Shariah Requirements versus Contemporary Economics Realities: Influx of Muslim Beggars in Sabon-Zongo Accra
This study explores the phenomenon of begging with a particular focus on Shariah Requirements Versus Contemporary Economics Realities: Influx of Muslim Beggars in Sabon-Zongo Accra. Overall, the study contributes towards filling the enormous gap in the literature on begging in Muslim communities in Ghana and adds other dimensions to the phenomenon of both child and adult begging in general demonstrating the complexity and different facades of the phenomenon. The methodology employed was qualitative, whilst structured interview as a method was used in gathering the necessary information needed for this article. In discussing the findings, the article analyses how this practice works and seeks to gain insight into the interrelationships of the children with their adult partners both at the family levels and at the street level as well as the implications of these interrelationships on the level of agency and vulnerability of the children involved. More importantly, the article highlights the experiences and voices of beggars by looking at the economic realities and the role Islam plays alleviating the plights of beggars. It also highlights the processes that lead to the manifestation of the phenomenon as we see it; that is, why are children used as partners and not adults, and how that is influenced and shaped by power relations and the society’s understanding of what is right and wrong for the child

Economic growth has contracted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on the history of previous economic and financial crises, the banking sector is one of the most sensitive sectors during a crisis. Investors consider these conditions for their investment decisions. This paper aims to find the factors that determine the stock price of Islamic banking on three observation variables: profit, debt equity ratio (DER), and cash flow from operating (CFO). This study used a quantitative approach with secondary data sources from financial statements and company stock prices. The sample was selected purposively from Islamic banking stocks listed on the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI). Data analysis used panel data regression using the E-Views 10 application. The findings of this study are that earnings and DER significantly determine the share price of Islamic banking based on a partial test. Profit has a positive effect, while DER has a negative impact. These findings illustrate that expectations for investment in Islamic banking stocks remained stable during the pandemic. The company\u27s fundamental factors determine the demand for Islamic bank shares
The Interpersonal Communication of Prophet Muhammad in Dialogic Hadiths

Epistemological Reason of Islamic Psychology: Discourse Analysis of the Development of Islamic Psychology Studies in Indonesia
This paper aims to describe the development of Islamic psychology studies in Indonesia and find an epistemological framework developed by Islamic psychology experts in Indonesia. By utilizing the discourse analysis approach, this study has succeeded in showing that the development of Islamic Psychology studies in Indonesia can be said to be quite dynamic and productive. The reviewers and pioneers of discourse on Islamic Psychology, with their differing backgrounds, have sought to lay the epistemological foundation for the development of Islamic Psychology in the country. The development of Islamic psychology has been pursued through two patterns, namely idealistic patterns and pragmatic (realistic) patterns. Epistemologically, the discourse of Islamic Psychology in Indonesia is characterized by three approaches to understanding the human soul, namely the bayani approach; those with thematic interpretations, speculative philosophical-rational approaches, and a sufistic (irfani) approach that look more closely at the problem of the human soul are based on the spiritual experience of Sufism experts. The three approaches are taken to be able to understand the human soul as a whole. Departing from these three approaches, Islamic Psychology experts in Indonesia then succeeded in formulating various methods that can be taken to produce Islamic Psychology studies that are expected to answer the challenges of Muslims in Indonesia. However, the study of Islamic psychology in Indonesia tends to still be dominated by the epistemological style of bayani and irfani. The burhani approach, even though it has been used, but still tends to attempt to formulate philosophical concepts and soar. This approach has not yet been translated into empirical and applicative research methods (tajribi)
