Experimental Study To Assess The Effectiveness Of Nurse Led Mentoring Using Quality Improvement Methodology For Health Care Workers In Improving Maternal And Neonatal Outcomes At Selected Hospitals In Delhi.
Background: In the delivery room, immediate infant care techniques including skin-to-skin contact (SSC) and early breastfeeding initiation (EBFI) offer several advantages, including improved survival. The techniques have not been extensively embraced despite the evidence. Through a series of plan-do-study-act (PDSA) cycles, we employed a point-of-care quality improvement (QI) to adopt and maintain these two immediate infant care procedures in our delivery room over a period of two years.
Aims: The aim of the study was to assess the effectiveness of Nurse Led Mentoring using Quality improvement methodology for health care workers in improving maternal and neonatal outcomes at selected tertiary care hospitals in Delhi.
Maternal outcome: It refers to initiation of breast feeding in first hour after delivery with no or minimum complication of third stage of labor.
Neonatal outcome: It refers to skin-to-skin touch of mother and receiving breast feeding within first hour of delivery.
Methodology: A root cause analysis was conducted by a group of obstetricians, nurses and nursing students to determine the potential causes of an increase in early initiation of breastfeeding (EIBF). The areas of improvement in delivering maternal and neonatal care were assessed by using standard tool NQAS (National Quality Assurance Standard. The group made use of fish bone analysis and process flow mapping. In order to enhance the current data, several modifications could be implemented via successive Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) cycles.
Results: A total 10 numbers of nurses participated in this QI study, which conducted from November 2021 to May 2022. Over the course of the study, SSC significantly increased from a baseline of 0% to 68% and EIBF from a baseline of 38% to 82%. This study discovered a 44% major gap closure in EIBF and 68% in SSC.
Conclusion: The Nurse Led Intervention\u27s effectiveness in enhancing maternal and newborn outcomes has thus been shown. Making skin-to-skin contact with newborns shortly after delivery and EIBF as a part of pre-natal preparation and recording by a QI project might be continued without the need for any extra resources

Career Growth Of Women In Organsation
Women\u27s professional development is essential to workplace diversity and success. Despite workplace gender equality progress, women still confront several career difficulties. Women are underrepresented in leadership positions due to gender bias, restricted mentorship and sponsorship possibilities, work-life balance challenges, and systemic hurdles, according to research. Organizations must adopt gender equality and women\u27s career growth plans to overcome these issues. This includes creating diverse, inclusive workplaces, giving targeted training and development, flexible work arrangements, and aggressively addressing unconscious biases in recruiting, promotion, and performance evaluation. Formal mentorship and sponsorship programs can also help women employees improve professionally by providing direction, support, and networks. Organizations may boost diversity and inclusion and unleash their talent pool, generating innovation, creativity, and long-term business performance, by prioritizing women\u27s career development
Political Participation and Dalit Women\u27s Leadership in Karnataka: Analysis of 1952–2023 Election Results
The first election in Karnataka state was held on March 26, 1952, when Karnataka was known as Mysore state. It was renamed Karnataka in 1973. The Mysore Representative Assembly was established in 1881 by Maharaja Chamaraja Wodeyar, the first in India. When we look at the politics of Karnataka, the most important thing we know is that from 1952 to 2023, leaders of dominant castes have been the Chief Ministers of the state, and when we analyze the statistics of participation of women in the legislative assembly, it is very low and shows a patriarchal system. And the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals address women\u27s gender equality and women\u27s empowerment. Especially in India, the participation of women is low compared to other countries, and Karnataka is no exception; thus, it is against the basic concept of democracy. Especially among women, the status of lower caste women is very low in terms of political participation, even compared to upper caste women. What is the reason for this gap? Is it because of the provision of reservation in the constitution to facilitate their political participation or because of male or other female leadership in politics? The main purpose of this article is to inform. Also, from the beginning, from 1952 to 2023, who were the influential Dalit women politicians elected to the Legislative Assembly, and what was their contribution, as well as the contributions that they made to the community in society? It is also important to have nobody elected as a woman legislator in the legislature, especially in 1952, when the first elections were held in the state of Karnataka. Finally, this article will find out and analyze the general caste and scheduled caste women\u27s participation in Karnataka\u27s legislative assembly as well as their leadership
The Origin and Evolution of Migration Governance Policy in Morocco: A Historical and Policy Analysis
Migration Studies is an interdisciplinary field that draws on sociology, economics, history, anthropology, law, and post-colonial studies. The discipline is enriched with studies on the causes of migration, the nature of migration, the effects of migration, laws on migration, and migration governing policies of various nation-states and international organizations. The rising number of migrants crossing international borders has made migration-governing policies of nation-states as the new center for academic inquiry and research in the emerging discipline of Migration Studies. One such unique case of migration governing policies is of Morocco. Morocco is a country in the north-western tip of the African continent and its geographical proximity to Europe makes it one of the most sought-after routes for migration to Europe by migrants. Morocco’s own trends of migration from the 1960s onwards, make its status uniquely rotating between sending country to transit country to host country of migrants. Another dimension in Morocco’s migration governing policy is the lack of indigenous African context and the predominance of the European Union’s policies. African context of migration governing policy can be developed by deducing major treaties, protocols, and frameworks like the Abuja Treaty (1994), Agenda 2063, Revised Migration Policy Framework for Africa, and Plan of Action (2018-2027) of African Union, etc. at the continental and regional level. Morocco has sought to move away from Africa’s migration governance framework and is an outright active member participating in European Union’s exhaustive migration governing policies. In this light, Morocco’s migration governing policy and its various facets provides a good case to be studied and analyzed in detail.
This study examines the origin and evolution of migration governance policy in Morocco, tracing its development from colonial times to the present day
