    No full text
One of the most significant industries for the future has emerged: tourism. The multiplier benefits of tourism are substantial when it comes to creating jobs, generating revenue, building tourism infrastructure, conserving irreplaceable cultural assets, and developing new tourist destinations. Uttarakhand is still one of the top tourist destinations, and the state has enormous potential for growth in tourism in the future. Additionally, tourism is a socio-economic activity that deals mostly with people traveling for various reasons in order to achieve a variety of goals. It encompasses a wide range of services. The state of Uttarakhand has several ecotourism destinations that draw in environment enthusiasts, such as national parks and animal sanctuaries. Despite being a relatively new concept, home-stay tourism is gaining popularity and piquing the curiosity of academics and facilitators alike. Although the practice of letting visitors stay in someone\u27s home is commonly referred to as "Airbnb," it is frequently discovered that home owners must do significant "re-dos" and "restructurings" to their properties in order to make them appropriate for tourists. The benefits, drawbacks, opportunities, and risks of increasing homestays will all be considered in this study. The growth of homestays was hindered by a number of factors, including shifting tourist expectations on cleanliness, unstable economies, and local governments\u27 reliance on outside funding. The community need funding in addition to the ability to accommodate visitors. In light of this, the current article’s goal is to look at how widespread homestay tourism and how its effect the economy is in the kumauon region of the Indian State of Uttarakhand. Since they give visitors a genuine, immersive experience and stimulate economic growth in the areas they are visiting, homestays have become a major factor in the expansion of the tourism industry. This study investigates how homestays affect Uttarakhand\u27s economy, concentrating on the Kumaon area. We investigate how homestays propel economic growth, encourage community empowerment, and improve the region\u27s overall tourism experience using a case study methodology. We examine the financial benefits, difficulties, and potential connected with homestay tourism in Uttarakhand using both qualitative and quantitative data gathered from guesthouse owners, visitors, and local stakeholders. Our research addresses concerns including environmental sustainability, cultural preservation, and legal frameworks while highlighting the revolutionary effect of homestays on rural livelihoods, revenue creation, and infrastructure development. This study intends to educate policymakers, tourism stakeholders, and local communities about the possible advantages and difficulties of promoting homestay tourism as a sustainable approach to destination development in Uttarakhand\u27s Kumaon region by providing insights into the intricate dynamics of homestay tourism

Fast dissolving drug delivery systems offers a solution for those patients having difficulty in swallowing  tablets/capsules etc. Fast dissolving tablets disintegrate instantaneously in the mouth so that they can be swallowed without the aid of water. The aim of the present study was to investigate pre formulation studies of drug losartan potassium using locust bean gum as a natural super disintegrant. Perform pre formulation studies like partition coefficient, solubility and identification of drug. The influence of precompressional parameters like angle of repose, swelling index and micromeritic properties on formulation of a tablet along with melting point, drug characterization like organoleptic properties, interaction studies and compatibility Material and methods: Losartan potassium was received as gift sample from Elfin drug pvt ltd baddi, nalagarh (Himachal Pradesh). Locust bean gum was purchased fromLucid colloids, Mumbai. Microcrystalline cellulose (avice1102), aspartame and magnesium stearate was received as gift sample from helios pharmaceutical pvt. ltd. baddi (H.P). Menthol was purchased from Yarrow Chem. Mumbai (Maharashtra) and talc was purchased from Qualichems Fines Chemicals ltd New Delhi. Result: The results suggested that locust bean gum in 7.5% concentration possess excellent super disintegrant property and resulted in fast dissolving tablets. Swelling index was found to be 22 which indicated appreciable capability of locust bean gum to be used as super disintegrant. IR spectra and DSC study showed that there was no any kind of interaction with formulation additives of the tablets. Conclusion: Based on the pre formulation studies locust bean gum show a super disintegrant properties and it is clear that we can formulate fast dissolving antihypertensive tablet with losartan potassium by using locust bean gum as superdisintegrant

A sensitive high-performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) method were developed and validated for the estimation of Sorafenib tosylate in bulk and pharmaceutical formulations. The chromatographic separation was achieved by RP- HPLC using a mixture of Acetonitrile: Methanol (45:55) as the mobile phase, a C18 column & at 263 nm with flow rate 1ml/min. The linear and reproducible calibration curve over the range was 2–20 μg/ml. These methods were tested and validated for various parameters according to ICH guidelines. The proposed methods were successfully applied for the determination of Sorafenib tosylate in pharmaceutical formulations. The results demonstrated that the procedure is accurate, precise and reproducible (relative standard deviation <2%), while being simple, cheap and less time consuming. The method showed adequate precision with a relative standard deviation (RSD) smaller than 3%. The accuracy was analyzed by adding a standard drug and good recovery values were obtained for all drug concentration used. Degradation studies were carried out under conditions of Alkali Degradation, Acid Degradation, dry heat Degradation, Peroxide Degradation, and UV light and the drug substances were degraded in all conditions. Force degradation studies shows all the degradant peak obtained during degradation were well resolved from main peak of the drugs. The analytical procedure is reliable and offers not only advantages in terms of speed but also met the regulatory requirements for specificity, Linearity, LOD, LOQ, Precision, accurac

Curiosity, the innate desire for knowledge acquisition, is a fundamental aspect of human cognition. This study investigates the curiosity levels among high school students in the Thoubal Municipal Area of Manipur, Indian easternmost state, internationally bordering with Myanmar. It examines potential variations based on age and class. Utilizing the Curiosity and Exploration Inventory for Korean Adolescents (CCS-KR, 2012), 325 students (155 boys and 170 girls) were randomly sampled. The internal consistency of 0.83 Cronbach Alpha and a mean scale score of 77.15±14.10 were observed. The findings indicate a moderate to high level of curiosity among high school students in Thoubal Municipality of Manipur. Furthermore, no statistically significant differences were found based on age or class. These findings suggest that curiosity levels among high school students in the population remain consistently high irrespective of demographic factors. &nbsp
