Relevance: Genital endometriosis is the most common disease of the female reproductive system. Currently, 190 million women and adolescent girls worldwide suffer from this disease.  Although many aspects of genital endometriosis have been scientifically studied, there is still a clinical need to improve the methods of diagnosis and treatment of symptoms associated with this disease. These issues are particularly relevant to the management of patients with adenomyosis. The aim of the study was to evaluate the clinical efficacy of indinol-3-carbinol and epigallocatechin-3-gallate in patients with adenomyosis. Methods: The study enrolled 72 patients with adenomyosis (mean age 34.1±3.2 years) who received indinol-3-carbinol and epigallocatechin-3-gallate for 6 months. The treatment efficacy was evaluated on the basis of the change in clinical symptoms of the disease and the dynamics of ultrasound criteria of adenomyosis. Results: After a 6-month course of therapy, there was a significant regression of disease symptoms and positive dynamics of changes in sonographic criteria of adenomyosis. No patient dropped out of the study and no patient experienced any significant side effects. Conclusion: Therapy with indinol-3-carbinol and epigallocatechin-3 is a promising method of adenomyosis treatment, taking into account a significant improvement in patients’ quality of life and the possibility to implement reproductive plans

Communication is one the leading tools for developing and maintaining corporate social responsibilities in any organization and corporate house. In the globalized World, social media created significant space in communication system and potentially influencing human behaviour in relation to determine responsible and irresponsible behaviour. In case of corporate social responsibility (CSR), “Companies must voluntarily conduct their businesses in an economically, socially and environmentally responsible atmosphere and manner to be sustainable over a long period of time in competitive market. Corporate social responsibility (CSR) refers to business practices involving initiatives that benefit society other than mere financial gains” (Freeman, 1984). CSR can be viewed from two perspectives, i.e. internal and external CSR. Jayabalan, (2016) has defined internal CSR “as employee emotional attachment towards the organization” Though the concept of CSR is very popular organizations communicate their efforts of CSR activities to hide irresponsible acts from the stakeholders.  Armstrong, Pioneer of the concept of CSI, defines it as an umbrella term for a number of questionable actions taken by the firm. Thus, through this research the researcher tries to analyze the impact that social media communications have in mitigating irresponsible behavior of firms with reference to India. The study was conducted with the help of a self constructed questionnaire which was examined on a sample of 350 employees.  The employees from construction industry comprised the sample, which included project managers and engineers, technicians and architect. This data was analyzed using one sample t-test and gap analysis. It is a composite and comprehensive study conducted through quantitative and qualitative research approaches. Moreover, findings of the study suggested that, positive and significant impact has been shown by the social media platforms and communications in mitigating corporate social irresponsibility

For this reason, the government is committed to adopting SDGs in development through Presidential Regulation Number 59 0f 2017 and implementing them in all villages under the Minister of Village Regulation PDTT Number 13 of 2020. By using qualitative research methods, this paper tries to explain the extent to which the contents of the SDGs have been applied to the development process. The Village MTDP is the main ingredient for villages in carrying out development programs that are more equitable and have the impetus and collective efforts to achieve the SDGs. The MTDP of Pelitaasih Village, Garut Regency has contained the SDGs objectives, but there are still issues regarding village SDGs data, understanding of village government officials, program sharpening, and acceleration of implementation through multi-stakeholder collaboration

Factors Influencing Adolescent Mental Health Especially in Terms of Self-Esteem and the Impact of Peer Pressure

    Get PDF
About sixteen per cent of people are teenagers. Teenage years are a time of significant personal growth. Due to the rapid emotional, physical, and social shifts that take place during this period, adolescents are particularly prone to mental health problems. The protection of adolescents and young adults from risk factors, the creation of appropriate coping strategies, and the accessibility of psychological services are all necessary for the mental health of both adults and teenagers. In spite of the fact that these problems frequently get overlooked or treated incorrectly, it is estimated that 1 in 7 ( fourteen percent ) adolescents between their ages of ten and nineteen have mental health conditions globally. Adolescents with mental health issues are disproportionately affected by human rights violations, stigma and discrimination (which may reduce their desire to seek help), academic difficulties, hazardous conduct, and physical disease

Mitigation of Physical Risks on Tracks, Cycle Paths and Pedestrian Sidewalks, Caused by Falling of Boulders, Gravel, Sand, Silt and Clay from the Scarp and Crown of the Miraflores Malecon – Lima

This work was carried out in the Miraflores district, in which we studied an old sector of the alluvial fan of the Rímac River, which belongs to the area of interest, which is the sea cliffs. That, verified in situ, there are clayey, silty, sandy and pebble horizons with different granulometry, which have different bearing capacity indices up to 8kg/cm2, when collecting data with the Prima 100, is similar to the resistance of the soil in the Historic Center of Lima; which in the XIX - XX centuries were good aquifers. In Miraflores the growth of their houses is vertical and their population located in them requires more and more water, which is obtained by pumping aquifers with lenticular geometry in series from surface to depth, a fact that originated the decrease in the piezometric level, evidenced in the marine escarpments of its cliff, where travertines are present in crusts and leachate spills that are visible. The present project was concluded in which we indicated the causes that originate the falls of rocks from the cliff, to achieve this we mapped and determined the areas of greatest erosion, caused by marine dynamics, added the calculations with the values obtained in UNI laboratories – UNMSM, result of the in situ sampling where the PRIMA 100 was used, reinforced by the analysis of the IGP seismic wave train plans. Googleearth, Googleearth-pro, Googlemaps, in the end we produced this report where we proposed rules to mitigate risks and prevent future loss of human life
