Hand Gesture Recognition Based 3D CAPTCHA
CAPTCHA stands for Computer Automated Public Turing Test to tell Computers and Humans Apart which is a widely used security technique to avoid spams and automatic form submissions by bots, thus ensuring that the end user is a human. An alternative to the present Text Based CAPTCHA which is based on Hand Gesture Recognition and Pattern Matching is proposed in this paper. This approach will verify user as human and prevent bots from spamming applications and services thus making the entire process more secure and reliable. This technique will generate a random series of number which the user will be prompted to mimic as gestures with their hands and it will be captured by the Computer Webcam or mobile phone. A pattern matching algorithm based on SIFT algorithm will run on the user provided Images to identify maximum keypoints after comparing from the database of the pre-stored standard gesture images and after finding a successful match, the site will be navigated to the next page. This process is highly efficient as it is very difficult to design a bot to identify gestures in images
Investigation of lonotphmc perturbation due to Seismic activity using satellite and ground based observations
There is some intriguing research about whether large magnitude earthquakes are associated with ionospheric changes caused by electromagnetic signals released by the crushing of rock and their crystalline structures. If so then ionospheric changes might be a mechanism for major earthquake prediction. Prior to some recent quakes, scientists have detected electromagnetic and other disturbances in the ionosphere, the planet’s tenuous envelope of charged particles extending from about 80 to 1000 kilometres up and above “ There are definitely hints of something happening in the region of earthquakes before the earth moves”. Says Colin Price a geophysicist al Tel Aviv University Israel. . Seismo - ionospheric effects cover a variety of phenomenon starting from the bottom side of the ionosphere (D-layer) to upper ionosphere up to the magnetosphere: This involves the variations of plasma parameters, electromagnetic emissions in a large frequency ranges, perturbations of ionospheric layers, anomalies recorded in the VLF transmitter signals, night airglow observations etc. There appear macroscopic changes in the ionospheric parameters above future epicenters prior to the occurrence of earthquakes. They are the variation of ion composition, electron concentration, scale height, electron temperature etc which could be measured, experimentally from ground and various experiments onboard satellites. The lithosphere- atmosphere- ionosphere coupling is a very complicated subject involving a lot of physical effects and the interactions on all levels starting from underground up to the earth’s ionosphere. There is a natural divide in the subject reflected in the existence of two groups of scientists. One of them is involved in studies of seismo-eiectromagnetie phenomena expressed mainly in electromagnetic emissions and fields associated with seismic activity and another one dealing with ionospheric and space plasma variations observed before and after the earthquakes. The earth’s ionosphere is composed of partially ionized gases that envelop the earth and its regular behavior is interpreted in terms of solar and geomagnetic activity
Dry sliding wear behavior of Cryogenic treated 20MnCr5 alloy steel
This research is limited to study the wear resistance of cryogenically treated 20MnCr5 (SAE 5120) alloy steel, which has wide application in industries like gears, shafts, bearings, pins etc. Cryogenics is used as a supplement treatment that is performed after carburizing. The abrasive wear study is performed on pin-on-disc tribotester. The counterface disc was kept same for both the heat treatments (carburizing and cryogenics).Sliding velocity of 0.8 m/s, 1.6 m/s, 2.4 m/s, Sliding Distance of 1200 m, 1400 m, 1600 m and Load of 3 kg, 4 kg and 5 kg were used to evaluate the wear resistance

The mathematics of fuzzy or cloudy quantities which are not describable in terms of probability distributions. Indeed the need for such mathematics is becoming increasingly apartment even in the realm of inanimate systems, for in most practical cases the priori data as well as the criteria by which the performance of a man-made system is judged are far from being precisely specified or having accurately known probability distributions
Study and Assessment of Psychosocial Risks in Steel Industry
The steel industry has one of the highest rates of fatal and injuries every year. The work environment in the industry is fundamentally changing, bringing new challenges to the health and safety of employees. Work stress is regarded as an important topic in the field of work health because of its negative impacts on workers’ health and safety. It results from Long-term exposure to workplace psychosocial risks, characteristics of the work environment, work design, and organizational management which potentially cause psychological and social damages. These changes lead to new psychosocial risks. Such risks, which relate to the concept of allocation, organization and management of work, as well as their economic and social context, result in increased stress levels, which can lead to serious deterioration of mental and physical health, increased injury and reduced effectiveness. As a high hazardous industry, there is a need to investigate psychosocial factors that affect the occurrence of these accidents in order to helping us to be able to protect workers. The study has also developed specific actions to deal with, reduce the incidence and negative impact of psychosocial constraints on both workers and the company. The comprehensive review of the steel making industry has been done and appropriate remedial measures have been suggested as per “The EU Framework Directive on health and safety at work (89/391/EEC)”, “PAS 1010-2011, Guidance on the management of psychosocial risks in the workplace”

Packaging of food material is final stage in food industry. The life of the material packed is depending on the structure and quality of packaging. So there is need of precisions in the packaging, especially for the food material. In many industries for packaging of large quantity of material, metal containers are used. These containers cannot seal by plastic coating. So there is need of metal sealing by means of solder that container. This kind of packaging is done manually which create many problems. To overcome these problems, an approach has to be made to find a proper platform for the design and testing of the sealing projects which makes the packaging proper and perfect.In this proposed system, an invention made for solving a problem of packaging of metal containers in food industry. This Project details the mechanical design and software requirements. This paper describes the Automation done for the sealing the metal container to fulfill the industrial need
A STUDY TO ASSESS THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE STAFF NURSES REGARDING CARE OF UNCONSCIOUS PATIENTS IN A SELECTED HOSPITAL, MANGLORE
A study to assess the knowledge of staff nurses regarding care of unconscious patients who are working in a selected hospital Mangalore. The samples consisted of 80 registered staff nurses, selected by purposive sampling. The result revealed area wise analysis of staff nurses knowledge regarding care of unconscious patients shows the highest means of knowledge score was 5.32 which is around 59.16%of the total score for area on ‘care of skin’. The mean score for the area ‘fluid and electrolyte management’ was 3.41 which is around 68.25% of the total score of that area. The lowest mean score was .52 which is around 17.5 of total score of the area of ‘unconscious conditions’
