Result of analysis of Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) obtained data that some skill program in Vocational High School (SMK) experiencing lack of productive teacher. The existence of a dual skills education program is one way to meet the lack of productive teachers. Dual Skill Program intended here is the transfer and or addition of the teacher's assignment from the adaptive subject teacher to become a productive SMK teaching teacher on a particular skill competence in accordance with his interests and talents. Dual Skill Program is aimed at teachers to obtain certification of skills as productive teachers that last for 12 months through four stages with stage of education and training process through the pattern of "On-1 In-1 On-2 and In-2" (theory and practice) At the ON stage participants learn independently in their home school with a given module and mentoring. While for stage IN participants exist in the industry and Center for Development and Empowerment of Educators and Education Personnel (PPPPTK)[10]. At the end of the training, teachers who are participants of the Dual Skill Program may receive a double certificate, a certificate of expertise and an educator certificate. Programs adopted from sandwich systems are good for improving teacher competence, but have not provided an evaluation of the effectiveness of productive teacher printing

Fault diagnosis of induction motor using wavelets

    Get PDF
Wavelet analysis is one the prime signal processing and data analysis techniques its ability to locate fault at exact duration is one of its added advantage in comparison to Fast Fourier transform in which time information of signal is lost .In addition to this FFT has another disadvantage that at low loads sidebands converges so it becomes difficult to detect the faults. STFT was proposed as a solution to resolution problem but its limited time-frequency resolution capability, because the uncertainty principle. Low frequencies can be scarcely depicted with short window that’s why wavelet theory is yet the most powerful tool in data analysis of signals. This paper presents a study of fault detection of induction motor like broken rotor bars stator short circuits using wavelets envelope analysis in which a signal is converted into approximate and detail signals thus removing the fundamental current which hides the fault harmonics present during faults

All around the world, the major mode of transportation is roadways. In civil engineering concern the roadways are well known by name called pavements which are categorised as rigid and flexible. It is a supporting medium means the roadways mode of transport. The durability and serviceability are the two major criteria to be considered in case of pavements. There are enormous number of factors which influence the durability and serviceability. For initial cost the main parameter to be considered is California Bearing Ratio - CBR) value of sub-grade soil. This is the important phenomenon which decides the thickness of cross sectional components. Even though the sub-grade, once had an adequate value of CBR, and later if it is get reduced it will also hike the repairing cost (Maintenance cost). In this experimental study, the effect of dye effluent excreted from textile industries and their effects on CBR value been analysed with a constant duration of curing and alteration with percentage of dye effluent respect to weight of soil within a range of 5 to 20. Results shows that, increase in percentage of dye contamination, reduces the CBR value of soil. Thus it reveals that dye effluent in the highway alignment area will make economical impact. In inevitable situations and unavailability of alternate highway alignment, lesser value of CBR value will attract higher thickness of cross sectional components

Since the advancement in technology many techniques have been developed to reduce the time needed for correction of faults in an induction motor as a single motor failure in an industrial scenario can lead to breakdown of a whole chain of process. In this regard technologies are needed which can online monitor the faults at an incipient stage thus reducing three downtime required for maintenances and repairs. Analysis of line current for fault detection and other signals such as vibration, power, axial leakage flux and partial discharge have been extensively explored. An effective condition monitoring algorithm using different techniques like Fourier transform, wavelet transform etc. along with the choice of the right parameter to diagnose the various faults in induction motors has been one of the key research area in this field. So keeping in mind the vast scope of this area of research, a review paper compiling the various literatures regarding the different fault monitoring machine techniques and the viable machine parameters used till date is presented. &nbsp

Fast Food Industry in India became the best ever rising business in the preceding decade when number of global companies entered the marketplace in order to enlarge their market share and region of operations. However, the chief challenges that appeared amongst the retailers were intellectual barriers, dissimilarity in consumption behavior and spiritual barriers whereas lack of knowledge, small spending power was others. However, with the initiation of globalization and liberalization of economy, key changes were noticed in terms of education level, employment, saving and GDP rate in the economy. This led to additional purchasing power in the customers that began to try the new customer durables and consume outpaces in metro cities and towns. This too impacted on the sales and expansion of fast food retailers who developed their purchaser association policy and promotion mix more over and over again to gain competitive benefit in the markets. As a consequence, the domestic and worldwide retailers extend their operations to main cities and towns crosswise the country in a little phase of time, yet still there was dissimilarity in the promotion policy of global retailers in conditions of advertising initiatives they launched in the western countries. The main objective of the study is to study about the leading food chains of India and to .The research study thus focused on exploring theories and models of consumer behavior, capacity of client devotion and client association policy and efficiency of promotion strategies of domestic and worldwide retailers in the marketplace

    Get PDF
In today's world, there is a strong requirement for sharing information over cloud. However, privacy and security remains a setback especially when working with bulk amounts of data in the Cloud. Data is abundantly stored outside the control of the data owner’s machine with lack of his knowledge to the data owner, how the data being used and where the data are being stored. So, there is a necessity for the data owner to have a more control over their data, similar to the level of control they possess when the data are being stored on their own machine. For example, when a data owner shares an important file with his colleague, he cannot trust what his colleague will do with his data. In this paper, we try to address this problem by monitoring and preventing unauthorized operations by the data consumer. We present a solution called Secure-Data, which bundles the data owner’s data and specified policy, based on XACML, in an object called Secure-Data object. Secure-Data enforces the policies set out by the data owner by communicating with the cloud based applications to disable certain operations and/or run a background process for monitoring the data. We define a software based protocol that will enable to secure the data in the cloud and will support the use of the android app for authentication purposes
