Swarm Intelligence Based Data Mart Maintenance
Data mart is the concise and user specific version of data warehouse. It is basically a confined data warehouse for manipulator to access data of his interest. The data within data mart is used to make strategic decision which relies severely on the accurate repossession of details. Therefore it is essential to brush up the data mart periodically so that the end user gets updated and accurate information. To accomplish this purpose, an efficient and effective method is required for optimizing the process of maintenance. This paper presents an algorithm to maintain the data mart using ant colony optimization. This algorithm uses the concept of clustering and meta-heuristic techniques to maintain and search the element in the data mart. The paper discusses the proposed algorithm for protein data bank and shows the effectiveness of the algorithm to maintain the data mart. The searching time is the main issue of concern. The technique described in the paper reduces the search time effectively

Accreditation in the Republic of Sudan is a means to assure and improve higher educational quality, assisting institutions and programs using a set of standards developed by peers. An organization or program that has successfully completed an accreditation process has in place the needed instructional, student support and other necessary serviced to help the students to achieve their educational goals and objectives. Accreditation has helped the institution and society as a whole to provide the conditions necessary for Sudan to develop diverse, flexible, robust and often admired higher education. Accreditation is either a process or a status. It is the process of reviewing educational institutions (schools, colleges, universities, institutions and programs) to judge their educational quality and how well they serve the students and society. The results of the process, if successful are provided with the award of accreditated status. Optimization of Area, Power & Delay By Using Efficient Digit Serial FIR Filter
In the endure three decades, number of active rule for solving a problem in step and constructions have been introduced for the design of low complexity bit-parallel multiple constant multiplications (MCM) operation which explain the difficulty of different digital signal processing systems. Instead small debate has been given to the digit-serial MCM design that gives low complexity MCM operations although at the cost of rising delay. In this paper, we pitch the problem of minimizing the gate-level area in digit-serial MCM designs and present high-level synthesis algorithms, design constructions, and a computer aided design tool. Experimental outcomes show the efficiency of the given optimization algorithms and of the digit-serial MCM architectures in the design of digit-serial MCM operations and finite impulse response filters. Dynamic Analysis and Design of Motorcycle Mounting System Subjected to Road Loads
This paper presents a comprehensive model of a motorcycle mounting system. The model presented herein consists of two main assemblies. The powertrain assembly and the swing-arm assembly are modeled as a six degree of freedom rigid bodies. The two assemblies are connected to each other using a shaft that is usually referred to as the coupler. The connection points on both assemblies are known.Unlike automobiles, motorcycle performance and handling is highly affected by the external disturbance. In addition to minimizing the shaking loads, the mounting system must be set up such that it also minimizes the external disturbance from the environment such as irregularities in the road profile and road bumps. This disturbance can be transmitted through the tire patch to the engine causing it to hit nearby components. The engine movement needs to be minimized due to space limitations surrounding the engine. In order to do so, these transmitted external loads must be minimized by the use of the mounting system. The load minimization process is achieved by selecting the optimum stiffness parameters, location and orientation of the mounting system that are supporting the engine. This goal is achieved by an optimization scheme that guarantees that the transmitted loads are minimized. An investigation will be done to explore the effect of different road profiles on the mount final geometrical shape
Step Down Converter With Efficient ZVS Operation
Step down converters has many applications in modern electronic devices. For these purposes, circuits have voltage/current requirements outside the efficient range of most classical converters. Therefore there was an urge for development of new converter topologies. Converters employing soft switching methods were emerged as an efficient alternative while considering the switching losses of a conventional converter. Here modifications are made on conventional buck converter. An auxiliary switch, a diode, and a coupled winding to the buck inductor are added with the conventional buck converter. By transferring the buck inductor current to the coupled winding in a very short period, a negative built-up of leakage inductor current in buck winding is achieved, which guarantees the Zero- Voltage Switching (ZVS) operation of the buck switch in all load conditions. Furthermore, since the negatively built-up leakage inductor current is minimized after the zero voltage of the buck switch is achieved; the unnecessary current build-up and the conduction loss are minimized. Therefore, a converter with efficient ZVS operation with load variation is achieved. To verify the performance of this topology, simulations are done using MATLAB or SIMULINK
Establishment of energy audit and management for mechanical and electrical systems
Energy plays a central role in all organizations, especially those that are energy intensive. A detailed energy audit and management is carried out to establish energy balances for Terminal Technologies (I) Pvt. Ltd., Pune. Energy usage before installation of recommendations was 1,095,630 kWh/year for a period from February 2015 to January 2016. By implementing recommendations like VFDs, contract demand reduction and maximizing the power factor incentive, it is concluded that the total energy saving potential of 193,098 kWh per year is possible. Hence the total savingof Rs. 16.47 Lakhs per year is possible with initial investment of Rs. 5.67 Lakhs with overall payback period of 4-5 months
Language learning and Language acquisition; What do the Learners Prefer?
The aim of this study is to evaluate learning and acquisition strategies used by second language learners of Engineering College Students in Tamilnadu State. This study is a comparative investigation of learning and acquisition strategies of successful and less successful language learners. Why some learners become less successful in language learning while others become more successful is a common question in this area. Although there are many different reasons, one of them is related with “strategies” of the learners. The study presents an analysis of a research to capture second language learners’ learning strategies in terms of acquisition and learning. Two hundred and twenty undergraduate higher education students were participated in the study. They were grouped in two parts as “Successful learners” and “less successful Learners” learners. The learners’ levels were based on their scores in a standardized test administered at the beginning of their College. These findings have important implications for College Professors,School Teachers, instructors and program designers to develop and practice different language strategies in order to have more successful students. At the end of the study, some suggestions were submitted to foreign language learners and secondary language learners also
Sorption Characterization of Crab Shell Chitin Whisker Reinforced Phenol Formaldehyde Nanocomposites
The crab shell chitin diffusion characteristics are studied for their characterization [1].Solvent absorption of chitin reinforced composites is one major concern in the field biomedical applications, especially in tissue engineering for drug delivery. Traditionally diffusion characteristics of chitin whisker embedded in Phenolic matrix are studied to understand their mechanism of solvent absorption and to find the relationship between the microscopic structure and the solvent absorption of the composites. The purpose of this study is to facilitate for understanding the behavior of nano chitin loading into the polymer like phenolic composites. The solvent absorption behavior of composites with different fiber loadings percentage by weight was investigated. At a critical chitin fiber loading is reported where the diffusion process is found to be dominant
Bio-Medical Application of Wireless Power Transmission System
This paper presents the wireless power transmission system is separated into three main components, the transceiver, the inductive coils and the RF/DC converter. Simple examines were done to check the model and simulations were done to display the benefit of wireless power transmission which also avoids accidents related to large wires and no adequate grounding. To increase the quality of diagnosis, some main specifications such as image resolution, frame rate and working time need to be developed. Moreover, future multi-functioning robotic capsule endoscopy units may consume advanced features such as energetic system control over capsule motion, drug delivery systems, semi-surgical tools and biopsy. However, the addition of the above innovative features demands extrapower that makes conventional power source methods are difficult. In this regards, wireless power transmission system has received attention among researchers to overcome this problem.
