Berdasarkan analisis kajian, terdapat tujuh faktor yang terbentuk mewakili dimensi kesihatan mental remaja luar bandar iaitu (i) emosi, (ii) penyelesaian masalah (problem -solving), (iii) kesejahteraan intelektual (intellectual wellness), (iv) kerohanian (spirituality), (v) penglibatan sosial (social engagement), (vi) resiliensi dan (vii) tingkah laku (behavioral).
Enhancing Employability Through Industrial Training: Insights from Event Operation Certificate Graduates and Industrial Training Employers
To fulfil the required credit hours for graduation, all final semester students in the Event Operation Certificate (EOC) program offered by Pasir Salak Community College are required to undergo industrial training. Aside from improving students' existing skills, industrial training stands as the main platform to develop their talents, ultimately helping them towards secured employment in the events industry. However, rapid technological changes and development in the events industry have resulted in a mismatch between knowledge and skills. The theoretical knowledge and skills acquired at the educational institutions often demonstrate a disparity with the practical applications within industries. Hence, the purpose of this study was to investigate the role of industrial training in enhancing the employability of EOC graduates post-graduation. The study employed a qualitative approach via a case study design. Purposive sampling was used to recruit the respondents based on their knowledge and experience to answer the research questions. The sample consisted of 11 EOC graduates from Pasir Salak Community College and three employers with experience in training EOC students during the industrial training period. The data was collected through in-depth interviews using semi-structured questions. All interview sessions were audio recorded and transcribed verbatim for thematic analysis by coding and identifying recurring themes. The findings revealed that the majority of EOC graduates who underwent industrial training were given multiple tasks by employers in preparing themselves for future employability in the events sector. The graduates also acquired various new skills from the industrial training, including digital skills. However, most EOC graduates faced challenges throughout their industrial training, encompassing time limitations, physical exhaustion, communication obstacles, and unexpected mental strain. Meanwhile, employers prioritize negotiation within communication, technical training, and event concepts during industrial training and value digital skills as a bonus for graduates entering the workforce. Overall, they see industrial training as a platform for sparking interest, fostering positivity, and encouraging graduates to venture into the events busines
Study on the Composition and Singing Characteristics of Chinese Ancient Poetry Choral Works
The study of the creation and singing characteristics of ancient poetic choral works involves the study of ancient poetic art, choral art, harmonic composition, song singing, conducting techniques and artistic development, which is a very challenging research topic. This is mainly due to the special characteristics of the subject matter itself. As an art that encompasses a wide range of subjects, the chorus itself has many characteristics in terms of connotation and extension. As the most important element of choral art, the combination of choral composition and singing characteristics can emphasize the characteristics and style of choral art. The main purpose of this study is to analyze the choral works of ancient poems composed since the emergence of Chinese choral art, organize them into categories, then analyze their characteristics, and then summarize the corresponding singing characteristics of different styles, periods and genres, so as to come up with a complete system of ancient poems composition and singing characteristics. By combining qualitative research with quantitative research and through interviews with experts, the various weaves of this system are further refined. The results of this study will help to present some innovative ideas and help in the current field of Chinese ancient poetry choral works. It will be of some guidance to some scholars engaged in the art of mass choral singing as well as introductory choral conductin

Untangling Culture Shock and Workplace Bullying using Organisational Support in Achieving Expatriate Adaptation
Similar to other expatriate destinations, expatriates in Nigeria are susceptible to a myriad of issues. Nevertheless, empirical investigation to curb vicious actions against expatriates in Nigeria has been scarce and scanty. This study was conducted on the notion that organisational support moderates the negative effects of workplace bullying and culture shock on the adaptation of expatriates in Nigeria. It is a quantitative, correlational, and cross-sectional study based on responses gathered using a purposive sampling technique from 192 expatriates from 17 countries working in Nigeria. The PLS-SEM path modelling outcomes indicated that both culture shock and workplace bullying negatively and significantly affect both work and non-work domains of expatriate adaptation. On the contrary, the path coefficients and t-values obtained for the moderation of culture shock by organisational support are positive but weak. Consequently, the p-values were not statistically significant and H3 was not supported. The moderation of workplace bullying and adaptation by organisational support was negative and also weak, implying that H4 is also not supported. In order to forestall the burdens of adaptation on expatriates, multinational companies are encouraged to explore various support measures, including cross-cultural training and addressing workplace bullying, to facilitate smooth adaptation for expatriate

The Role of High-Performance Work Practices and Affective Commitment in Promoting Knowledge Sharing Behavior in Higher Education Institutions
Although high-performance work practices (HPWPs) are well-known for promoting desired attitudes and behaviors among organizational members, the current literature has overlooked measuring the impact of HPWPs on knowledge sharing behavior (KSB) in the academic setting. Thus, considering the research gap and the pivotal role of knowledge sharing practices in academic institutions, this study aims to explore the aforesaid relationship in the realm of higher education institutions (HEIs) from the perspective of social exchange theory. Moreover, the study aims to explore affective commitment (AC) as a connector between HPWPs and KSB. The study amassed data conveniently using a structured questionnaire from 255 private university teachers serving in Bangladesh. The sample size was relatively small owing to limited access and the considerable time constraints of the respondents. The outcomes of SEM-PLS analysis revealed five HPWPs (i.e., selective staffing, training, performance appraisal, compensation, and participation) as successful predictors of both AC and KSB. Moreover, AC mediated the link between these five HPWPs and KSB, meaning that AC plays an important role in explaining how HPWPs influence KSB. However, clear job description did not significantly predict KSB either directly or indirectly through AC. This study introduces fresh insights into the concept of high-performance work system showing how its individual practices shape the willingness of academics to share knowledge directly and via AC. The study’s findings imply that HEIs should incorporate HPWPs (e.g., attractive compensation, participative decision-making) into their people management systems to enhance faculty members’ organizational commitment and knowledge sharing practices, thereby achieving long-term success and sustainabilit

Climate Change and Household Consumption Expenditure Growth in Some Selected African Countries: a Generalized Method of Moment (GMM) Approach
Household consumption expenditure in African nation is constrained with falling income, economic crisis and poverty. Africa is located around the tropic which makes the continent vulnerable to climate change. The rising pattern of poverty precipitated by falling household consumption is caused by climate change due to the nature economic activities of African nation. One of the economic agenda of African nation is to attain sustainable development goal which is constrained by poor household expenditure, malnourishment and poverty. The bulk of African population is engaged in occupation influenced by climatic factors. It is in view of this that this study investigates the effect of climate change on household consumption expenditure. This study uses a panel data set from fifty-four (54) African countries span 2013 to 2022. The technique of estimation employed is the Generalized Method of Moment (GMM). The results of the result of study indicates that there is a short run relationship. The lag value of household consumption expenditure at first and second lag is statistically significant and is best instruments to be included in the model. The coefficient Co2 emission has a positive and statistical significant effect on household consumption. Temperature, economic globalization and social globalization have a negative but non significant effect on household consumption expenditure. Political globalization has a positive but non significant effect on household consumption expenditure in African countries. The increase adequate finance and preparedness to address issues of climate change to reduce the surge effect on household consumption would make adaptation strategy possibl
Decoding Employee Digital Performance: An in-Depth Literature Analysis
Digitalization has permeated into personal life and organizational operations, capturing significant interest from various organizations. They are uncertain about how to measure the impact of factors and metrics in the digital transformation process on Employee Digital Performance (EDP). This uncertainty poses challenges for decision-makers in assessing the feasibility of digitization and predicting employee performance outcomes. This study, employing the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA), conducted a comprehensive evaluation of 32 articles, providing influencing factors, performance indicators, metrics, and scales to fill this crucial research gap. The paper reviews the results based on the theoretical vantage points of the Results and Determinants (RD) and "Adaptive Enterprise Architecture" frameworks (EA). The research results indicate that, firstly, in terms of factors influencing employee performance, leadership types, HRM, and digital technology as independent variables significantly impact employee performance, with numerous studies highlighting the crucial role of digital technology. Furthermore, employee attitude and behavior variables, as important mediating variables, exist between organizational support factors and employee performance. Secondly, in the PI style assessment domain, the evaluation of Employee Performance emphasizes flexibility, job quality, and innovation capabilities, particularly highlighting the utilization of resources (i.e., improving job performance with digital resources). However, there is a research gap in the study of competitiveness and finance. Additionally, this study compares the differences in measurement between organizational digital performance and EDP. The research findings lay a solid foundation for further exploration of "digital design" and performance outcomes and provide direction for future studie
