    Pada suatu power system, Idealnya bentuk gelombang tegangan dan arus yang dibangkitkan berbentuk sinusoidal yang mulus (smooth sine wave).Akan tetapi,fakta di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa bentuk gelombang tegangan maupun arus tidak semulus yang diinginkan. Penyimpangan dari bentuk gelombang yang ideal tersebut sering dinyatakan sebagai THD (Total Harmonic Distortion). Atau THD bisa dipergunakan untuk menyatakan besar harmonisa yang terkandung dalam gelombang tersebut.Paper ini membicarakan masalah kualitas power system yang terjadi akibat pergeseran sifat beban dalam kuantitas besar, yaitu dari beban linier ke beban nonlinier telah menimbulkan berbagai masalah yang berkaitan dengan introduksi harmonisa, yaitu inkompatibilitas peralatan, peningkatan rugi-rugi dan penurunan efisiensi sistem, penyimpangan sistem pengukuran dan analisis sistem tenaga, penurunan keandalan serta masalah policy/tanggung jawab. Arus harmonisa ini lebih suka mengalir pada impedansi rendah, misalkan pada kapasitor , karena kapasitor memiliki impedansi rendah untuk frekuensi tinggi. Harmonisa sendiri terdiri dari 2 komponen harmonisa layaknya listrik pada umumnya. Yaitu harmonisa tegangan dan harmonisa arus, harmonisa tegangan lebih berbahaya dibandingkan harmonisa arus. Secara garis besar, penelitian ini mengulas masalah pembangkitan harmonisa, masalah yang ditimbulkannya, serta solusi yang dapat diambil, baik secara teknis maupun kebijaksanaan. Sebuah metode digunakan untuk mengliminasi arus harmonik pada sisi pelanggan. Paper juga ini mengevaluasi metode pada perhitungan kompensasi arus yang digunakan untuk mengkompensasi system tiga fasa dengan beban tak seimbang.     Semakin meningkatnya pengguna sistem komunikasi wireless dengan mobilitas yang sangat tinggi, maka pengaturan spektrum frekuensi juga semakin sulit. Perlu diketahui bahwa mobilitas dapat menyebabkan terjadinya overlapping dalam penggunaan band frekuensi, sehingga parameter yang utama yang berpengaruh terhadap performance sebuah sistem komunikasi harus diperhatikan. Pada paper ini telah dilakukan investigasi melalui pengukuran level daya terima dari sebuah pemancar menggunakan spectrum analyzer dengan antenna omnidirectional pada frekuensi 700 MHz - 1GHz, tetapi analisa ditekankan pada frekuensi CDMA. Untuk pengambilan sample daerah pengukuran dibagi dalam 3 katagori yaitu daerah urban, sub-urban dan rural. Parameter pengukuran meliputi perubahan jarak, lokasi dan ketinggian antenna penerima. Sedangkan skenario pengukuran menggunakan model Okumura-Hata. Data hasil pengukuran digunakan untuk menghitung pathloss, kemudian grafik pathloss digunakan untuk menentukan coverage area. Dari hasil penelitian telah diperoleh sebuah database yang dapat digunakan untuk mengetahui kepadatan frekuensi. Disamping itu telah dilakukan perhitungan pathloss yang digunakan untuk menentukan coverage area dari BTS CDMA yaitu didaerah urban sebesar 1,994km, Sub-urban 2,780km dan Rural 2,960km. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa coverage area sebuah BTS sangat tergantung pada kondisi lingkungan disekitarnya. Informasi tersebut diwujudkan pada sistem informasi geografi dan ditampilkan pada sebuah peta elektronik

    Buku Tugas Akhir ini menjelaskan pembuatan Prototype proses pemberian tawas pada PDAM Karangpilang I Surabaya, dimana proses pembubuhan tawas yang dilakukan selama ini masih menggunakan metode manual yang dilakukan oleh operator. Diharapkan Dengan dilengkapi dengan SCADA sistem, yang akan diterapkan dapat memberikan gambaran lebih nyata tentang proses yang dilakukan. Segala hal yang berkaitan tentang memonitoring plant, mengontrol plant serta pengumpulan data plant akan dilakukan oleh SCADA. Untuk lebih memudahkan proses kontrol dan monitoring, maka bentuk dan ukurannya-pun dibuat dalam model miniatur. Sistem SCADA ini menggunakan PLC sebagai auxialiary device, dimana bukaan dari valve untuk mengatur debit tawas yang akan diberikan ke proses penjernihan berdasarkan dari tingkat kekeruhan saat itu diatur menggunakan metode PID. Serta system SCADA ini akan dilengkapi dengan penggunaan Magelis Touch Screen untuk digunakan pada local plant. Dari hasil yang telah dilakukan dengan men-tuning parameter PID perhitungan didapatkan hasil nilai akhir parameter PID sebagai berikut: KP=0.2 KI=0.34 KD=0.47.     At this final project had created 3 phase inverter module based microcontroller as electric vehicle mover that used to control 3 phase induction motor speed in electric vehicle. This 3 phase inverter circuit using microcontroller ATMEGA16 programmed by C Language to produce PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) signal, that will be an input of 3 phase Inverter driver IR2130 as 3 phase inverter driver that provide virtual ground and dead time of each pulse at once, this ability bring easiness and safeness in 3 phase inverter circuit. The Output signal will be used to trigger mosfet in Inverter circuit with 1800conduction mode and variable trigger frequency between 10-50 Hz.     In this final project, rain attenuation is predicted in PENS �ITS environment by synthetic storm technique. Wind angle and wind speed are needed as parameters to find rain attenuation beside rainfall rate. Rainfall rate data is measured by rain gauge tipping bucket. Wind data is came from Badan Meteorologi dan Geofisika Juanda Surabaya. Then that data will be processed until we get value of rain attenuation. This rain attenuation become main data to inserted in frequency scaling method, in this case use Simple Power Law Model and ITU-R. From those model we will get value of frequency scaling (n). This value is different each other beside of frequency (10 until 40 Ghz).From that frequency range we get constant n value, its mean that method is good using as rain attenuation predictor for other frequency, which rain attenuation data for that frequency still few or nothing

    System of protection for trouble at induction motor has a critical role in the industry. In common, the protection of electric motor installation using only the fuse and MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker). Protection by fuses and MCB only able to overcome short circuit and over current fault, in addition, there are still many other problems that can not be protected. The purpose of this final project is to plan and create an electronic motor relay for over load, phase loss, phase reverse, phase unbalance, short circuit, ground fault, and locked rotor. AVR microcontroller is used as the controller of all the systems in detecting the disorder. Where the range of flow settings and trip time is programmed using C language which is operated with the keypad and display to the LCD. As the current and voltage sensing using a current transformer and voltage transformer which was followed by an electronic circuit. For phase reverse sensing, takes the signal from deferensial amplifier forwarded to zerro crossing, triger and compared in X-Or. While the ground fault sensing using a zero current transformer. Accuracy testing of electronic relays motor performed in each trouble type. From these data showed that a microcontroller can be used as a precision analog voltage controller.     Converting the position of Differential Drive Mobile robot to Cartesian area is one of the problem in Differential Drive Mobile robot. In the reality there is no coordinate which can explained the position of mobile robot movement. The Visualisation and real time experiment have drawn to explained how and where the position of movement using Java programming langueage. It has been made due to the difference Angular Velocity between wheels. Angular Velocity is calculated based on real time input from the the robot itself. The Mobile Robot sent packet data pulse by the serial coaxial is connected to the PC. And then the data pulse is calculated to produce the coordinate position at that moment. Based On Visualisation and real time result , it was found that the calculation of data generated coordinate points have a point distance far enough to need to find other points that can be used as a helper to smooth the transition between positions. Interpolation between the coordinate point of the calculation can provide a more smooth transition of movement. The existence of the slippage that occurred on the wheel. This final project is expected to help indicate early peg when there are uprooted. Nodes that diidentikan with the peg prepared on the historical line topology in a network. Preparation of the peg on the line topology is intended to make internode / peg in an inter-connected and if there are problems on one node / peg in particular can be detected by the node / peg in the other. FSK modem device that consists of modulator and demodulator XR-2206 XR- 2211 is used for coding digital data from the microcontroller into the form of frequencies to be transmitted via FM radio waves of 50 MHz.     Line follower robot is a kind of autonomous mobile robot which has a mission to follow a guide line that has been determined. In this final project will be presented in a food menu delivery robot with a path made of metal. The use of metal point is intended to cover the shortage from the use of colored lines that are vulnerable to changes in lighting and dirt. Therefore it should be made of metal sensor by detecting changes in inductance of the coil when brought near to the metal. Robots are required to deliver food menu to the goal, the goal is a table that has been compiled regularly. Mapping should be done so that the robot can travel into the goal automatically. Reservations made at a robot that brings a menu that is connected wirelessly to the kitchen computer. The result is a robot can follow the straight path that has been determined correctly, with 100% success rate. So as to achieve the goal table, the robot is running well, with the percentage of success to the table is right at 86.67%, with the ability to avoid collisions at 93.33%
