Deblurring of Video Sequences
Blurred video sequences are obtained due to defocusing. Current autofocus solutions are designed to ensure that captured images are in focus by adjusting lens position but it gets limited when the scene contains multiple objects with largely varying depths. So, a novel method for focusing an object is by using Depth from Defocus method for estimating depth of object. Multiple frames have been used to further improve system performance. A new method for blur estimation is developed using Multiple Frames by relationship between moving cameras and blur characteristic. This technique can be applied to inexpensive digital cameras that do not require sophisticated hardware, such as mobile phone and web camera. In real time the depth is estimated for the object(s) using single camera. The frame rate is 28 frames per second. Even blur radius is estimated and expressed in the form of graph with respect to number of frames

Insider Trading: An Indian Legal Perspective
The problem of Insider Trading has been bothering the debt and equity market for a long period of time, making the investors to feel unsafe in the securities market. Insider trading is an act through which an insider makes profit out confidential information which are not disclosed to any investor. An insider trader is always a very influential person who has a close connection to financial world. The mental element of an insider is significant because he is in position to dictate or at least influence when the public disclosure of price sensitive information is to be made. A certain person by virtue of their position being in more advantageous position than others with regard to price sensitive information. The main reason of passing insider trading laws is that the government wants to ensure that everyone involved in the stock market has equal information and that any information available to one active participant in the market is available to all participants.“There is no other kind of trading in India, but the insider variety” remarked a former president of the Bombay Stock Exchange in 1992. Insider trading has utterly no place in any fair-minded law-abiding economy - stated the then Securities Exchange Commission (“SEC”) Chairman Mr. Arthur Levitt in 1998. Between these two extreme quotes lies the entire debate on insider trading
Performance Analysis of Multilevel Inverter Upto XI Level With Pem Fuel Cell Based Energy System
Nowadays Renewable energy sources play a prominent role in the areas of research, due to exhaustion of conventional energy sources. The major available renewable energy sources are sunlight, wind energy and Fuel Cells. In this work Fuel cells were used as a source of energy for multilevel inverters instead of DC sources. Multilevel converters are very interesting solution for medium and high voltage applications, due to its characteristic to synthesize a sinusoidal voltage from several DC levels. The better topology for power quality and transmission system applications is the cascaded multilevel inverters. However, this topology presents a problem that consists of use of several DC sources or Fuel cell energy system. Nowadays multilevel inverters have a great relevance in transmission and distribution systems, due to its general structure which synthesizes a sinusoidal voltage in many voltages levels. Multilevel inverters generates an output signal with low THD, because of this the size of the output filter reduces, whose cut-off frequency depends on the modulation technique and the switching frequency used. In addition it can be possible to use PWM modulation over each step staircase voltage, generating a high PWM frequency output. The Topology-I of cascaded H-Bridge multilevel inverter is general type of 11 levels Multi Level Inverter (MLI)
Study of Model Predictive Control in Chemical Plant
Controlling a system and state constraints is one of the most important problems in control theory, but also one of the most challenging. Another important but just as demanding topic is robustness against uncertainties in a controlled system. One of the most successful approaches, both in theory and practice, to control constrained systems is model predictive control (MPC). The basic idea in MPC is to repeatedly solve optimization problems on-line to find an optimal input to the controlled system. In recent years, much effort has been spent to incorporate the robustness problem into this framework
Image Denoising Using First Order Neighborhood Mean Filter
In digital processing of image, image de-noising is to estimate a clean version of a given noisy image, utilizing prior knowledge of the statistics of natural images. The challenge of evaluating such limits is that constructing proper models of natural image statistics are a long standing and yet unsolved problem. To resolve this problem, this work aims to presentsthe new proposed algorithm to deal with the problems, namely, poor image enhancement at high noise density, which is frequently enhanced in the Improved Mean filter (IMF). In this paper Improved Mean Filtering is used for enhancing the peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR) and image enhancement factor (IEF) both. The performances of proposed ‘Improved Mean Filter’ (IMF) are quantitatively vies as well as the visual and human perception vies shows better result in both conditions as compared to other existing filters
Electrochemical study of Co3O4 Thin films prepared by simple Electrodeposition technique
Thin films of Co3O4 were deposited by electrodeposition on stainless steel plates by using different cobalt sources. Prepared thin film electrodes were characterized structurally and morphologically by X-ray diffraction and SEM reveals that Co3O4 has polycrystalline face centered cubic crystal structure. Scanning electron micrograph shows threaded type porous surface morphology. Supercapacitive characteristics of molar optimized Co3O4 thin films mainly results from pseudocapacitive origin. These films exhibit a maximum specific capacitance (SC) 110.11 F/g at the scan rate 2 mV/sec in 1 M KOH. Chronopotentiometry (CP) was used to calculate specific energy (SE), specific power (SP) and columbic efficiency (ŋ) in the range of current density 2 – 14 mA/cm2 and their values were 2.48 Wh/kg, 1.61 kW/kg and 99 % respectively. Impedance study was carried out in the frequency range 1 mHz to 1 MHz to determine different circuitry parameters associated with the cell
Design & Simulation of Analog Phase Lock Loop With Ring oscillators Using 0.18µm CMOS Technology
This brief discusses the challenges and present techniques in designing analog phase-locked loops in nanometer CMOS. Phase Locked Loops are used in every communication system. Some of its uses include recovering clock from digital data signals, performing frequency, phase modulation and demodulation, recovering the carrier from satellite transmission signals and as a frequency synthesizer. There are many designs in communication that require frequency synthesizer to generate a range of frequencies; such as cordless telephones, mobile radios and other wireless products. The accuracy of the required frequencies is very important in these designs as the performance is based on this parameter. One approach to this necessity could be to use crystal oscillators. It is not only impractical, but is impossible to use an array of crystal oscillators for multiple frequencies. Therefore some other techniques must be used to circumvent the problem. The main benefit of using Phase Locked Loop technique in frequency synthesizers that it can generate frequencies comparable to the accuracy of a crystal oscillator and offer other advantages mentioned previously. For this reason most of the communication design make use of a PLL frequency synthesizer. Considering the scope of this single circuit, Phase locked loop is an excellent research topic as it covers many disciplines of electrical engineering such as Communication Theory, Control Theory, Signal Analysis, Noise Characterization, design with transistors and op-Amps, Digital Circuit design and non-linear circuit analysis. I am using .35µm CMOS Technology. I am using microwave office tools (AWR) to implement this work

Analysis the Performance of Three Phase Inverter Using Hierarchical Control Methods in Microgrid
Microgrids (MGs) consists of Voltage Source Inverters (VSIs) which are parallel connected. In this paper the steps towards the stability of these MGs have been achieved. With this situation, this system is assured of two control levels using hierarchical control scheme for the parallel operated VSI system. In order to enhance the stability of voltage and frequency of microgrid, several control methods are used. The droop method pursues the virtual impedance loops composed of primary control. The unified Phase Shift Modulation (PSM) technique renovates the frequency and amplitude deviations twisted by the droop method composed of secondary control. This technique regulates the phase and magnitude of voltage which can be analyzed based on zero crossings of the voltage and also available for connecting the main grid to the MG. Simulation results are provided not only to be acquainted with the good frequency as well as enhancing the voltage amplitude which enhances the stability of the Microgrid (MG) control system. Comparative results between the synchronization algorithm and Unified Phase Shift Modulation (PSM) technique shows which technique which attains the stable frequency quickly by comparing the two techniques
