INTEGRATING MOBILE-ASSISTED LANGUAGE LEARNING (MALL) IN TEACHING EFL OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLS IN JEMBER REGENCY
No full textTechnology plays a pivotal role in shaping human life, impacting various sectors, including education, where teachers use cell phones and internet resources to enhance student engagement and learning. The use of technology, particularly mobile devices, has revolutionized learning by providing access to diverse digital materials, promoting lifelong learning, and facilitating cooperative knowledge exchange. While technology offers numerous opportunities to enhance learning experiences, challenges persist, such as the limited utilization of engaging media in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) instruction. Teachers' lack of digital skills and students' excessive mobile phone use pose obstacles to effective technology integration, leading to distractions and poor academic performance. Despite these challenges, Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL) has shown promise in promoting interactive English language exercises and improving language proficiency by offering flexible learning environments. The study used an explorative case study that aims to identify the digital learning platforms used by teachers in teaching English skills especially receptive skills (Reading and Listening) and productive skills (Speaking and Writing ). The data was taken from the interview. It was analyzed using thematic analysis and member checking to validate. From the findings, some of the platforms that can be used in learning English include Google Browser, VOA Learning English, BBC Learning English, Newsela and Google Sites used in learning Reading skills. As for learning listening skills, there are YouTube, TED-Ed, Nearpod and Podcasts. In teaching speaking skills, there are YouTube, Google Drive, HelloTalk, Duolingo, WhatsApp and Zoom. For teaching writing skills, you can use platforms such as Instagram, Google Products, Jamboard, Hemingway Editor, Facebook and WhatApps. Some of the findings related to challenges include teachers' unfamiliarity with digital platforms, big size class, and limited supporting equipment. Meanwhile, the strategies include participating in MGMP activities, seminars, webinars and implementing collaborative/group learning and using multimedia laboratories, free platforms and the internet (hotspots). Through the effective integration of technology, educators can create dynamic, personalized learning experiences that foster student engagement and drive academic success

Based on the research conducted, researchers used quantitative descriptive research. In collecting data using a questionnaire that has been made by the researcher. This research uses probability sampling, which is a sampling method that has the same opportunity for each component (member) of the population to be selected as a sample member. And simple random sampling is used to refer to how to randomly select members of the population and will be sampled without regard to levels or strata. In this study, the theory used is the S-O-R theory (Stimulus - Organism - Response). So it can be concluded that the results of this study are testing the results of the data that researchers have obtained from distributing questionnaires to subjects trusted by researchers. the value obtained by the researcher provides an illustration that video uploads on social media act as a medium for delivering messages that can bring up dimensions such as problem recognition, information search, decision making, and decision making

No full textThis research will discuss Indonesia's cultural diplomacy strategy in the Miss Grand International 2022 beauty pageant held in Bali and Jakarta. Indonesia is known for its cultural diversity and natural riches, making Indonesia one of the international tourist destinations. Since the Covid-19 pandemic emerged, Indonesia's tourism conditions have experienced disruption due to the applicable health protocol policies, thus causing the Indonesian economy and tourism sectors to also be affected. Holding Miss Grand International in 2022 in Indonesia is useful for helping restore Indonesia's economic and tourism conditions which have been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. By using cultural diplomacy and the concept of multi-track diplomacy, this research argues that holding international events in Indonesia has an impact on Indonesia's economic recovery and tourism in 2022 through Indonesian cultural diplomacy and tourism, making it easy to achieve the goals of Indonesian cultural diplomacy. By using descriptive qualitative methods, this research contributes to explaining Indonesia's cultural diplomacy efforts in the Miss Grand International 2022 event which will be held in Indonesia with the hope of helping to restore Indonesia's economy and tourism, as well as building a positive image of Indonesia after the Covid-19 pandemic

No full textThe problem of land certificates is a concern of the government because there are still land disputes in the area either between residents with residents, residents with the government, or residents with private companies. The problem cannot be resolved because of the absence of the land certificate. For this reason, the government continues to accelerate the process of obtaining land certificates in order to reduce conflicts over land disputes and targets the year 2025 the entire territory of the Republic of Indonesia has been certified. The type of method that the author lists is the empirical legal research method, empirical legal research that is by utilising empirical facts that can be obtained through human behaviour. This fact includes characters obtained from direct observation in the field. This research is based on data obtained from interviews and data that has been obtained directly, as well as from other data sources. The legal security of land assets of the Sukoharjo Regency Government and the Wonogiri Regency Government is in accordance with Government Regulation Number 27 of 2014 concerning Management of State / Regional Property and Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 19 of 2016 concerning Management of Regional Property. the two governments are processing the certification of their land assets by making Regional Regulations & Regent Regulations, the authorised leader makes a policy in the form of an Agreement with the Land Office, targets the completion of the certification of their land assets, provides a budget adjusted to the Regional Government's financial capacity, provides facilities and infrastructure, assigns employees, and provides storage. The Sukoharjo Regency and Wonogiri Regency Governments are targeting the completion of land certification by 2025. The Sukoharjo Regency and Wonogiri Regency Governments assign sufficient employees to safeguard their land assets, if necessary give training on safeguarding land assets, conduct an inventory of their land assets. If buying and selling, exchanging or grants with other parties, the minutes should be made, as a basis for certifying / changing names

No full textForced child marriage by parents remains a significant issue in Indonesia. This phenomenon violates children's rights, including the right to education, health, and protection from violence, and contradicts the principles of justice and legal protection. This study aims to analyze the normative juridical aspects of forced child marriage by parents and its impact on the protection of children's rights in Indonesia. The research problems addressed include how Indonesian law regulates forced marriage and the legal consequences arising from forced child marriage by parents. This study employs a normative juridical approach by examining legislation, legal doctrines, and case studies. Primary, secondary, and tertiary legal materials were collected through library research and analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The findings reveal that forced child marriage violates Law No. 1 of 1974 and Law No. 16 of 2019 on Marriage, Law No. 12 of 2022 on Sexual Violence Crimes, Law No. 35 of 2014 on Child Protection, and the Compilation of Islamic Law. The legal implications of forced child marriage are: (1) Under the Marriage Law, such marriages can be annulled; (2) Under the Sexual Violence Crimes Law, perpetrators may face criminal penalties, including imprisonment or fines;
(3) Under the Child Protection Law, it constitutes a violation of children's rights; and (4) Under the Compilation of Islamic Law, the marriage is deemed invalid

ekstrak dari mahkota nanas, biji dan kulit papaya terhadap kadar MCHC dan MCV sapi
peranakan Ongole. Anthelmintik alami diberikan sebagai alternatif ramah lingkungan
terhadap anthelmintik sintetis. Sebanyak sembilan ekor sapi PO sebagai objek
eksperimen dibagi menjadi tiga kelompok perlakuan, yaitu kontrol tanpa anthelmintik
(P0), pemberian mahkota nanas (P1), serta perlakuan pemberian kulit dan biji papaya
(P2). Pakan pokok yang diberikan terdiri atas hijauan dan konsentrat sesuai kebutuhan
ternak, pada perlakuan P1 dan P2 diberi tambahan anthelmintik alami sebanyak 200
gr/ekor/hari selama penelitian. Data kadar MCHC dan MCV diukur sebelum dan
sesudah perlakuan (hari ke 30, 45, dan 60) menggunakan metode hematologi standar.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kadar MCHC pada ke-3 perlakuan menunjukkan nilai
normal. Jumlah MCHC tertinggi diperoleh pada P1 sebanyak 33,3 g/dL, sementara
terendah pada P2, yaitu 32,5 g/dL. Jumlah kadar MCV pada ke-3 perlakuan
menunjukkan penurunan dibandingkan kontrol. Jumlah MCV tertinggi diperoleh pada
P0 sebanyak 42,40 fl, sementara terendah pada P1, yaitu 35,53 fl

No full textPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang mengenai karakter guru yang ideal. Dalam konteks pendidikan, guru berkarakter diharapkan tidak hanya mengajar materi, tetapi juga menjadi teladan bagi peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa angkatan 2020 dan 2021 yang telah mengikuti praktik mengajar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa memiliki beberapa kriteria utama yang dianggap penting dalam karakter guru, antara lain integritas, empati, dan komunikasi yang baik, selain itu mahasiswa juga menilai bahwa guru yang memiliki karakter positif dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif. PENGEMBANGAN GAME EDUKASI WORDWALL SEBAGAI ALAT EVALUASI PADA MATERI ALJABAR
No full textThe reseach is develop a technology-based mathematics evaluation tool, namely the Wordwall educational game, for Algebra material. This research employs the ADDIE development model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Validation by media experts indicates a validity level of 88%, while validation by subject matter experts shows a validity level of 92%. Furthermore, practicality and attractiveness validation by educators and students revealed scores of 93% from educators and 91% from students. In addition, testing conducted on small groups showed that 7 out of 9 students demonstrated improved answers in the larger group trial. This evidence proves that the Wordwall educational game is not only valid, practical, and engaging but also effectively enhances students' understanding of algebra. Therefore, the Wordwall educational game is highly recommended as an evaluation tool for algebra material in Class VII-A at Muhammadiyah Boarding School Tarakan

No full textThis research aims to analyze students' mathematical communication abilities in solving AKMI numerical literacy problems, as viewed from their mathematical skills. This qualitative descriptive study involves 15 fifth-grade students at MIS AS SUNNAH Kediri. A mathematics ability test was used to classify students into high, medium, and low groups, from which 2 students were selected from each group as research subjects. Subsequently, these 6 students were given AKMI numerical literacy tests and interviews to assess their mathematical communication abilities. The results show that there are 4 categories of communication abilities: (1) Low-ability students with moderate written mathematical communication scores of 44.44 and 61.11; (2) Medium-ability students with moderate written mathematical communication scores of 61.11; (3) Medium-ability students with high written mathematical communication scores of 83.33; (4) High-ability students with high written mathematical communication scores of 88.88 and 100

No full textIntroduction: Schizophrenia is a mental disorder that causes distortion in thought patterns, which then results in very unusual thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that can lead to violent behavior. Handling violent behavior uses a strategy for implementing violent behavior in addition to music therapy which is a relaxation technique to reduce aggression, provide calm, improve and maintain patient health, regulate emotions, and cure psychological disorders. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of music therapy in reducing emotions and aggression in violent behavior patients.
Methods: This study used a case study design on a patient Mr. S aged 49 years with violent behavior at UPT. Social Rehabilitation Bina Laras Pasuruan. Music therapy was carried out for two consecutive days, each for 5 minutes. The SOAP evaluation observation sheet from the psychiatric nursing assessment format provided by the University of Muhammadiyah Malang, Faculty of Health Sciences and the Indonesian Nursing Outcome Standards (SLKI) were used for observation before and after the intervention was given.
Results: The results of the study showed that after being given SP-1 to SP-4 and music therapy, subjective data from the patient stated that he was able to control his emotions and the patient also stated that he was able to control violent behavior by carrying out scheduled daily activities.
Conclusion: Providing music therapy is effective in reducing verbalization of swearing, but the limited facilities owned by the UPT and the lack of follow-up or further observation that can be carried out by the UPT afterwards are obstacles to the continuation of providing this music therapy
