lymphocytes showed a reduction. However, the clinical markers of the increase are unremarkable. Extremely common of severe Covid patients showed a significant decrease in albumin value as well as a continuous decrease in infection growth. A positive correlation has been found between albumin and CRP, platelets, and urea levels. (r = +0.969, r = +0.2.06 and r= 0.971 respectively; P < 0.0001). Conclusions: The observation revealed that have lower serum albumin values, While the explanation for this interaction needs to be investigated further, measuring blood albumin levels could be a useful technique for identifying people who are at a greater risk of mortality

Artificial intelligence (AI) is flourishing in the environment of the digital era, and its integration into economic life is a natural and unavoidable trend for the future of society. The promotion of technology and science is also crucial to students\u27 academic development. The development of AI has entered a stage of extraordinary rapid expansion, altering every facet of human existence. The state required a thorough curriculum, but there is no mention of how to arrive at Artificial Intelligence + Curriculum. Artificial intelligence (AI) technology has created computational tools for performing a variety of tasks, modeling the clever approach to problem-solving employed by humans. One of the most promising areas for the use of AI technology is in the area of SEN education. The widespread adoption of AI has disrupted long-established approaches to education. In recent years, artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as one of the most widely used technical tools in special education due to its ability to improve the transmission of knowledge and the long-term retention and transferability of newly acquired abilities. Researchers and practitioners both gain valuable insight by being aware of the state of and trends in their respective fields. Intelligent tutoring systems (ITS), smart learning (SL), and social robots (SR) all owe a great deal to AI. AI is having a positive effect on educators by easing their burden and boosting special education students\u27 access to relevant information. Naturally, there aren\u27t many educators who don\u27t see AI as having at least some bearing on their own professional growth. The value of AI is not lost on educators. Almost six in ten educators (60.9%) believe AI is useful for their own professional growth as educators. Therefore, active research and education on artificial intelligence exemplifies the cultivation of lifelong learning ability, the development of rich teaching skills, the accumulation of experience, the enhancement and pruning of appropriate change programs, and the promotion of the rapid growth of higher education in the context of artificial intelligence
