Pengkodean Warna Iris Mata Sebagai Password Sistem Pengenalan Individu
Iris mata adalah salah satu bagian dari biometrik yang
memiliki karakteristik pola/tekstur dan warna yang unik
bagi setiap orang. Sifat keunikannya inilah menjadikan
iris mata dapat digunakan sebagai password sistem
keamanan. Hingga saat ini, algoritma-algoritma
pengenalan iris yang dikembangkan baru berdasarkan
pada karakteristik pola iris. Hasil yang diperoleh sudah
cukup baik. Kelemahan dari penggunaan karakteristik
pola iris mata adalah rentan terhadap pergeseran pola
akibat rotasi dan juga perubahan intensitas cahaya.
Dalam makalah ini, penulis mengusulkan model
pengenalan individu berdasarkan pada warna iris
dengan bantuan histogram bin warna 3 dimensi dari
ruang warna HCL. Model ini telah berhasil
dikembangkan dan diimplementasikan dalam suatu
perangkat lunak dan telah diuji-cobakan terhadap 1877
citra iris. Uji coba dilakukan dalam dua cara : pertama
menggunakan 322 citra iris query (citra ini adalah yang
sudah terdaftar dalam data base), kedua adalah
menggunakan 300 citra iris query yang tidak terdaftar
dalam data base. Kedua uji-coba ini ditujukan untuk
melihat tingkat akurasi system yang dikembangkan.
Dari hasil perhitungan uji False Accept Rate ( FAR)
dan False Reject Rate (FRR) menunjukan bahwa system
yang dikembangkan memiliki tingkat akurasi mencapai
96%
Two-Wheeled Vehicle Navigation Based on a Fuzzy Logic Controller
The paper deals with a two-wheeled vehicle, namely ESG-2 (Extended Segway-like Generation-2) navigation control system using a fuzzy logic controller. The vehicle employs two wheels left and right independentlywhich are controlled independently using a fuzzy logic controller respectively. The controllers deal with compact and implementable application for the normal using with a person (human with 60kg weight on average) loaded on the vehicle. A modified infrared-based range sensor and it is incorporated with an accelerometer to control its response in case of dynamics disturbances. The fuzzy logic controller runs in tilt-mode while a reference tilt using a potentiometer (as steer system) is taken into account for navigating the vehicle. From the simulation using MATLAB and experiments it is obvious that the prototype of ESG-2 is quite challenging to be developed in the future
Prototipe Pengukur Dan Pendeteksi Keseimbangan Berat Muatan Kapal Sebagai Antisipasi Kecelakaan
Kecelakaan kapal dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor
yaitu kapal dan system pada pelabuhan yang kurang
optimal, dengan asumsi kondisi cuaca baik. Sistem pada
pelabuhan ini bertujuan memperbaiki kinerja pelabuhan
dalam mengetahui kelebihan berat muatan pada elabuhan dan keseimbangan muatan pada kapal sehingga dapat menghindarkan kapal dari kemungkinan terjadinya kecelakaan karena masalah pada kapal dan pelabuhan. Untuk mengetahui kelebihan muatan pada pelabuhan diperlukan pengukur berat muatan kapal berupa jembatan timbang menggunakan sensor Load Cell kapasitas 10 kg skala 100 ton dengan node komunikasi wire RS485 jangkauan jarak sekitar 1,2 km. Dengan error pengukuran berat muatan sebesar 3% dan keberhasilan pengiriman data berat muatan secara wire dengan jarak 80 km sebesar 100%. Pendeteksi keseimbangan muatan menggunakan sensor Gyroscope dengan node komunikasi wireless xbee-pro untuk jangkauan jarak sekitar 800 meter pada kapal. Dengan error pengukuran sudut keseimbangan sebesar 10,5% dan error pengiriman data sudut muatan secara wireless dengan jarak 80 km sebesar 1,77%
Analisa Interoperability Server VoIP/SIP dengan OpenIMS
Currently, with the development of new generation network (next-Generation) IMS becomes very important, and will be a key role in the development of IP-based infrastructure. But now still in development stage, and still needs time to lawyer-an-upgrade from 3G mobile to the 3GPP network. Therefore, this final project will study and examine the interoperability solutions between openIMS with open source implementations of VoIP / SIP. OpenIMS (Open Source IMS) developed by FOKUS (German institution) in December 2006. This system is still a lot of doubts to be implemented, therefore it is important to be evaluated. Evaluation begins with a test against the network of OpenIMS, then using wireshark software to evaluate the data packets and signaling processes to prove the functions of the components OpenIMS, whether run in accordance with 3GPP specifications v10. In this final project, the most important part is finding the best solution to interoperability between OpenIMS with SIP / VoIP. The parameters that are evaluated include the performance of OpenIMS neighbor and function of each component in openIMS. Due to this, the subject matter is divided into two parts. The first section is build a working environment of openIMS and analyze the performance of the system. The second part is to analyze the system when performing communication between fellow network or clients using IMS protocols and communication with the network or client that uses SIP protocol. PERANCANGAN DAN PEMBUATAN MODUL ECG DAN EMG DALAM SATU UNIT PC Sub Judul: PEMBUATAN RANGKAIAN EMG DAN PERANGKAT LUNAK EMG PADA PC
The ECG and EMG module is designed to implement two modules ECG and EMG into one unit. In addition, ECG and EMG module is built to be more efficient in the use of components because of its modules in one unit. For discussion will be divided into two discussions, one is about the making of EMG hardware and software modules. In making a module that uses EMG signals derived from muscle. The signals were detected on the skin surface is very low at the millivolt range, so that should also be strengthened several times. Characteristics of the EMG signal has a frequency range between 20 Hz - 500Hz and voltage range between 0.4 mV to 5 mV. In addition, EMG has a character unlike the ECG signal in the form of a wave pattern, but this signal is random and very messy, so take a few kinds of filters such as notch filter circuit with cut-off frequency of 50 Hz, Low Pass Filter with cutoff frequency of 500 Hz , and High Pass Filter 20 Hz, to filter the noise carried by reinforcement signals. So that the resulting EMG signal from this circuit a more perfect without the noise interference. Then the ADC converts the signal into digital data. Last will be sent to a PC using a USB to serial cable 232 to see the results it looks. The result is that the tool is already having an almost near the same range with BIOPACK MP-30 with the percentage of error for the measurement of peak peakto amounted to 26.67% while for the high percentage of the amplitude measurement error is 11.94%. KOMPARASI ALGORITMA PENJADWALAN PADA LAYANAN TERDISTRIBUSI LOAD BALANCING LVS VIA NAT
Nowadays, the Internet growth is very fast, we can see that fact from many user that connected to the network. When a single server getting request from many user that is likely to occur overload and crash, so the request can not be served by a single server. One of effective and efficient solutions to resolve that problem is system clustering. System cluster can be built using the concept of network load balancing and high-availability that enables data processing distributed to several computers, we can use linux virtual server. Linux virtual server has several scheduling algorithms that can affect the performance of LVS system, performance of each algorithm can be observed by comparing between algorithms with some parameters such as throughput, request loss, CPU Utilization and response time to obtain the best scheduling algorithm in the implementation of load balancing LVS via NAT. DESAIN TUTUP KEPALA DENGAN PEMANFAATAN LOGAM Cu SEBAGAI APLIKASI UNTUK MENENTUKAN LOKASI SINYAL OTAK SAAT BERAKTIFITAS
Electroencephalography (EEG) is the recording of electrical activity along the scalp produced by the firing of neurons within the brain. Signals were taken by attaching electrodes on the surface of the head. But the installation of electrodes sometime will cause inconvenience to the subject and takes a long time. To solve that problem, will be made easy to operate EEG module, and head cap with Cu or AgCl electrode holder which positioned according to the 10 or 20 electrode placement system. It aims to make the recording process easier and minimize the electrode placement errors. Based on the result of twenty electrode placement test, obtained the recorded signals which approached the expected form for alpha is 50%, for beta is 60% and teta is 10%. DAMPAK KEPADATAN LALU LINTAS TERHADAP KELAYAKAN PEMBANGUAN SPBU DENGAN GIS
Nowadays many Gas Station business grow in the big city especially at Sidoarjo. Along with many Gas Station built which has established, it makes a lot of competition to attract the consumer. One of the factors is the location of its branch which is strategic. Sometimes business owners paying less attention to the factors supporting it so that the existing gas station traffic impacts of congestion. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is an information system capable of visualizing these supporting factors to be known and analyzed, while culstering is the process of classifying objects based on information obtained from the data that describes the relationship between objects in principle to maximize the similarity among members of one class and minimizing the similarity between the class / cluster. K-Means algorithm is used to classify an object that has a similarity (grouping process called clustering) on the basis of K clusters, where K is a positive integer. Aim to find clusters of quality within a reasonable time. The Criteria that can be used include the number of inhabitants, level of traffic density, type of road at a gas station in the area. By visualizing the position of distributing data on the actual condition and results of using GIS and added recommendations of K-Means method to determine into which group these stations are located. DESAIN SENSOR JARAK DENGAN OUTPUT SUARA SEBAGAI ALAT BANTU JALAN BAGI PENYANDANG TUNA NETRA
Sense of vision is one source of vital information to human. It is not excessive if it is being pointed out that the most of information which has been acquired by humans comes from the senses of vision, while the remainder comes from other senses. Thus are, it can be realized that if someone gate some problems with their sense of vision, so their ability to do their activity will be greatly reduced, this is because the information they obtain will be greatly reduced when compared with those with normal vision. In general, the physically blind persons using a white cane or a trained dog to assist the movement and enhance the safety and independence at the time of walking. By having enough information to route that will be passed, persons with visual impairment can be more convenient to navigate in an unknown environment. To solve those problems, we will make a system which can replace and refine the mobility aid which has been existed. This system uses the remaining steps toward an obstacle as the output which expected that it can simplify and make safer the user to navigate in outdoor. On this system calculation error of distance conversion is 4,03 and 4,3 when the system on use to calculate step length. Distance calculation step process takes an average of 5.8 seconds or similar with 4-5 steps while for object detection process takes 1 to 2.5 seconds depending on the type of object being detected. Warehouse is one important aspect in a port. Its function as a storage has a very vital role. Therefore it is necessary to proper settings and fast in use warehouse space, so use of space in warehouse can be more efficient. At this final project arrangement goods problems of efficiency in warehouse will be completed by the ant algorithm Searching solutions starts with the selection gradually based on value of the largest pheromone trail function and heuristic information. Pheromone trail showing solution quality achieved by ants from the previous trip, whereas heuristic information in accordance with input data of a problem. This activity was performed by all ants in a colony. After an ant� colony�s arrange a combination of solutions, the best ant is selected to be compared with global best ant resulting the final solution.
