Like to Learn: Reimagining Instagram as Architecture Learning Platform
No full textThis study posits that Instagram extends beyond social networking, serving as a tool for informal learning and knowledge dissemination. Architecture, deeply intertwined with visual exploration, finds a natural ally in Instagram, a popular visual-based social media platform in Indonesia. This study is an exploratory qualitative study, attempting to reflect on the reinterpretation of Instagram as a potential medium for informal architecture learning. This case study explores Instagrams role in knowledge access for Indonesian architecture, examining its support for learning activities through users, content, and interaction. The findings highlight Instagrams potential to enhance architectural education in learning, especially through professional architects who share knowledge on the platform. Users on Instagram are both consumers and creators of content, fostering a dynamic exchange of ideas. Instagram’s features, like comments and live sessions, support a collaborative learning environment. Its visual focus suits architectural learning, helping students and professionals stay informed and engaged. Instagrams extensive reach and real-time interaction capabilities, independent of pre-existing personal connections, render it an invaluable tool for explorative knowledge dissemination. This suggests its potential to play a significant role in the future of architectural education
Kepercayaan dan risiko dalam pemanfaatan teknologi informasi perpajakan
No full textTujuan Penelitian ini mengevaluasi pengaruh risiko dan kepercayaan terhadap sikap dan niat wajib pajak dalam menggunakan teknologi informasi perpajakan. Mengingat transformasi digital dalam sistem perpajakan terus berkembang, pemahaman mengenai faktor psikologis yang memengaruhi adopsi teknologi menjadi krusial bagi otoritas pajak. Metode Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap 202 wajib pajak individu. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) untuk menguji hubungan antarvariabel dalam model penelitian. Temuan - Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepercayaan dan risiko secara signifikan memengaruhi sikap wajib pajak, tetapi tidak memiliki pengaruh langsung terhadap niat penggunaan teknologi informasi perpajakan. Kepercayaan menjadi faktor paling dominan dalam membentuk sikap positif, sementara risiko teknologi lebih berperan dalam menentukan sikap negatif. Sikap terbukti memediasi pengaruh kepercayaan dan risiko terhadap niat penggunaan teknologi perpajakan. Implikasi - Penelitian ini memberikan panduan strategis bagi otoritas pajak untuk mengelola risiko teknologi dan meningkatkan kepercayaan, mendukung transformasi digital sektor pajak. Kebaharuan - Studi ini menyoroti pentingnya sikap sebagai mediator utama dalam hubungan antara kepercayaan, risiko, dan niat penggunaan teknologi informasi perpajakan, yang belum banyak dibahas dalam penelitian sebelumnya
From sign to design: The role of domain transfer in redefining architecture locality
No full textThis research examines the design process using conceptual
frameworks based on domain transfer to suggest a new model for
architecture based on local contexts. Plowrights conceptual
framework is a way of developing new ideas, in which architecture
may or may not be subverted with concepts that are significant;
meanings may also be redefined with ‘big ideas’ (concepts),
analogy, metaphor or significant questions from inside and outside
the realms of architecture. This research utilizes case study method
through design and reflects on the design process within the context
of the West Java Cultural Center design competition. This analysis
deconstructed and explained the design process using the
conceptual framework, identifying unique representations of crosscultural
and West Java culture as the basis for an architectural
program. The case was used to understand the transformational
architectural syntax occurring from local signs and symbols as
evidence of innovation. The results of the case study fell within three
areas: concepts as a way to achieve a place of innovation
(hypothesis), transferring ideas based on locality into elements and
syntax (transfer), and bringing them all together into a coherent
design (coherence). Domain transfer was redefined in this case
study as the translation of symbolic values and cultural attributes
from non-architecture into architectural form and elements in
pursuit of contextual design innovation

In the webtoon Cewekku Galak, Yoo Ah-rin emerges as a mother-like figure whose defining traits such as nurturing, protecting, and unconditionally loving profoundly shape the lives of people around her. This study will be using Carl Jung�s mother archetype theory, John Bowlby�s attachment theory, and Melanie Klein�s object relations theory to explore how these qualities foster emotional security, stability, safety, trust, and a sense of acceptance in other characters. At the same time, it reveals the unintended consequences of her care, such as emotional dependency and obsession. By analyzing the dual impact of her role, this research highlights the complexity of maternal figures in fiction and the enduring significance of unconditional love in storytelling
Learning from timber folded grid structure for Mosque in Indonesia
No full textTimber has been used in traditional Indonesia short-span roof structure. This short span timber structure still depended on the maximum length and thickness of the timber. Despite the introduction of the trusses system, timber constructions are still limited to short span roofs. Steel and concrete are still more popular to be used as long span roof structure material. This phenomenon was also shown in mosque roof structure development. The timber roof structure was replaced by steel and concrete long-span roof, especially in form of dome structure.
This paper presents the complexity of design to construction process of Nurul Hasanah Aceh Mosque in Palu City which pioneers the long-span single-layer folded grid timber roof structure in Indonesia. This article discusses design exploration of the mosque which showed the inseparable structural, construction, and architectural aspect in design process. The construction could serve as milestone for the development of long-span timber roof construction in Indonesia. This article also recommends several technical and computational improvement to further develop complex long-span timber structures in Indonesia
Indonesian Bond Yields: Inflation, Fed Rates, And Exchange Rate Effects
No full textThis research aims to analyze the effects of Indonesian
inflation, the rise of the US Fed rate, and the exchange rate on the
yield of Indonesian government bonds. This study employs a
quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from reliable
sources, such as the Bloomberg database, the official website of
Bank Indonesia, and the official website of the Federal Reserve.
The sample comprises 132 months of macroeconomic rates and
prices, covering 10 years from 2012 to 2022. Data analysis
included descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, and
stationarity testing. While previous studies have analysed the
effects of these factors on government bond prices, this study
investigates explicitly their impact on government bond yield in
Indonesia. The results show that inflation and the exchange rate
positively affect the Indonesian government bond yield. However,
the rise in the US Federal Reserve rate does not significantly drive
changes in the Indonesian government bond yield

No full textInternal fraud such as cash theft and unauthorized use of raw materials has become a serious issue at a coffee shop in Surabaya, especially amid declining customer numbers and business income. This situation highlights the need for intervention to improve overall financial and operational management. This community service project aims to enhance transparency and accountability through transaction recording training, financial ethics education, implementation of a Point of Sale (POS) system, simple internal audits, and regular cash inspections. The method involved observation, interviews, document analysis, training sessions, and online mentoring conducted from February to March 2025. The results showed improved employee understanding of accurate record-keeping, a significant decrease in daily cash discrepancies, and the development of more responsible work habits. In conclusion, a structured financial and operational system can reduce the risk of fraud and support the long-term sustainability of the business
PENGARUH ORIENTASI KEWIRAUSAHAAN TERHADAP KINERJA DENGAN KETERLIBATAN KELUARGA SEBAGAI MEDIASI PADA BISNIS KELUARGA
No full textPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh orientasi kewirausahaan terhadap kinerja perusahaan dengan keterlibatan keluarga sebagai mediasi pada perusahaan keluarga di Jawa Timur. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 200 orang yang merupakan pemilik/manajemen kunci pada perusahaan keluarga. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) digunakan untuk menganalisis data penelitian dengan menggunkan software SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orientasi kewirausahaan berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja perusahaan (β = 0,663; p < 0,05) dan keterlibatan keluarga (β = 0,815; p < 0,05). Keterlibatan keluarga juga berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja perusahaan (β = 0,280; p < 0,05) serta terdapat partial mediation pada pengaruh orientasi kewirausahaan terhadap kinerja perusahaan (β = 0,228; p < 0,05). Nilai R� penelitian sebesar 82%, yang berarti model penelitian mampu menjelaskan sebagian besar variasi dengan sangat baik
