    Get PDF
Quality of life (QoL) is exposed as the satisfaction which a person acquires from its surrounding of physical conditions and human conditions that were scale dependent. This QoL could predominantly impact the behaviour of groups inclusive of economic units (firms) and households and individual persons. QoL turns out as theoretically and empirically researched term, in urban planning stream. Specifically in a sector of urban regeneration, the progressing interest lead primarily from unique fact that this QoL contribute to have effects upon cities effective development. The previous literature delineated that certain considerations of QoL could play a significant role to improvise their standards, when organisation and households decide to reside on a location. The direction of this research relies in the investigation of urban planning and regeneration literatures, and to incorporate QoL considerations, in different domains of life into sustainable living standards in measuring through their satisfaction range. The primary objective of the research the key elements, influencing the QoL of people, residing in the sub-cities of Chennai such as Mylapore, Sholinganallur and T.Nagar were determined and the corresponding satisfaction levels in different domains of life are acquired from 957 household participants. The data collection, accomplished through structured questionnaire, gathered from survey assessment, wherein the population samples are chosen using stratified random sampling-approach. The quantitative analysis is employed to assess the association of these life domain attributes and the QoL in terms of levels of satisfaction, from the respondents, through SPSS software package. The research could aid in understanding QoL of urban populations and their domains, and to evaluate the same in regions having similar socio-economic and geographic environment

Background: Shoulder pain is frequently brought on by supraspinatus tendinitis. The patients with supraspinatus tendinitis usually complain of tenderness at the supraspinatus tendon insertion and pain during shoulder movement. A painful arc and overhead reaching are the symptoms of supraspinatus tendinitis, which typically has a lesion close to the musculotendinous junction. Disorders are described by The Matrix Concept as biological processes that have "derailed" and "lost rhythm." The "Matrixmobil," a specialized device, generates a combination of mechanical and magnetic pulses in the 8–12 Hz physiological frequency range. By restoring the proper frequency and amplitude range of the relevant tissue and organs, Matrix Rhythm Therapy seeks to repair errant body rhythm in the event that perturbations to a healthy regulative function of synchronously cooperating oscillations occurs. Methodology: Based on the fundamental inclusion and exclusion criteria, a total of 30 participants who had been diagnosed with supraspinatus tendinitis were recruited for the study. The participants were split into two groups: Group B received therapeutic exercise and icing, whereas Group A received matrix rhythm treatment, therapeutic exercise, and icing. Following the six sessions of matrix rhythm therapy over the course of four weeks, there were therapeutic exercises and icing. Utilizing VAS, SPADI, and shoulder ROM, the individual was evaluated both before and after. Result: The study found that both the intervention group and the control group were statistically significant. The application of matrix rhythm therapy showed more efficacy on the VAS (visual analogue scale), SPADI (shoulder pain and disability index), and shoulder ROM (range of motion) when compared to the control group, according to the study. Conclusion: The current investigation came to the conclusion that both matrix rhythm therapy and therapeutic activities combined with icing have favorable efficacy. Matrix rhythm therapy has been demonstrated to be more effective than therapeutic exercise alone in lowering pain, enhancing range of motion, and reducing disability in individuals with supraspinatus tendinitis.

Most of the studies have been mainly dealt with intergenerational conflict only from the perspective of the non-elderly. This has led to the development and reproduction of theories that explain conflict only from the perspective of the younger generation. The perspective of the older generation, another subject of conflict, is being overlooked. This study aimed to examine intergenerational conflict experienced by aged Korean parents and its impact. This study was conducted to interviewed and conducted a qualitative analysis of five people aged 65 years old or above with adult children. The results of the study revealed the following themes which were “children who take parents for granted,” “incomprehensible differences,” and “presence that they do not want to lose” were proposed. While the participants experienced difficulties due to intergenerational conflict, they do not want to manifest the conflict to the outside because the person in the conflict is their own child. By examining intergenerational conflict from seniors’ viewpoint, this study contributed to filling the gap in the existing literature, which mainly addresses the viewpoint of adult children. This study can be a reference material for developing programs to resolve intergenerational conflict between children and their aged parents
