This has many weaknesses including the problem of time that must be suitable between the buyer and the seller, the buyer's clearance and the seller that possibly very far so it needs travel expenses and some weaknesses.. In this final task, is made an auction system on line by using JSP and Oracle database that can provide information. Based system has some features that can make it easier to find information about the goods offered, sought and the goods auctioned.     Implementation of compression method in sending text message via sms could reduce charge of money. Two up to three of text message could be cut up. So it cost one sms only.. To extend the usage of compression method it will be combined with encryption method as security of sms. The method that will be used are huffman algorithm and Enigma algorithm. To deliver this message we use sms as service. Of course we need to decompress the received message and we make a program to do it. We provide a program to compress-decompress text message and also encrypt-decrypt text message. We expect the cost of system could be decrease.     Analysis of Output Current Ripple of Three-phase PWM Inverter under Discontinuous Modulation Techniques

    In this paper, an analysis of output current ripple of three-phase PWM inverters with discontinuous modulation is presented. The analytical expressions for discontinuous modulation injection signal are derived. It is followed by derivation of rms value of output current ripple of three-phase PWM inverter as a function of modulation index. Analysis of the influence of injection signal phase shift of the rms output current ripple three-phase PWM inverter is given. It is shown that at the same switching frequency with sinusoidal PWM, the discontinuous PWM produces lower rms output current ripple at high modulation index. A 30° lag phase shift results in lower rms output current ripple. Phase shifting from symmetrical discontinuous PWM gives lower modulation index. Simulation results are included to verify the derived expressions

    Spektrum frekuensi merupakan salah satu bagian utama dalam komunikasi nirkabel (wireless). Dengan semakin banyak pengguna frekuensi baik legal maupun illegal mengakibatkan alokasi kanal frekuensi untuk komunikasi nirkabel semakin sedikit. Oleh karena itu diperlukan sebuah sistem informasi Frequency utilization untuk mensinkronkan peraturan yang ada dengan kondisi nyata di lapangan. Riset ini menghasilkan suatu sistem informasi geografis daerah Surabaya yang berisi tentang informasi kepadatan frekuensi 700MHz sampai 3GHz dilengkapi dengan level daya dan informasi pathloss. Perhitungan prediksi pathloos menggunakan metode Okumura-Hatta dan metode Walfisch-ikegami, yang memiliki karakteristik kerja akurat pada daerah urban dan suburban pada range frekuensi 700MHz – 2GHz. Dari hasil pengukuran level daya dibeberapa lokasi di Surabaya, tampak bahwa sinyal yang terpantau paling banyak sampai 11% adalah sinyal dari provider CDMA pada frekuensi 861 – 880 MHz. Pengaruh sudut dan polarisasi tidak signifikan sedangkan untuk ketinggian antenna sangat berpengaruh terhadap penerimaan level daya

    Pada saat ini PID kontroller masih banyak digunakan di berbagai sektor industri, karena ketang-guhannya untuk menghandel permasalahan yang ada di industri, tetapi terdapat satu kekurangan yaitu metode tuning, proses tuning harus dilakukan dengan cara coba - coba. Prosedur tuning lebih banyak dilakukan secara manual dengan metode trial and error yang belum tentu benar, untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dibutuhkan suatu pendekatan alternatif yang dapat mencapai suatu tingkat automasi dari proses tuning dan orang yang melakukan proses tuning tidak harus memiliki pengetahuan luas mengenai sistem pengaturan. Dalam kasus ini metode alternatif yang digunakan adalah Genetic Algorithm (GA). GA diimplementasi untuk mendapatkan kombinasi parameter P,I, dan D dari kontroler PID dalam simulasi pengaturan kecepatan motor induksi tiga fasa sehingga kecepatan motor dapat dipertahankan agar sama dengan kecepatan referensi dalam steady-state. Hasil dari simulasi yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa repons kecepatan yang dihasilkan sangatlah bagus

    In general, additional laptop cooler (coolpad) works with only the supplied voltage of 5 volts from the USB. This may be less effective because the laptop battery will quickly run out because not all laptops used at maximum performance. From the basic idea in this final project coolpad speed settings (additional laptop cooling) using fuzzy logic control. To determine the temperature of which is under the laptop, then used a temperature sensor LM35. Data from the ADC temperature sensor is inserted into the microcontroller as an input fuzzy logic control. Once processed by the fuzzy logic results of the calculations used as an output as the motor speed controller. To manage speed, used PWM. Set point that is used is 33 degrees centigrade.     Our current life surrounded by cryptography. Starting from the transaction at the ATM machine, a conversation through mobile phones, accessing the Internet, to enable the missile was using cryptography. Once the importance of cryptography for Information Security (Information Security), so if talk about security issues associated with computer use, it will not be separated from the cryptography. Cryptography is also used in the process of sending email. If an email is sent through the public network then the security level is very risky. Theft techniques of information from an email will increasingly from day to day. One of them is the concept of Man - In - The Middle. Use of Cryptography will help give our email information security. Although the attacker or the Man - In - The Middle managed to get the text that we send, but can not get any information obtained since the text had been encrypted before. Chipertext obtained can only be opened by the party who has a private key (decryption key). One algorithm used for encryption and discussed in this final project is the ElGamal algorithm. This algorithm emphasizes the discrete algorithm problem. With these problems then chipertext ElGamal encryption result will be very difficult to decrypted.     In the electronic equipment usually requires a rectified dc voltage using diode. Given the output side of the capacitor this would cause a large current harmonics and low power factor. In this final project developed a combined flyback converter and buck converter as power factor correction and harmonic current. In order for the flyback can improve the power factor flyback must work not continuous, where the duty cycle flyback should be fixed. In conventional converter test showed cos φ 0,47 and the current THD at 74 %. While the test converter in the final project was obtained cos φ 0.95 and current THD 29,4 %.     Power Factor Corection (PFC) will be needed by the industries that use motors for the process industry. When using the motor as well as the industry bears the burden of reactive power required by the motor to rotate. With inductive loads such as motors properties causing low power factor (θ Cos). State Electricity Company (PLN) to determine Cos θ as low as 0.85, if under 0.85, the enterprises will get a fine. To anticipate the company use capacitor banks to improve cos θ above 0.85. Method for soft switches SCR capacitor bank is highly recommended. By using soft-switch SCR will improve cos θ as well eliminate the charging capacitor bank inrush currents which can reach 150-300 times nominal current of charging capacitor bank. In the dynamic motor load using a step-capacitor used in accordance with what is needed so that cos θ can be closer to the value set of points. Set point hysteresis value of cos θ of ± 0.01 to minimize fluctuations in the step of switching capacitor banks. With soft-switch SCR method for multiple step capacitor bank will increase the efficient of resources and economic factors of the capacitor bank equipment. Microcontroller is very important in applying the SCR method, the soft switch as a trigger SCR controller. Power factor improvement in motor load cos θ = 0.2 Laging become cos θ = 0.9839 to the setting points cos θ = 0.98. Based on simulation data for each step capacitor bank, a step capacitor bank made the cos θ = 0.265, two step capacitor bank made the cos θ = 0.382, 3 step method to make banks capsitor cos θ =0 .639, and four step capacitor bank made the cos θ = 1.
