Eco-Tourism Branding Building a Sustainable Image in the Tourism Industry
Sustainability is gradually gaining traction in the tourism sector, and eco-tourism is an important segment with pronounced emphasis on environmental protection and community well-being. Branding effectively a destination\u27s sustainable practice is key to the success of any eco-tourism venture. This article delves into the role of eco-tourism branding in building the sustainable image of the tourism industry focusing on how eco-certifications and digital marketing strategies affect tourists\u27 perceptions and behavior.
With a quantitative research design, data were collected from tourists (400) through structured questionnaires using a 5-point Likert scale. The study attempted to test two main hypotheses: (1) Tourists\u27 awareness of eco-certifications significantly enhances their perception of a destination\u27s sustainable image; and (2) Digital marketing strategies positively influence tourists\u27 intentions to revisit eco-tourism destinations. The relationships were examined statistically with correlation, regression, and ANOVA analyses.
The more people get to understand eco-certifications such as EarthCheck and Green Key, the more they would be able to appreciate the sustainability of a destination for linchpin tourists. Such is the effect of digital marketing campaigns, particularly through social media and online reviews, on the travel intention of tourists towards eco-tourism precincts. As a result, it provides credit to eco-certifications and uses robust digital marketing strategy in eco-tourism to represent it as a brand for sustainable tourist practices.
The result of this research indicates the underlined importance that eco-tourism branding would have in building sustainable images of destinations. However, it encourages tourism stakeholders to prioritize getting recognized eco-certifications and leverage innovative forms of digital marketing in order to meaningfully communicate their sustainability objectives. Such integrated efforts would improve destination attractiveness through environmental conservation and support local communities holistically towards sustainable tourism development.

Utility Of Mandibular Canine Index In Human Identification : A Forensic Study In Navi Mumbai
Objective:
To establish the effectiveness of the mandibular canine index (MCI) in predicting sex in the Navi Mumbai population.
Materials and Methods:
A total of 200 subjects (100 males and 100 females), aged 17–25 years and residing in Navi Mumbai, were included in the study. Alginate impressions were taken, and study models were prepared using dental stone. The maximum mesiodistal width of mandibular canines and the intercanine distance (linear distance between the cusp tips of mandibular canines) were measured using a Vernier caliper. The observed mandibular canine index (MCIₒ) was calculated as the ratio of the maximum mesiodistal width of the mandibular canine to the intercanine arch width.
Results:
The left mandibular canine exhibited greater sexual dimorphism (9.05%) compared to the right (8.78%). Sex could be accurately predicted in approximately 70% of the subjects.
Conclusion:
Using the standard MCI, sex determination was possible in about 72% of the studied Navi Mumbai population. Therefore, MCI serves as a simple, rapid, and reproducible method for gender determination, especially useful in forensic and anthropological contexts
Effectiveness of Risk Management in the MSME Sector: A Pilot Study
Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is now accepted as an integral part of the organizational matrix in the MSME sector. While a lot of research has been undertaken in the field of risk management by financial institutions, very little effort has been made within India to understand the overall risk scenario in this sector. As MSMEs are the backbone of the economy, their sustained growth has always been the top priority of every government in the world. Due to their low capital base, inability to invest in technology, centralized decision-making, and lack of a structured ERM framework, the organizations have always been struggling and are observed to be highly susceptible to risks and vulnerable to business disruptions. Though ERM is in a nascent stage in India, it is widely practiced and the MSME sector, due to its exposure to the global marketplace, is no exception to it. This paper is a pilot study to understand the effectiveness of ERM and forms a part of the main study in the same area.

Utilization Of Outcome Measures By Physiotherapist For Low Back Pain
Background: Rehabilitation of patients with low back pain forms an important part of physiotherapy practice, then also rehabilitation outcomes often are poorly quantified. This study examined the use of outcome measures for low back pain by Indian Physiotherapists.
Methods: A survey questionnaire was sent via social media like WhatsApp, Facebook, and email to all physiotherapists via google forms working either in private practice, government organizations, Physiotherapy colleges, free lancing. Link was accessed 125 times and 71 fully filled responses were analyzed.
Results:The mail survey achieved a 56.8% response rate and showed that 52.9% physiotherapists used outcome measures. Improvement in person-specific functional activities is the preferred outcome measure used by physiotherapist.
Conclusion: Half of the study sample of practitioners used outcome measures in their clinical practice. Therapists who were having a post graduate degree or more experience, were using more outcome measures then those who were having graduation degree or less experience. Further research is needed on how to convey to practitioners that the information they provide can be useful and can improve patient outcomes
Empowering The Nation Through Gender Inclusive Politics
According to Harold Laswell “politics is who gets what, when and how”. The issue of distributing resources among individuals has been a longstanding and crucial challenge. Politics at the seat of decision making is crucial for the equitable and optimal utilization of resources(Politics, n.d.). Given the interdependence of politics, the economy and society, women\u27s political representation is essential to inclusive development. However, when viewed from a gender perspective, we need to make significant changes to our human resource approach and distribute the benefits fairly. According to Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), women in India make up to 14.44% of the 17th Lok Sabha. As per the Election Commission (ECI) of India female representation stands at an average of 9% for all the state assemblies(New IPU Report Shows That Women MPs Have Never Been so Diverse, 2024). Despite a recent increase in female voter turnout, this has not led to the rise in women contesting elections, getting elected, holding ministerial and other prominent positions. With all the insights, through this article I intend to write upon, an overview of women\u27s status in Indian and international politics, constitutional safeguards and legal provisions and initiatives for the representation and political empowerment of women. General view on the status of other genders in Indian politics and recent developments. Inter-linkages between gender inclusive politics on economy, society, social justice, law and order and the way forward for a gender inclusive democratic India
“Assessing The Impact Of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDUGKY) On Rural Youth Employability And Socio-Economic Transformation: Evidence From Tumkur And Bangalore Rural Districts Of Karnataka”
Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) is a skill training placement program that is optimistically aimed at increasing employability of the young members of poor families residing in rural districts. The study project will aim at examining the impacts of DDU-GKY on the employability of the rural youth, skills acquisition and socio-economic change of the Tumkur and Bangalore Rural Districts i.e. state of Karnataka. The survey was done on 442 filler registered youth of which 198 were of Tumkur and 244 were of Bangalore Rural District. The data collection instrument was a structured questionnaire and took about eighty items and data were analysed through statistical application (SPSS and Excel) which included descriptive statistics, Chi-Square test, ANOVA and hypothesis test. The results showed that the attitude regarding the ability increased among the youths, that the level of education was positively correlated with the impediments which the youths had to against them to acquire the capabilities of the youths and that the respondents positively reacted to the statement that there was an improvement in their life both personally and socially and that they believed there was optimism in decision making and confidence as a result of being trained to acquire the skills of the youths. The study did however find some gaps in the area of specialization skills required like automobile, electrical and agricultural industries and that there are few chances of obtaining work in the country and that the families of the rural youth require more agricultural experience. The paper has discovered that the DDU-GKY solution is an interesting way of addressing the issue of employment and the sustainable youth development in rural areas, but it should focus more on the process of the expansion of the society and the improvement of the field-specific training and the compliance with the local livelihood paradigm
Effects Of Low-Dose Versus Standard-Dose Intravenous Dexamethasone On Postoperative Vomiting, Nausea And Pain In Children Undergoing Tonsillectomy: A Randomised, Controlled, And Blind Trial
Background: Tonsillectomy among the children is often linked to postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV) and pain that may slow down the recovery and accelerate hospital readmissions. Dexamethasone has been proved to decrease the morbidity after surgery, but the optimal dose is still unknown. Methods: This is a prospective, randomized and double-blind study in which 76 children aged between 2 and 8 years undergoing elective tonsillectomy were selected to receive anaesthetic induction at intravenous dexamethasone 0.15 mg kg-1, dexamethasone 0.5 mg kg -1, and placebo. The main outcome was the occurrence of PONV, whereas additional outcomes were postoperative pain and analgesics needs. Results: Both dose levels of dexamethasone decreased the case of rescue anti-emetic treatment significantly when compared with placebo (P = 0.012). There were no substantial differences in the two doses of dexamethasone. The analgesic needs in the postoperative period did not differ between groups and yet the pain scores rose on the second day of postoperation in patients treated with dexamethasone. Conclusion: Dexamethasone at a single low dose as an IV bolus is effective in the reduction of PONV following paediatric tonsillectomy and does not increase adverse events.

Antimicrobial Activity Of Ginger And Rosemary Mediated With Tio2 Using Dental Varnish
Aim:To investigate the antimicrobial activity of ginger and rosemary mediated with TiO2 using dental varnish.
Introduction: Pharmaceutical corporations are substantially investing in the development of natural medicines derived from plants as a result of the rise in the usage of traditional medicinal herbs in recent years. Media poured into the sterilized plates and let it stable for solidification. The wells were cut using a 9mm sterile polystyrene tip and the test organisms were swabbed. The nanoparticles with different concentrations (25µL, 50 µL ,100 µL )were loaded and in the fourth well standard antibiotic amoxicillin was loaded
Result: At 25μl, 50μl and 100μl, the antimicrobial activity against lactobacillus was found to be significant when compared to the standard. At 50μl and 100μl, the antimicrobial activity against E. faecalis was found to be significant when compared to the standard. At 25μl and 100μl, the antimicrobial activity against S. aureus was found to be significant when compared to the standard.
Conclusion:The present study supports the antimicrobial activity of the ginger and rosemary with nanoparticle titanium oxide against S. mutans, E. faecalis and S. aureus, C. albicans, Lactobacillus along with dental varnish
Effects Of Smoking On Clinical Measures And Development Of Disease In Ocular Inflammatory Disorders: A Multicenter Cohort Study
Purpose: The aim of the study is to determine the relationship between smoking and the clinical progression of the ocular inflammatory diseases.
Methods: In our study we did retrospective study in a multicenter cohort of 1500 non-infectious ocular inflammation cases in patients. The status of smoking was divided into current, former, and never smoker. The primary outcomes were time to disease quiescence and time to recurrence, which were measured by the Cox proportional hazards models. The baseline visual acuity, the laterality of inflammation, and subtype of disease were measured.
Findings: Smoking current smokers were in worse baseline visual acuity, bilateral inflammation, and disease recurrence rate. The outcomes of the former smokers were similar to non-smokers and this indicated that this could be reversed. The likelihood of relapse and 60 percent increased risk of mortality were found to be 1727 percent higher in smokers. The multivariate analysis also confirmed that bilateral disease and older age had an impact on disease quiescence, whereas smoking was also a significant factor in adverse outcomes.
Conclusions: Smoking is one of the major modifiable risk factors of ocular inflammation. Stopping could lead to better visual results, lower the rate of relapse and live longer.

Stress Experienced by Parents of Children Diagnosed with a Learning Disability- A Study
Parental stress is experienced by children’s parents with learning disabilities such as Down syndrome as well as Intellectual Disabilities as a result of adjusting to and managing with their children\u27s problems. Despite the fact that millions of people encounter learning difficulties every moment, there is a widespread uncertainty and disinformation about the nature and influence of learning disability. Inadequate knowledge regarding learning disability increases the danger of stigma, as well as the chance of diminished expectations as well as missed opportunities in school, the workplace, and the community. Recent research has found that children’s parents with neuro disabilities suffer more parental stress than parents of normally developing children, although the relationship between the type of condition and parenting stress is unclear. This study aims to compare mean scores of the parental distress level among children parents with learning disabilities & difficult child level among children’s parents with learning disabilities
