An Efficient Intrusion Detection Technique For Imbalanced Network Traffic Using Deep Learning
In today\u27s interconnected world, ensuring the security of network systems is of paramount importance. With the proliferation of network attacks, traditional intrusion detection techniques often struggle to effectively identify malicious activities, particularly in scenarios with imbalanced network traffic. In this context, this paper proposes a novel intrusion detection technique leveraging the power of deep learning to address the challenges posed by imbalanced network traffic. The proposed technique harnesses the capabilities of deep learning algorithms, specifically convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and recurrent neural networks (RNNs), to learn intricate patterns and relationships within network data. By employing a carefully designed architecture, the model can effectively distinguish between normal and anomalous network behavior, even in scenarios where the class distribution is highly imbalanced. Experimental evaluations conducted on benchmark datasets demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed technique in detecting intrusions accurately and efficiently, outperforming traditional intrusion detection methods. Furthermore, the proposed approach exhibits robustness against various types of attacks and maintains high detection rates even in the presence of evolving threats. Intrusion detection systems (IDS) play a critical role in safeguarding computer networks from malicious activities and unauthorized access. However, traditional IDS approaches often struggle to effectively detect intrusions in scenarios characterized by imbalanced traffic, where normal network traffic significantly outweighs malicious activities. In this paper, we propose a novel intrusion detection technique leveraging deep learning algorithms to address the challenges posed by imbalanced traffic environments. Furthermore, we incorporate advanced feature extraction mechanisms to enhance the discriminative power of the model, capturing both high-level semantic information and fine-grained network characteristics
The Impact Of Linguistic Landscape On Learning English As A Foreign Language
This paper explores the concept of linguistic landscape (LL) and its application to English as a Foreign Language (EFL) environments, focusing on the range of multimodal texts displayed in public spaces. It discusses how these texts can inform pedagogy and the design of teaching resources in language and literacy education. Specifically, the paper examines how public, out-of-school texts can be utilized to develop students\u27 critical language awareness and enhance their communicative competence. By incorporating images from the linguistic landscape into language instruction, the paper suggests that the language learning process can become more engaging and motivating for students. It addresses the challenge of insufficient exposure to the target language by highlighting the prevalence of linguistic and cultural representations in authentic contexts, thus advocating for the use of the linguistic landscape as a valuable learning space to facilitate language learning. Through active engagement with the linguistic landscape, learners develop critical language awareness and a heightened appreciation for the multifaceted nature of language in society

Thailand has become a full-fledged aging society, how to serve the needs and necessities of exercise promotion for the elderly in Bangkok. Methods: There are four steps to conducting this research: 1. Formulation of the conceptual framework 2. Studying current conditions (actual conditions) and desirable conditions (expected conditions) by asking 400 elderly residents in Bangkok and conducting research using the Delphi Technique with 20 people from 7 experts. Results: PNI values in desirable conditions averaged higher than current conditions in all four aspects. Management has the highest difference, or PNI value, followed by money, man, and material. The study of the development of an exercise management model for elders operating in Bangkok includes inputs, processes, and results. Let\u27s summarize it into a model and evaluate its feasibility. Conclusions: it was confirmed that it was appropriate to use the exercise promotion model for the elderly in Bangkok to achieve good results
The Changing Form of Media with The Advent Of New Technology: An Analytical Study
Along with the effectiveness of the media, its production, access, consumption, dissemination and distribution have completely changed. New technology has added many new aspects to it. New experiments in digital have forced traditional media to change as well. In the new era, mobile phones have got rid of many expensive and heavy equipment. Where earlier five men were needed for live broadcasts on television, it has been reduced to smartphones. Technology has not only changed man but it has changed the entire media technology. Now the entire online broadcasting van can be carried around in one\u27s pocket. Not only this, the need for cameramen has also been eliminated by mobile phones. The Internet has made media accessible. Traditionally, only selected people had the right to speak in electronic media, social media has changed this paradigm as well. Now even the traditional media must come on social media to express their views. It has also led to the personalization of media consumption. Now the convenience of viewing media content of choice has given the media an opportunity for recommendation engines and targeted advertising. The media has also reinforced data-driven insights through the Internet. Media companies have also benefited from Internet-based technology in collecting and analyzing vast amounts of user behavior, preferences, and engagement data. New technologies in media such as content creation, distribution as well as monetization have enabled media companies to make data-driven decisions
Polyherbal Nanogel: A Potential Remedy For The Management Of Rheumatoid Arthritis
Due to reports that these medicines are secure and have minimal unfavourable side effects, particularly when compared to produced pharmaceuticals, interest in using medicinal plants has gradually grown in poor countries in recent years. In the present study, simple, efficient, and economical silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) were produced using the leaf extracts of the three herbs Vitex negundo, Ehretia laevis and rhizomes of Curcuma amada. This multi-herb extract was transformed into synthetic AgNPs, which were more active than the original extract. After synthesising the polyherbal extract and its AgNPs the nanogel was made using a few gelling agents, and the resulting silver nanoparticles nanogel formulation was evaluated. The anti-arthritic characteristics of the recently discovered topical polyherbal nanogel formulation may be due to luteolin, which is present in methanol extracts of polyherbal silver nanoparticles. It was found that the newly developed formulation F2, which contains 1.5% of carbopol 934 and 2% of the three herb extracts, is a potential topical polyherbal nanogel for the management of arthritis. The effectiveness of this formulation for persons with inflammatory joint conditions may be further supported by clinical studies
