    Geometrical Study of 2D Method of Characteristics (MOC) Nozzle

    This paper examines the effect of varying the number of characteristic lines on the design of MOC nozzle at 10, 20, 50, 100, and 200 numbers of characteristic lines at Mach numbers 1.3,1.5 and 1.65.It was observed that as the number of characteristic lines increases, the length and height of the nozzle increases.Numerical flow simulation of the nozzle for a Mach number of 1.5 wasdone using ANSYS FLUENT 15.0. It was observed that at higher number of characteristic lines, for Mach number 1.5, the pressure and Mach number are close to theoretical values

    Data mining (DM) brings theories from several field including databases and optimization and data visualizations and has been applied to various real-life applications. In digital computer forensic analysis, hundreds of thousands of files are saving into the digital formats; these files are usually in the unstructured textual data format and analysis of that unstructured data is very difficult to examine by computer examiners. In this paper, we build a system for grouping an document clustering method for grouping whole data into cluster format. We present an approach that applies document clustering algorithms to forensic analysis of computers used in police investigations. In data mining, document Clustering is based on K-means and K-medoid algorithm for clustering the documents by using centroid data point. Here we provide security to our database server

    Impact of an IEC package on Nuclear, Biological & Chemical warfare for Nurses in the Armed Forces India

    Emergency preparedness and response capability to meet any emergency situation arising out of a nuclear, biological and a chemical (NBC) warfare is based upon knowledge regarding their cause, effects, methods of detection and decontamination methods. This necessitates creating awareness through proper training especially for the nursing personnel. A quasi-experimental study was conducted. A baseline data on knowledge and preparedness levels of the B.Sc. nursing cadets of College of Nursing , AFMC, Pune and nursing officers of three Military hospitals of Pune, with regards to Nuclear, Biological and Chemical warfare and its management was collected using a structured  pretest tool. Based on the information obtained, information, education and communication (IEC) package on NBC warfare and its management was designed. Percentage scoring and Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test was used for statistical analysis. Findings suggested that the nursing officers and the nursing cadets improved on their knowledge level as well preparedness level. Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test carried out showed that there was a significant change (p<0.01) in all the three areas of the topic ie nuclear, biological and chemical warfare and its management after the study population underwent the educational session

    The Effect of Copper and Brass on Friction Stir Welded Dissimilar Aluminium Alloy When Used in Thin Sheet Form

    In recent year’s aluminium and aluminium alloys are most widely used in many applications because of light weight, good formability and malleability, corrosion resistance, moderate strength and low cost. Friction Stir Welding (FSW) process is an efficient and cost-effective method for welding aluminium and aluminium alloys. FSW is a solid-state welding process that means the material is not melted during the process. Complete welding process accomplishes below the melting point of materials so it overcomes many welding defects that usually happens with conventional fusion welding technique which was initially used for low melting materials. Though this process is initially developed for low melting materials but now the process is widely used for a variety of other materials including titanium, steel and also for composites. The present butt jointed FSW experimental work has been done in two ways. Initially, a comparison of tensile properties of friction stir (FS) welded similar aluminium alloy (AA6351 with AA6351) and dissimilar aluminium alloy (AA6351 with AA5083) combinations. Later the effect of impurities (copper and brass) in sheet form (0.1 mm thick) when used as an insert in between two dissimilar aluminium (AA6351 with AA5083) alloy plates during FSW. Tensile tests were performed for these combinations and results were compared for with and without using strip material (copper and brass)

    World population continues to grow and is predicted to reach about nine billion in2050. The demand for agricultural produce will continue to grow, needing to double the production by 2050, driven by population growth and changing food habits. Agriculture is the backbone on Indian Economy. Agricultural development is a condition precedent for the overall development of the economy. The development of agriculture since the very beginning of the planning era in India was not at all surprising. The new seed-fertilizer technology introduced in the irrigated states in the North Western during the mid 1960s, gradually spread to new areas called Green Revolution is characterize by use HYV (High Yielding Variety) seeds, chemical, fertilizer, pesticides, and machination of Agriculture such as use of tractor, combined harvester etc. However, the production of agricultural sector has been increasing due to Green Revolution but it creates obstacles in the maintaining the sustainability of environment.. This study is based on primary data collected from 100 respondents of Gaurisagar  of  Block of Sivvasagar District(Assam)  by using descriptive survey method. The objective of the paper is to find out the awareness level of the respondent regarding the environmental degradation caused by GR and the role of the Government, NGOs etc in maintaining the sustainability of the environment

Vortex tube (VT) is non-conventional cooling equipment, having no moving parts which are capable of separating hot and cold air stream form an inlet air stream with a proper pressure without affecting the environment. The purpose of this paper is to present working principle of vortex tube, temperature (energy) separation phenomenon and geometrical parameters like nozzle, orifice and L/D ratio of vortex tube and calculating coefficient of performance (COP) compare with CFD analysis and calculate percentage of error of vortex tube

    A vehicle tracking system (VTS) can determine the location of a  Vehicle using smartphone and displays the point on a map. In recent times, technologies like tracking vehicles have introduced some advanced features in many areas. A GPS based vehicle tracking system merges the installation of a device in a vehicle, or a group of vehicles to enable the owner or collect data in the process from the field and also deliver it to the base of the operation. Such tracking systems can notify you the location and route travelled by a particular vehicle, and that information can be observed from any Smart phone. The system enables us to track target in any weather conditions. Technologies like GPS and GSM are used. It includes the hardware part which comprises of GPS, GSM and software part is used for interfacing all the required modules. Main objective is to design a system that can be easily installed and also provide a platform for further enhancement. It is incredible to know how straight forward ideas can give a entire new facet to the tracking and navigation engineering and vehicle tracking system is used for tracking the vehicles. We can get optimize driver routes. At times it is not required to track your vehicle or target globally but in majority of cases, tracking is more restricted to local purposes only for tracking movement of vehicle within city, tracking the raw materials within industrialized domain or to know the present position of your daughter or son within city. But unfortunately in the chase of making things difficult this simple idea is forgotten. Therefore a simple yet powerful idea forms the basis of this revolutionary project. All this together with a very low cost, a strong design and significant market prospective makes the model even more attractive

Wireless communication suffers from various problems like Co-Channel Interference (CCI) and Channel Estimation Error (CEE). Cooperative communication is an efficient technique to deal with these types of problems by offering significant multiplexing and diversity gains without increasing power and bandwidth. Our proposed two way relaying helps to improve the overall system performance in wireless networks. Cooperative communications also deals with the various problems like fading and shadowing. It is further investigated that proposed two way relaying is spectrally efficient technique which provides a way to surmount half duplexing loss in one way relay channel
