    No full text
Nowadays, information is considered a new capital of organizations as it is considered the basis of decisions made by the pilot committee, incorrect or incomplete information can cause significant losses. In the field of higher education, the emergence of new technologies and the increase of devices and connected users have allowed the creation of new data sources such as software packages, platforms, and social networks. Faced with this amount of information called big data, databases began to show their inability to manage and process this flow, leading to a new data storage technology called data warehousing that has allowed for many years, efficient handling of structured data sources. The need to manage semi-structured and unstructured data types has necessitated the use of new solutions such as data lakes to meet the new challenges imposed. As a new technology, the data lake is still equivocal, due to the incomplete or complicated presentation. For that matter, we will present a comparison between data warehouse and data lake, and discuss big data as well as data lakes as a new data management technology in higher education by presenting its essential components principally the data pipeline rarely cited in the literature. For this reason, a comparative study has been conducted to evaluate the existing data pipeline solutions and propose more valuable ones. In addition, we will introduce the university\u27s data lake ecosystem to disambiguate the data lake concept and its essential components

Transformation Of Hindu Marriage From Sacrament To Agreement

    No full text
Marriage is considered as an indissoluble union between two souls to remain with each other forever under Hindu jurisprudence. It is also considered as a social institution as because it is a union of two families. As per Hindu law, marriage is a sacrament as well as it is a civil contract. Before Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 the nature of marriage was almost sacramental, however the codified Act and it’s time to time amendments has given a revolutionary perspective in the concept of marriage which was in vogue before the codification. The traditional Hindu marriage was a sea of diverse rituals. But after enactment of the Act some conditions are given more importance than religious rituals. Considerably during the few decades with the pronouncement of landmark judgments by the Supreme Court as well as various High Courts, and initiative taken by human rights organizations and women bodies has afforded to think marriage as an agreement more than sacrament. The acceptance of living relationship and growing instances of divorce cases by the members of the society also pushed to rethink over the nature of marriage before Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 and aftermath of it in recent era of globalization. The present paper will focus on marriage as a sacrament and marriage as a contract and the effect of rituals and registration of marriage among Hindu people

The study evidenced that majority of the respondents (52.7%) were below 40 years of age.    Majority of the respondents (63.9%) had a work experience of more than 10 years in construction industry, majority of the respondents (58.4%) were labours and majority of the contract workers in construction industry were working more than the normal working hours (8 hours).  Material and equipment used in the construction industry was found to be the most severe factor that influenced on the contract workers’ health and ‘lack of safety measures’ was found to be the least severe factor. Age, nature of work and working hours of the contract workers had significant relationship with the factor of ‘work related factors’.  Awareness level, age and nature of work had significant relationship with the factor of ‘material and equipment’. Awareness level, experience in construction work and nature of work had significant relationship with the factor of ‘work environment.  Awareness level, age and experience of contract workers had significant relationship with the factor of ‘lack of safety measures’ and nature of work and working hours had significant relationship with psychological factors

A Homeopathic Perspective Miasmatic Approach In Case Of Diabetes Mellitus Type 2

    No full text
Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is a chronic metabolic disorder marked by hyperglycemia due to insulin resistance or impaired insulin secretion. Modern medicine primarily addresses T2DM through lifestyle management and pharmacotherapy. However, alternative and complementary medicine, particularly homeopathy, offers unique frameworks for understanding and managing T2DM. This article explores the miasmatic approach to T2DM, which interprets the condition through the lens of chronic miasms—an underlying predisposition to certain diseases. This review provides an introduction to the miasmatic concept, evaluates current research on the homeopathic miasmatic approach to T2DM, and discusses the potential for miasmatic analysis as an adjunct to conventional care

    No full text
Innovative series of 1, 4, 5 triphenyl substituted pyrrole derivatives have been synthesized using environment friendly procedure and evaluated for their antimicrobial activity. Neat reaction on microwave irradiation resulted in enhancement of yields and reaction rates. Pyrrole derivatives are more potent and possesses less side effects. Benzoin and primary aromatic amine refluxing in ethanol resulted in the formation of α- aminoketone intermediates, that are condensed without isolation with malononitrile to yield various 2-amino-4, 5- diphenyl-1-substituted-1H-pyrrole-3-carbonitriles (1). Pyrrole (1) further reacted with triethyl orthoformate and alcoholic sodium hydroxide gives respective pyrrole derivatives (1a- 1b). The synthesized compound were confirmed through spectral characterization using IR (JASCO 4100-FT/IR), Mass (QP 2013 Shimadzu) and H1 NMR. Result indicate that microwave method is more eco-friendly than conventional method and compound shows promising antimicrobial activity

Background: Maternal anemia, characterized by a deficiency of iron or other essential nutrients during gestation, can yield extensive repercussions for both the prospective mother and the developing fetus. Cord blood hemoglobin, which reflects the baby\u27s blood health at birth, is a vital indicator. Therefore, the goal of the study was to assess the impact of maternal anemia on cord blood hemoglobin. Methods:  This observational study was conducted in the Department of Pediatrics at a tertiary healthcare center on the basis of inclusion and exclusion criteria. A total of 71 pregnant women and their infants were selected. Cord blood samples were collected immediately after delivery in the labor room and preserved in EDTA (ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) for analysis. This present study involved comparison of the mean cord blood hemoglobin of new-born born to anemic mothers with varying degrees of anemia (mild, moderate, and severe). Furthermore, we investigate the association between cord blood hemoglobin levels and maternal anemia. Results: Out of 71 pregnant women, 33 (46.4%) had mild anemia, 31 (43.7%) had moderate anemia, and 7 (9.9%) had severe anemia. The mean maternal hemoglobin among anemic mother was 10.39 g/dl for mild anemia, 8.62 g/ for moderate anemia and 6 g/dl severe anemia. Maternal anemia severity was associated with adverse hematological outcomes in newborns, as indicated by decreasing trends in mean cord blood hemoglobin levels (8.73 g/dl for mild, 8.76 g/dl for moderate, and 7 g/dl for severe anemia), as well as declining MCV, MCH, and MCHC values respectively, with significant p-value which was 0.0001 this represents positive correlation with maternal anemia and cord blood hemoglobin. Conclusion: A moderate positive correlation was observed between maternal anemia and the hemoglobin levels in the cord blood of neonates. Babies born to anemic mothers exhibited lower cord blood hemoglobin levels. The present study demonstrates a linear association between maternal hemoglobin levels and fetal hemoglobin levels
