Aprendizaje colectivo en acción: una revisión sistemática de las comunidades de aprendizaje en contextos educativos
No full textA través de este documento se presenta un estudio que realizó una revisión sistemática en torno al concepto de comunidades de aprendizaje, con objeto de recuperar los conocimientos derivados de la investigación educativa al respecto, y ofrecer insumos para el diseño, planificación y puesta en marcha de procesos educativos basados en esta estrategia. La perspectiva teórica se nutre del concepto de comunidades de aprendizaje desde la pedagogía crítica. La estrategia metodológica consistió en un estudio documental descriptivo orientado a la elaboración de estados del arte, y tomó como muestra 37 artículos de investigación escritos en el periodo comprendido entre los años 2018 y 2024, y recuperados mediante diversas bases de datos y repositorios. A través de esta investigación se pudo construir un cuerpo de conocimientos que plantean la vigencia y pertinencia de las comunidades de aprendizaje, como estrategia para favorecer el cambio educativo, la formación integral y el desarrollo humano de los miembros de la comunidad, así como la consolidación de colectividades más saludables. Se prevé también, las condiciones que favorecen y obstaculizan este tipo de iniciativas, el impacto que puede tener en la formación docente, y una serie de objetos de estudio susceptibles de ser abordados en futuras investigaciones
Probabilistic Weibull reliability of a shaft design subjected to bending and torsion stress
No full textThe circular shaft serves as the axis of rotation for the components. It is subjected to flexion and tearing, indicating that fatigue is the mode of failure. The range of stresses resulting from the mean and alternating loads determines the occurrence of fatigue failure. The deterministic fatigue analysis, calculated using the stress average obtained from SN curves, can only represent the mean life. This is because the stress range is not a single number, and therefore it cannot provide the reliability level for the stress. The study employs the Weibull distribution to estimate loads and parameters for a probabilistic shaft design under bending and torsion. The minimum strength is assessed using corresponding stress analysis to determine the reliability index for the designed shaft

No full textPor muchos años, en México se promovió el regateo como una forma de obtener mejores precios en los mercados, sin embargo, ello impactó de manera negativa a productores de artesanías, quienes de manera directa fueron afectados por los bajos precios y poco reconocimiento a su labor. Con la aparición del programa de Pueblos Mágicos fue inminente el cambio de perspectiva al dar mayor valor al trabajo de los artesanos. Con esta coyuntura se destacaron las habilidades, y tradiciones que se guardaban en cada pieza, pues son elaboradas por diferentes materiales de manera única, además de un reconocimiento generacional dada la transferencia del conocimiento. Por ello, se investigó sobre la relación entre las conductas de los compradores de artesanías mexicanas, la atención a la demanda del mercado por parte de los artesanos y los motivos de compra, para así identificar los factores de interés en el consumidor actual de artesanías. La investigación que se realizó es descriptiva, de tipo mixta y perspectiva fenomenológica, por lo que se aplicaron diferentes instrumentos cuali-cuantitativos para comprender el comportamiento del consumidor, los deseos y demandas al momento de adquirir una artesanía y las estrategias de venta de los artesanos de cerámica de la comunidad de Juan Mata Ortiz (Chihuahua, México), quienes aprovechan oportunidades de venta a precios competitivos con una competencia similar, pues la evidencia muestra que los consumidores brindan mayor reconocimiento a las piezas, al evitar precios menores a los indicados por los productores y su relación con la identidad mexicana y cultural
Evaluation of adjustable functionality and mechanical properties of a transradial mechanical prosthesis for 3D printing
No full textThis work aimed to evaluate the adjustable functionality of a proposed design for a transradial mechanical prosthesis for 3D printing and to compare the mechanical properties of 3 material: PLA, ABS, and PETG. Anthropometric measurements were obtained from EBSCOhost and entered the design to evaluate its adjustable functionality. In addition, simulations were performed to compare the mechanical properties of the materials at different positions and forces to identify the material with the best performance. Subsequently, a prototype of the selected material was created for performance testing with a Mark-10 machine to compare with the simulations. The adjustable evaluation data showed minor variations that didn’t pose an obstacle to its mechanical functionality while evaluations of von Mises stress, displacements, deformation, heat transfer, compression, acquisition, and accessibility established PLA as the most suitable. Finally, the prototype showed that, both in simulation and in the laboratory, the parts suffered greater displacement in the supination position. Despite minimal damage to the hand-arm joint, this design offers an accessible alternative, adjustable and cost-effective, and significantly reduced the fabrication time compared to traditional devices
Fast fashion consumption and its environmental impact: a literature review
No full textThe fast fashion linear business model and its widespread consumption practices have instigated numerous environmental consequences, prompting extensive research into sustainable consumer behavior. This article conducts a thorough and quantitative analysis of the contemporary research landscape of the fashion industry and its ecological impact. Spanning from 2012 to 2023, our review explores 119 articles sourced from journals at the intersection of clean production and the fashion industry. The analysis reveals two central research focal points and identifies 77 keywords embedded in the knowledge base. Three overarching knowledge domains emerge from this exploration. We construct a cohesive narrative by synthesizing critical knowledge junctures, the knowledge base, and identified domains, resulting in a knowledge structure comprising five key concepts. Moreover, keywords are thoughtfully organized under their respective knowledge domains. As a synthesis of these insights, this article presents a robust knowledge roadmap, serving as a compass for a nuanced understanding of the current state of sustainability within the dynamic realm of the fashion industry

Canine Distemper Virus: Origins, Mutations, Diagnosis, and Epidemiology in Mexico
No full textThis review provides an overview of the canine distemper virus (CDV), a highly infectious pathogen causing severe disease in domestic dogs and wildlife. It shares genetic similarities with the human measles virus (HMV) in humans and the rinderpest virus (RPV) in cattle. The origin of CDV likely involves a mutation from human measles strains, possibly in the New World, with subsequent transmission to dogs. CDV has been globally observed, with an increasing incidence in various animal populations. Genomic mutations, especially in the H protein, contribute to its ability to infect different hosts. Diagnosis by molecular techniques like RT-qPCR offers rapid and sensitive detection when compared with serological tests. Genomic sequencing is vital for understanding CDV evolution and designing effective control strategies. Overall, CDV poses a significant threat, and genomic sequencing enhances our ability to manage and prevent its spread. Here, the epidemiology of CDV principally in Mexico is reviewed
