The Use of Authentic Films in the Teaching of English Language in Upper Courses and Its Psychological Effects
It is possible forming the training process more efficiently and achieves higher training outcomes by using authentic films in the auditorium. Methodists believe that teaching a foreign language as a specialized language by using authentic films, instead of a foreign language environment, it creates great opportunities for students to become more familiar with the culture of their native speakers, the sociocultural space in which they live and use language as a means of real communication. Authentic materials in teaching business English are not only useful for students. Teachers also take advantage of authentic materials. It is suggested that authentic materials help teachers in planning and designing the educational curriculum. These materials are considered useful because they allow teachers to create an educational curriculum based on the needs of students. Authentic materials provide teachers with sources of contemporary languages such as English, German, French, and introduce students to real life outside the classroom. Through authentic materials, we understand the language of real-life beggars for real listeners.
Beside all these, the article shows that films should be widely used in the teaching of specialized language in the faculties of language. The films which presented to the students should be authentic and should be selected in the frame of their age, intellectual and knowledge levels of the students. The students\u27 national-cultural affiliation, the socio-cultural context in which the training takes place must be taken into consideration when choosing films. Films should be neither too easy nor too difficult, both in terms of content and language. Working in this direction should be start from the initial stage of education, and should be carried out in a purposeful, systematic, step-by-step manner, following the principles of simple to complex.

Emotion and Psychology are the Key: An Affective Event Theory Perspective on Sport Players’ Performance
Emotions, powerful drivers of human behavior and performance, have garnered relatively scant attention in the sphere of sports psychology. This study seeks to rectify this oversight by delving into the multifaceted influence of various emotional dimensions – namely, anger, stress, anxiety, happiness, and excitement – on the performance of sports players. A total of 308 participants were meticulously selected for this study, their data subjected to rigorous analysis employing statistical tools such as SPSS and Structural Equation Modeling. The findings paint a nuanced picture of the complex interplay between emotions and athletic performance. Notably, the results reveal that anger and stress, while potent emotional states, exhibit a counterproductive relationship with performance, albeit not reaching statistical significance. In contrast, anxiety and excitement emerge as formidable influencers, but in opposing directions. Anxiety, when harnessed appropriately, exerts a negative yet statistically significant impact on performance, underscoring the need for strategies to manage and mitigate its effects. On the other hand, excitement, when channeled effectively, exerts a positive and significant influence on performance, highlighting the potential benefits of harnessing this emotional state. Perhaps the most striking finding is the resounding impact of happiness on performance. The data unequivocally demonstrate that happiness yields a substantial and statistically significant enhancement of performance. This revelation underscores the profound role of positive emotions in elevating athletic prowess. The study offers profound theoretical insights into the intricate relationship between emotions and athletic performance. It underscores the need to consider a broader emotional spectrum when studying sports psychology and highlights the nuanced ways in which different emotions can shape performance outcomes. Practically, these findings hold significant implications for coaches, sports organizations, and athletes themselves. Strategies for emotion regulation, stress management, and the cultivation of positive emotional states may prove indispensable in optimizing athlete performance. However, it is crucial to acknowledge the study’s limitations, which include the complexity of emotional experiences and potential individual variations in emotional responses. Despite these limitations, this research represents a significant step forward in our understanding of the emotional dynamics at play in sports performance, offering a foundation for future studies and practical applications in the sphere of sports psychology.

Preliminary Studies on Issues of Implementing Higher Order Thinking Skills Among Technical and Vocational School Teachers in Malaysia
This preliminary study was conducted to find out issues related to the implementation of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) among technical and vocational school teachers in Malaysia. Focus was on the level of understanding as well as support given to the teachers. Participants were also asked about any other related issues on this matter. This study employed a qualitative approach under the case study design. Six teachers were interviewed using an open-ended protocol and the result was analyzed using the Miles & Huberman (1994) qualitative data analysis procedure. The result shows that teachers have a lack of understanding to implement HOTS in their lessons. The need for support is also an issue among the teachers. Changes in syllabus, and teaching approach as well as no clear guidelines in implementation was also an issue

From Ancient to Modern Times: A Systematic Review of Emerging Infectious Diseases and their Relevance to the COVID-19 Pandemic
Infectious diseases have consistently shaped human history, as evidenced by the parallels between the COVID-19 pandemic and previous outbreaks. This study aimed to identify recurring themes in the emergence and management of infectious diseases, with a focus on enhancing future preparedness and response efforts. Through an extensive systematic review of the literature, the research examined factors such as the zoonotic origins of pathogens, the complex interactions between humans and animals, the role of high population densities and urbanization, the critical importance of hygiene and public sanitation, the impact of political leadership and healthcare policies, and the effects of societal beliefs, behaviors, and perceptions on disease spread and control. The investigation revealed patterns that persist from ancient times to modern-day pandemics. One of the key findings highlighted by numerous studies is the need for comprehensive environmental measures to mitigate the risk of zoonotic diseases and manage human-animal contact. Addressing these issues is crucial for establishing robust management systems capable of minimizing the threat of infectious diseases. The study resulted in the creation of a Historical Lens Model that integrates lessons learned from historical pandemics, providing valuable guidance for dealing with current and future public health crises
Psychology and Rehabilitation Awareness through Computer Science Education for Special Education Students
The concept of equality is well-known among people working in the area when it comes to increasing access to computer science in special education classrooms through programs like CS for All. Because stakeholders define the term "equity" in different ways, this has a huge impact on how CS education is implemented in schools. Our study examines how district actors\u27 beliefs about equity manifest themselves in the development and implementation of district-wide computer science education programs. District faculty interviews, district planning documents, meeting transcripts, and on-the-ground observations were used over an 11-month period in five cooperating school districts to support and investigate district-wide Computer Science education activities in a research-practice partnership. We highlight three ways district participants perceived equity in their efforts to teach computer science, using equity frameworks from computer education literature: Third, all students, regardless of gender, ethnicity, or socioeconomic level, must have equitable access to computer science. It is obvious from the data that different districts have taken different approaches to teaching computer science depending on how they see it. The findings of this study should be closely scrutinized by academics and legislators who are committed to making computer science education accessible to all students, regardless of socioeconomic status
Students\u27 Listening Skills and Psychology Awareness in a Pandemic: An ESL Perspective
Whether or not listening skills can be used to measure grammatical ability has been a hot topic of controversy in the language learning community. However, existing study results aren\u27t satisfactory in and of themselves. As a result, considering the current research gap, this study was carried out to solve the issue. To begin, the researchers used a mean listening score to assess the listening skills of 50 ESL first-year students at a public institution. Second, frequency and sentence analysis were used to identify the students\u27 most frequent mistakes and difficulty in listening for grammatical differences. When hearing comprehension outcomes were being evaluated, a written composition activity was used to verify them. There was a strong correlation between the degree of skill of the respondents in listening for grammatical differences between the single and plural forms of subjects and predicates, as well as in the ability to distinguish between the present and past tense verbs. However, more complicated syntactic formulations were discovered to have specific issues. According to the results, the listeners get disoriented and disturbed when the test sentence contains intermediate words, phrases, or subordinate sentences. These difficulties in remembering what they learned at school may result from socio-psychological issues—the intervening words impaired their ability to concentrate and recall information when they were not in a classroom. As a result of the COVID 19 epidemic, instructors and students alike have been compelled to adapt to a new learning environment: the virtual classroom. Online testing and results processing was done under this, considering that electronic platforms are a moderating factor. EFL and ESL specialists like (Shao et al., 2019) and (Walsh & Rsquez 2020) have recognized that this alteration in the modality of teaching influences methods of learning that have not necessarily been delineated previously. While not the primary focus of the research, this work still underlines the new socio-technological component as an essential mediator of listening evaluation for greater grammatical competence
