The partition of India has been the most remarkable and momentous event in the history of Indian subcontinent. Its impacts were diverse on different people, including women and children. Significant events like, Partition of India, usually inspire artists and writers to record such great events in the history and also portray artistically in literature. People saw not only outrageous bloodbath but also it showed totally inconceivable horrible events that wedged the mind, body and soul of not only the victims of violence but also of those who eventually either witnessed or heard the stories post these occurrences, thereby affecting the people socio-emotionally. What the human history witnessed was mass migration, hustle and bustle of rapes, abduction of hapless women and children, in addition to causing spread of hatred and scare from the other community that hovered all around petrifying not only the human beings but also the surroundings, leading to terrible psychosocial factors. Needless to say, that the level of awful experience that people underwent during the period was surprisingly bitter and unimaginably cruel. Apart from the psychological state of the victims which got impacted, there were many who did not lose their calm but fought bravely and came out thriving. They demonstrated their strength and did their level best in re-constructing and rehabilitating their lives fighting with all the adversities while withholding and suppressing the toxic pains and torture that they went through, thereby creating a work-life balance in their lives

Marital rape, the non-consensual sexual intercourse within a marital relationship, remains a contentious issue globally, including in India. Marital rape, defined as non-consensual sexual intercourse within a marital relationship, continues to be a highly debated and contentious global issue, including in India. This research paper aims to delve into the concept of marital rape within the Indian legal framework, critically analyzing its treatment and examining its societal implications. By exploring existing laws, judicial precedents, and considering socio-cultural factors, this study endeavors to shed light on the challenges associated with addressing marital rape as a grave violation of human rights. In India, the legal framework regarding marital rape is complex and controversial. The exception under Section 375 of the Indian Penal Code, which exempts marital rape from the definition of rape, has been a subject of extensive debate. This exception is grounded in the notion that marriage implies perpetual consent to sexual activity, disregarding the importance of autonomy and consent within intimate relationships. The absence of specific legislation criminalizing marital rape has resulted in significant gaps in the legal protection of individuals, particularly women, who experience non-consensual sexual acts within their marriages. The societal implications of marital rape in India are far-reaching. Marital rape perpetuates a culture of gender inequality, reinforcing power imbalances within marital relationships. It undermines the bodily autonomy, dignity, and well-being of victims, contributing to their physical, emotional, and psychological harm. Moreover, the stigma and societal pressure surrounding the sanctity of marriage often discourage victims from reporting incidents of marital rape, perpetuating a cycle of silence and impunity. Addressing the issue of marital rape requires a multi-faceted approach encompassing legal reforms, awareness campaigns, and societal attitudes. International human rights standards emphasize the importance of recognizing marital rape as a crime and providing adequate legal protections to victims. Many countries have criminalized marital rape and implemented consent-based frameworks to address this form of sexual violence. India, too, needs to reconsider its legal provisions, ensuring that the rights and autonomy of individuals within marital relationships are protected. This research paper critically examines the legal treatment of marital rape in India, taking into account constitutional provisions, judicial precedents, and comparative analysis with international legal frameworks. It also explores the socio-cultural factors that contribute to the persistence of marital rape and the challenges faced in addressing this issue effectively. By highlighting the importance of recognizing marital rape as a violation of human rights, this study aims to contribute to the ongoing dialogue and advocacy for legal reforms and societal change that prioritize the well-being and agency of individuals within marital relationships. This research paper aims to explore the concept of marital rape within the Indian legal framework, critically analyzing its treatment and societal implications. By examining existing laws, judicial precedents, and socio-cultural factors, this study seeks to highlight the challenges and potential avenues for addressing marital rape as a serious violation of human rights

    Get PDF
Leadership is the process of persuading others to work deliberately in a task relationship in order to achieve the desired results. Leadership is essential in organisations to carry out a goal and lead others in completing tasks.  An organization will run well if the leader really has good and true leadership traits. To be effective, a leader must possess certain characteristics. The essential responsibility of school leaders is to promote the best education possible for all students, particularly disadvantaged students. To achieve this, the school leader needs to increase his or her employees\u27 motivation, skills, and working conditions in the context of a various student body. Research found the two of the most important and durable leadership models are transformational and instructional leadership. They do, however, differ in one important way.  Instructional leadership is mainly about the direction of leaders’ influence because of its focus on improving teaching and learning. The processes by which enhancement occurs are secondary to this focus. Transformational leadership, on the other hand, is primarily concerned with how leaders influence their followers. Leaders are thought to inspire their followers to become more committed to organisational goals

    Get PDF
People skills, empathy, non-reactivity, self-confidence, an optimistic view, and similar traits are all essential for employees to play a significant part in an organization\u27s success. Over half of all medical issues are thought to have a psychological basis, and this percentage is expected to rise as the pace of life continues to quicken. As an intervention, meditation has been found to help workers deal with stress, improve their character, conduct, and communication, and bring about a change from within. Since anxiety is a leading cause of adult impairment across the globe, many government and health organizations advocate meditation as a treatment for stress and anxiety. This study explores meditation\u27s potential to enhance corporate and organizational performance by promoting the development of positive attitudes, values, and personality characteristics among employees. Here, we look at how meditating at work might improve employees\u27 well-being and output. It uses numerical information on traits including personality, social intelligence, empathy, and other mental states. There were workers there from all sorts of businesses and backgrounds. Meditation\u27s positive effects on self-awareness, emotion control, social competence, and empathy were evident among the study\u27s frequent meditators. Meditating workers find it simpler to manage their time effectively and bounce back from setbacks in their personal and professional lives. Since the health and happiness of workers is becoming more of a focus in the modern workplace, meditation may be an excellent way to create a more tranquil and gratifying setting for everyone involved. Additional research is needed before any firm conclusions can be made regarding the relevance of these results to other types of workplaces.
