    This research aims to identify the messages of political violence conveyed in Kompas.com's January 2024 edition, ahead of the 2024 General Election. Political violence is a phenomenon that often occurs before elections in Indonesia, and the mass media plays an important role in shaping public opinion regarding these events. This study uses a qualitative side analysis method to examine the news related to political violence involving presidential candidate volunteers and state apparatus. The focus of the research lies on analyzing political violence messages conveyed through the media. The results of this study indicate that the message of political violence in the January 2024 edition of Kompas.com news includes physical, psychological, and symbolic violence. Physical violence involves the use of force, such as clashes and attacks on individuals. Psychological violence takes the form of threats and intimidation that create fear, while symbolic violence refers to the destruction, vandalism, or harassment of symbols that have a certain meaning, be it in the form of flags, posters, or images that symbolize political identity, parties, or individuals. These three forms of violence had a significant impact on the political process and public perception, creating fear, disrupting emotional stability, and exacerbating social polarization in the run-up to the election

    E-commerce systems are widely used as online transaction applications that can facilitate the buying and selling process. This research aims to design and implement a webbased buying and selling application using the Laravel framework which is connected to the Android application using the Flutter framework using API. The method used in this research is the prototype method which includes gathering requirements, making prototypes, and testing prototypes, which is then continued with the implementation of the prototype design results into the system, and testing the system using blackbox and UAT (user acceptance test). The results showed that the system built was able to fulfill and in accordance with user needs such as managing buyer and seller data by the admin, managing goods by sellers, and purchasing goods by buyers. The implementation of this system is expected to be able to overcome the problems faced by the Tamiajeng village government in overseeing all Tamiajeng village MSME players

    This research aims to analyze the influence of the Problem-Based Learning learning model with an open-ended approach on students' critical thinking skills and communication skills in science subjects at MTs Negeri 2 Lembata. The research uses quantitative methods with a quasi-experimental design involving an experimental class and a control class. The instruments used include critical thinking skills tests and communication skills observation sheets. The research results show that the PBL model with an open-ended approach has a significant influence on improving students' critical thinking and communication skills. The average posttest score of students in the experimental class showed a significant increase compared to the control class. The open-ended approach gives students the freedom to explore various solutions to problems, which not only improves understanding of concepts but also trains their ability to convey ideas in a logical and structured manner. This research concludes that the PBL model with an open-ended approach is an effective learning strategy for improving 21st century skills, especially critical thinking and communication. Further research is recommended to examine the application of this method to other subjects and explore the integration of technology as a learning support medium

    Corruption as a crime that is still very high in Indonesia has caused the country to experience many losses in terms of budget and time. One of the government's efforts to eradicate corruption is by means of Confiscation of Asets Proceedings of Corruption. The focus of this research is on the Comparative Study of the Regulation of Confiscation of Corruption Asets Based on Due Process of Law Between Indonesia and the United States. The problems discussed in this study are 1) How are the problems of regulating aset confiscation based on Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption? 2) How is the comparison of aset confiscation regulations between Indonesia and the United States? The purpose of this study is to determine and examine the problems of regulating the confiscation of corruption asets contained in positive regulations in Indonesia and their comparison with the United States. In this study, it was found that there were significant differences between Indonesia and America. That Indonesia still places aset confiscation as an additional optional criminal offense, while America has fully implemented the concept of aset confiscation regulations based on UNCAC. In addition, there are advantages and disadvantages to each of these regulations. The research method used in this study is normative juridical, where research is conducted by finding legal facts based on existing legal norms. The conclusions and suggestions in this study are that aset confiscation in Indonesia is an additional optional criminal offense. While America has implemented Non Conviction Based, where law enforcement is more focused on the process of returning asets than on criminalization. So the government and legislative institutions must change the aset confiscation regulations to be harmonized with UNCAC. And the government must form implementing regulations for Law Number 7 of 2006 concerning the Ratification of UNCAC so that it can be implemented effectively and comprehensively

    Pembuatan E-Commerce Berbasis Website Dengan Sistem Rekomendasi Content-Based Filtering

    E-commerce has grown rapidly, providing convenience for consumers to shop online. However, with its growth, many users face difficulties in finding products that match their needs and preferences amidst a vast array of options. One solution to this problem is the implementation of recommendation systems that help users quickly and efficiently discover relevant products. This study aims to build an e-commerce website for Herva ID, a local fashion company specializing in women's apparel, by implementing a recommendation system using the Content-Based Filtering method. This method allows for more personalized and relevant product recommendations for each user by analyzing product attributes that users have previously viewed or purchased. Using Content-Based Filtering in the early stages of development proves to be more efficient compared to other methods, such as Collaborative Filtering or Hybrid Filtering, which require greater complexity. The recommendation system can help customers find products that match their style and preferences, while also improving operational efficiency and increasing sales for Herva ID. With the e-commerce application equipped with a recommendation system, Herva ID can enhance the customer shopping experience and strengthen customer relationships, ultimately supporting business growth. Overall, the implementation of a Content-Based Filtering recommendation system can be an effective strategic step in the development of e-commerce within the local fashion sector

    This research aims to analyze the type and functions of code-mixing that are spoken by Cinta Laura and Nessie Judge in Nerror YouTube content. This research focused on two research objectives. First, is to know the code-mixing types used by Cinta Laura and Nessie Judge. Second, is to identify the functions of code-mixing used by Cinta Laura and Nessie Judge. To collect data that was needed, researcher used content analysis methods and transcript instruments. The collected code mixing type shows that both subjects used code-mixing. Likely words insertion code-mixing, phrase insertion code-mixing, hybrid insertion code-mixing, repetition insertion code-mixing, idiom insertion code-mixing, and clause insertion code-mixing. While the function of code-mixing there is quotation function, addressee specifications function, message qualification function, repetition function, interjection function, personalization and objectification function, and facility expressions function

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis tingkat kepuasan penonton dalam menonton film di situs IDLIX, khususnya di kalangan mahasiswa Program Studi Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang. Situs IDLIX, sebagai platform streaming film daring yang semakin populer, menjadi pilihan utama bagi banyak mahasiswa dalam memenuhi kebutuhan hiburan mereka. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan instrumen kuesioner yang didistribusikan kepada mahasiswa Ilmu Komunikasi angkatan 2018. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan teori Uses and Gratifications, yang mengeksplorasi bagaimana individu memanfaatkan media untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tertentu, seperti hiburan, informasi, personal, sosial, dan relaksasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kepuasan penonton terhadap situs IDLIX dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor utama yaitu kebutuhan kognitif, afektif, personal, sosial, relaksasi dan pengalaman pengguna secara keseluruhan. Secara umum, mayoritas responden merasa tidak puas dengan layanan yang diberikan oleh situs IDLIX. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam memahami preferensi dan kebutuhan mahasiswa dalam mengakses platform streaming film daring, serta memberikan wawasan bagi para pengguna untuk lebih bijak dalam memilih sumber media

    Independent curriculum is a type of teaching that emphasizes learning stages that make it easier for students to understand. The urgency of the Pancasila student profile strengthening project activities in elementary schools includes: 1) building noble character, 2) developing student competencies, 3) developing creativity and self-confidence in students, 4) developing a sense of mutual respect. The implementation of the independent curriculum is the embodiment of the Pancasila student profile in advancing the development of students. The Pancasila student profile is called a project to strengthen the Pancasila student profile to support the needs of students in improving the quality of learning. SDN Percobaan 2 Malang carried out P5 activities by implementing the teaching at the right level (TaRL) approach. This study aims to determine: (1) the implementation of the TaRL approach in planning P5 at SDN Percobaan 2 Malang, (2) the implementation of the TaRL approach in implementing P5 at SDN Percobaan 2 Malang, and (3) the implementation of the TaRL approach in evaluating P5 at SDN Percobaan 2 Malang. This study uses qualitative research and the type of research conducted is descriptive. This study was conducted at SDN Percobaan 2 Malang which focused on class IVA, IVB, IVC, IVD teachers, and students. In its implementation, researchers carry out observation, interview and documentation activities to obtain data. Research data analysis goes through four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. Checking the validity of data using two techniques, namely source triangulation and technical triangulation. The research results obtained showed that class IVA – IVD of SDN Percobaan 2 Malang had implemented the TaRL approach in P5 activities. The theme used at SDN Percobaan 2 Malang is a sustainable lifestyle. All stages in the P5 activity implement the characteristics of the TaRL approach according to the abilities of the students which are linked to the activities in the P5 activity

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui dan menguji pengaruh e-service quality terhadap perilaku pembelian, online customer rating terhadap perilaku pembelian, celebrity endorse memoderasi pengaruh e-service quality terhadap perilaku pembelian, online customer rating terhadap perilaku pembelian, celebrity endorse memoderasi pengaruh online customer rating terhadap perilaku pembelian dan celebrity endorse terhadap perilaku pembelian customer aplikasi shopee. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah explanatory research, dengan populasi mahasiswa yang menggunakan marketplace Shopee yang dibuktikan dengan memiliki aplikasi marketplace Shopee dan memiliki riwayat dari aktivitas berbelanja yang dilakukan dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 323 responden. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh signifikan antara service quality terhadap perilaku pembelian customer aplikasi Shopee. Adanya pengaruh signifikan antara online customer rating terhadap perilaku pembelian customer aplikasi Shopee. Celebrity endorse tidak memoderasi pengaruh online customer rating terhadap perilaku pembelian customer aplikasi Shopee. Celebrity endorse tidak memoderasi pengaruh e-service quality terhadap perilaku pembelian customer aplikasi Shopee dan tidak adanya pengaruh signifikan antara celebrity endorser terhadap perilaku pembelian customer aplikasi Shopee

    DIVERSIFIKASI KELEMBAGAAN PENDIDIKAN ISLAM (STUDI KASUS DI MADRASAH TAHFIDZUL QUR’AN NURUT TAUHID KABUPATEN LUWU)

    Diversifikasi kelembagaan pendidikan Islam merupakan upaya strategis untuk menghadapi tantangan globalisasi, dinamika sosial, dan kebutuhan masyarakat yang semakin berkembang akan pendidikan yang mengintegrasikan ilmu agama dan umum. Madrasah Tahfidzul Qur’an Nurut Tauhid Kabupaten Luwu menjadi salah satu lembaga yang menerapkan strategi ini untuk meningkatkan relevansi, daya saing, dan keberlanjutan institusinya. Langkah diversifikasi menjadi signifikan karena masyarakat modern membutuhkan lembaga pendidikan yang tidak hanya mengutamakan ilmu keagamaan tetapi juga membekali peserta didik dengan keterampilan umum yang sesuai dengan tuntutan zaman. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan latar belakang madrasah Tahfidzul Qur’an Nurut Tauhid melakukan deversifikasi kelembagaan (2) mendeskripsikan proses diversifikasi kelembagaan yang dilakukan di lembaga pendidikan madarasah Tahfidzul Qur’an Nurut Tauhid (3) mendeskripsikan dampak perkembangan kualitas madrasah Tahfidzul Qur’an Nurut Tauhid setelah melakukan diversifikasi kelembagaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Penelitian ini berlokasi di Madrasah Tahfidzul Qur’an Nurut Tauhid Kabupaten Luwu. Peneliti menerapkan tiga teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Aktivitas analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga langkah utama: kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan: Pertama, Madrasah Tahfidzul Qur'an Nurut Tauhid melakukan diversifikasi untuk mengatasi keterbatasan kompetensi siswa, menyesuaikan diri dengan globalisasi dan perkembangan IPTEK, serta memperbaiki kurikulum nasional agar sesuai dengan visi madrasah. Kedua, Proses diversifikasi meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengawasan, dan evaluasi. Evaluasi mencakup kesesuaian program baru dengan prinsip Islam, dampaknya pada kemampuan akademik, karakter, dan keterampilan sosial siswa. Ketiga, Diversifikasi menghasilkan pendidikan yang lebih relevan, meningkatkan kualitas, kepuasan stakeholder, dan memenuhi kebutuhan siswa yang beragam melalui penerapan kurikulum pemerintah dan pondok pesantren
