Should early educational programs for children with ASD be adapted in the M.E.N.A. cultures?

    No full text
On one hand, environments these days have a great number of successful educational programs for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD); knowing them is of great importance for parents to be highlighted in their parental choices. On the other hand, cultural or own parental beliefs and wishes linked to child education are recommended to be considered in most programs, due to their influence on parental educational practices and the good appliance of the programs’ principles at home.   However, this article addresses an uncommon question: due to their culture, to what extent do these programs accommodate the peculiar requirements of children with ASD in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region? Namely, educational cultural differences have been found in parental style and care. This article tries to analyze the adequacy of existing programs with the cultural educative preferences of the MENA region. In order to ensure inclusion of ASD children and maximize the impact of programs, we would like to know if culturally grounded changes are required to ensure that such programs are feasible and practical for children with ASD in the MENA region? The article discusses the risk of cultural barriers that could make the implementation of these programs unsuccessful in the MENA region, such as the coordination of care

The study is divided into two sections: a theoretical section that explains the mechanism of accounting and tax treatment of profit taxes in Algeria and outlines what IAS 12 stipulates in this regard; and an applied section consisting of personal interviews with employees of the accounting and management department of the cement industry in Sétif, as well as several interviews with specialists from outside the institution (accountants, auditors, accounting professors). The study reached several conclusions, the most important of which is that it is essential for Algerian legislators to mandate institutions to apply deferred tax as stipulated by IAS 12 to achieve this alignment. Additionally, there is a need to establish tax incentives to encourage Algerian institutions to comply with its implementation

    No full text
This qualitative study synthesizes insights from seven previously selected empirical studies to deepen our understanding of Impulsive Personality Disorder (PD). By meticulously analysing data from these studies, which include in-depth interviews, focus groups, and observational research, we aim to construct a comprehensive picture of the lived experiences of individuals with Impulsive PD. The research focuses on the themes of impulsivity, emotional dysregulation, and interpersonal challenges, as reported by those directly affected. This analysis not only reflects the subjective realities of individuals with Impulsive PD but also examines the broader social and relational contexts in which these individuals operate. The study’s primary objective is to provide a rich, nuanced perspective on Impulsive PD, drawing attention to the often-overlooked individual narratives and experiences. The findings are intended to challenge existing paradigms and contribute to the development of more empathetic and effective intervention strategies, tailored to the unique experiences and needs of individuals living with this complex disorder. &nbsp

    No full text
Background: Inadequacies in wound treatment could lead to complications. Black seed oil (BSO) alone has antimicrobial and antioxidant properties. Ozone is known for its potential to improve the wound healing process through the reactive oxygen species (ROS) mechanism. However, the studies of ozonated black seed oil (OBSO) on wound healing are limited. Objectives: To determine the effects of OBSO in full-thickness skin defect on the dorsal of Sprague Dawley (SD) rats, specifically on wound closure rate, epithelization, number of fibroblasts, and collagen distribution. Methods: Full-thickness skin defect (10 mm) was created on dorsal of 60 SD rats that were divided into six groups: gentamycin, normal saline, BSO, OBSO at varied doses of 1.4, 1.8, and 2.2 g/dl (n=10). Half of the population in each group were terminated after three days of treatment, while the remain subjects were terminated after seven days. The wound area was measured with ImageJ computerized application and the skin tissue was excised for histopathological examination with HE and Van Giesson staining. Results: The statistical analysis showed no significant differences in the wound area, reepithelization, and distribution of collagen after 3 and 7 days of treatment (p > 0.05), while there was a significant difference (p < 0.05) for the number of fibroblasts in the 3 and 7 days of treatment. Conclusion: The application of OBSO gave no significant difference in enhancing wound healing compared to the control group after 3 and 7 days of treatment

The Philosophy of Liberation in the Thought of the Algerian National Movement and Liberation Revolution, 1919-1962

The Algerian people struggled under the banner of their leaders through different stages in the military, political, intellectual and social fields, and the secret behind this was the ideas behind these historical events, whether in the course of the Algerian national movement or the blessed Algerian liberation revolution. From this perspective, every revolution is the offspring of an idea, which means that there is no revolution without a revolutionary theory and its conceptualisation. This shows the deep connection in every revolutionary project between thought and reality, through the embodied work and effort to realise the idea and complete its stages. Therefore, the Algerian revolution, and before it the national movement, was a clash and a struggle between minds, ideas and wills. We will try to show that the national idea and the revolutionary philosophy inherent in it have been present in the thoughts and consciousness of the Algerian people since the French colonial presence and remained so until the outbreak of the liberation revolution. These ideas, hopes and aspirations were embodied by the Algerian people under the collective leadership of individuals and personalities who were the vanguard of this people
