Post-COVID Insurance Purchase Intention: The Roles of Referral, Agent Characteristics, Influencer Credibility, Plan Value, and Trust
The COVID-19 pandemic has heightened public awareness regarding the importance of health insurance. Several factors influencing the choice of an insurance brand include the plan value, agent characteristics, referrals, and consumer trust. Over the past five years, the use of influencers has expanded as they are believed to influence consumer intentions to purchase insurance services. Primary data was collected through a survey of 181 respondents who did not have an insurance policy but had seen the content of the insurance companys marketing communications presented by influencers. Using SEM-PLS to analyze the primary data, the study found that agent characteristics and influencer credi- bility directly affect an insurance brands consumer trust and purchase intention. Meanwhile, referrals have a significant direct effect on consumer trust but not directly on purchase intention. Conversely, the plan value offered by insurance companies directly affects purchase intention but has no direct influen- ce on consumer trust. Despite finding that consumer trust was insignificant in mediating the effect of referrals, agent characteristics, plan values, and influencer credibility on purchase intention, this study validates the role of agent characteristics, plan values, and influencer credibility in influencing consumers intention to purchase insurance products

Exploring the Influence of Gamified Digital Learning on Student Engagement and Learning: A Case Study on Using Interactive Comics to Study Pancasila
This study investigates the engagement of students studying Pancasila (i.e., Indonesian philosophy) through interactive comics, with consideration of their backgrounds and reading habits. The data were collected through a survey delivered via Google Forms. The subjects were first-year students at Petra Christian University (PCU) studying Pancasila through interactive comics. The data were explored using descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, and machine learning. We found that 72.55 percent of the respondents understood the material delivered through the interactive comics in detail. In addition, they described the method as fun. The hypothesis testing showed that the students were able to study Pancasila through interactive comics successfully regardless of their background (e.g., gender, GPA, living situation, major), reading preferences, and average reading duration. However, students majors influenced the opinion that interactive comics led to a more interesting, up-to-date, and fun learning experience. Students who generally like e-books preferred learning Pancasila through interactive comics over conventional methods, and students who like reading novels concluded that learning Pancasila through interactive comics helped them study. Ultimately, 62.75 percent of the participants recommended exploring Pancasila through interactive comics. Based on the data, we can recommend using this approach
Driver-Passenger Matching Problem on Online Transportation Using Goal Programming
Currently, online transportation is one of the choices for public transportation. The uniqueness of this online transportation business is that both passengers and drivers can appear anywhere and anytime. This creates difficulties for online transportation service providers in matching drivers and passengers in order to continue to increase service user satisfaction. The service provider must consider factors such as the duration of the pickup, the distance of the pickup, and the rating of the driver. This study aims to include these various factors in the decision-making process to match drivers and passengers using the goal programming method. The test was carried out by comparing the maximum distance limitation of the pick-up duration to 10 and 15 minutes. From the test results, it was found that the number of matches obtained increased by 11.6%, but with the consequence that the average pickup duration increased by 58.8%, and the average pick-up distance increased by 81.8%. Meanwhile, the driver rating obtained decreased by 5%. This needs to be considered because the greater the duration, the longer the passengers wait for pickup. The farther the distance traveled, the greater the costs incurred by the driver in picking him up. This will affect the loyalty of passengers and drivers to the service. It can be concluded that the goal programming method is capable of carrying out the matching process between drivers and passengers by considering various factors
