    Improving Production Capacity and Coefficient Efficiency of K-Contactor in the Backend Process: A Simulation Case Study

    This research was conducted in an electrical company that aims to increase production capacity due to a surge in demand. The demand is 8% year to year increasing, especially for K-Contactor products. The company also wants to improve the Coefficient Effi-ciency rate towards 80%; currently, it is between 65-75%. A simula-tion model was constructed using Pro-Model to imitate the current condition and to simulate the proposed solution. By arranging the layout of the machine, the target production is increased from 325 to 334 and the coefficient efficiency of K-contactors reaches 80%

    Tulisan ini merefleksikan posisi desain arsitektur masjid kontemporer di Indonesia sebagai model integrasi keberlanjutan multi-dimensi, meliputi aspek lingkungan, budaya, sosial, ekonomi, serta inovasi teknologi dalam perancangan. Fokus utama kajian adalah pada inovasi desain masjid yang mencerminkan integrasi transformasi lokalitas dalam upaya inovasi keberlanjutan berbagai aspek. Kajian ini bertujuan menampilkan beragam elemen desain yang tidak hanya fungsional tetapi juga bermakna dalam konteks keberlanjutan terintegrasi. Metode kajian melalui studi kasus pada desain masjid kontemporer yang dipublikasikan di media kredibel sejak 2020. Masjid-masjid tersebut dirancang oleh tiga konsultan arsitek muda Indonesia, meliputi Andyrahman, AGo dan RAD+ar yang menunjukkan eksplorasi kreatif dalam merespons keberlanjutan. Analisis dilakukan dengan identifikasi aspek keberlanjutan multi-dimensi melalui deskripsi kualitatif yang menyeluruh, mencakup inovasi desain, teknologi, pertimbangan ekologis, kontribusi sosial-budaya, dan nilai ekonomi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa inovasi dalam desain adalah katalis utama dalam menciptakan transformasi lokalitas dalam efisiensi desain masjid kontemporer. Masjid tidak lagi sekadar tempat ibadah tradisional, tetapi juga simbol keberlanjutan holistik, mendukung literatur arsitektur dengan mempromosikan desain berorientasi keberlanjutan multi-dimensi yang 2 relevan untuk masa depan. Kajian ini juga membuka peluang eksplorasi fungsi arsitektur lain di luar fungsi peribadatan, mengedepankan ide kreatif integratif dalam menanggapi keberlanjutan beragam aspek secara menyeluruh

    Development of an Interactive Adventure Game for Enhancing Mathematical Learning in Second Grade Students

    Mathematics is a fundamental subject taught across all educational levels, particularly in primary schools, where it serves as a foundation for understanding technology and science. However, second-grade students often struggle with mathematics due to a lack of motivation, primarily caused by conventional teaching methods that fail to engage them effectively. According to educators, students prefer learning through real-life examples that help them better understand the material and information presented. To address these challenges, an educational game was developed to support second-grade mathematics in primary schools, aligning with Indonesias latest curriculum, Merdeka Curriculum. The game covers key mathematical topics, including numbers recognition, comparisons, addition, subtraction, geometric shapes, spatial figures, and patterns. To increase student engagement and sustain their interest, the game incorporates an adventure genre where students complete mini-games as part of various missions throughout the gameplay. Testing was conducted by comparing the pre-test and post-test scores of second-grade students after playing the adventure game. Students took a pre-test before playing the game and a post-test afterwards. The test results demonstrated a significant improvement in understanding, with average scores increasing from 8.21 to 9.07, and the score range shifting from 5-10 to 7-10. This confirms that the use of the game is effective in enhancing students comprehension of mathematics

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan faktor kecemasan calon guru SD berkaitan dengan keterampilan membaca dan mendengarkan bahasa Inggris serta strategi yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi kecemasan tersebut. Data penelitian kualitatif ini diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara mendalam. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang menyebabkan calon guru SD cemas saat membaca teks bahasa Inggris adalah kosakata asing, pelafalan yang sulit, ketakutan membuat kesalahan dan menerima evaluasi negatif serta keterbatasan waktu membaca. Faktor yang menyebabkan calon guru SD cemas mendengarkan bahasa Inggris adalah cara berbicara yang terlalu cepat, pengucapan yang kurang jelas, kosakata asing, dan tidak ada pengulangan percakapan saat ujian. Strategi yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi kecemasan membaca adalah menggunakan alat terjemahan, mempersiapkan diri sebelum kelas dan bertanya kepada teman. Since these tools can handle grammar and sentence structure, students can spend more time focusing on their ideas and how they communicate them. To use AI well, students need strong reading skills, especially the ability to read widely and think carefully about what they read. This paper explains why reading is now more important than ever, shares ideas from research, and gives practical tips for teachers.     Determinants of Tax Aggressiveness in Indonesia: Family Firms and Non-family Firms Point of View

    Purpose This research aims to understand how family firms influence tax aggressiveness in healthcare companies listed on Bursa Efek Indonesia from 2019 to 2023, using profitability, leverage, size, and tangibility as control variables. Design/Methodology/Approach This research utilises secondary data in the form of public financial statements from healthcare sector companies, sourced from the database centre Refinitive, with specific criteria: companies that are still actively listed as healthcare companies and are not under threat of bankruptcy during the period 2019-2023. Random effect model using generalized least squares is chosen to process 117 observation data with the help of STATA software. Findings or Expected Outcomes The result shows that a family firm does not influence tax aggressiveness. This finding gives a new perspective that the impact of family firm on tax aggressiveness is insignificant when using a healthcare company as a research subject; therefore, the result of past research that shows that family firms influence tax aggressiveness must consider the unique characteristics of the industry, therefore gives different results. Originality/Value This research uses the healthcare industry, which is unique due to various tax relief incentives and exemptions provided by the government to the healthcare sector during the pandemic. Furthermore, this research deploys profitability, leverage, firm size and tangibility as its control variables. Practical/Social Implications This research implies that a family firm boosts or reduces tax aggressiveness in a company, regardless of how the family, as majority stockholders, tries to influence the company. Directions for Future Research/Limitations The research data only covers publicly listed healthcare firms, whereas most Indonesian companies are private SME firms. This research only uses ETR as a tax aggressiveness measure, where multiple other measures, such as cash ETR and book-tax-difference, can also be used to compare findings between each measure. Furthermore, the result might be limited to healthcare firms, where different industries might have their own unique characteristics during the pandemic

    This community service activity aimed to apply solar energy to a cow and goat fodder chopper to obtain finely chopped forage. The realization of chopper and small-scale solar power plants was based on interviews with farmers. Chopped forage included elephant grass, caliandra, and young sugarcane. The electric power plant and chopper were settled in an area agreed upon by the farmers. Moreover, a comparative study on chopper construction shows that the free cutting mechanism implemented is also used by other researchers and has a simple and strong construction, nevertheless providing ease in disassembly and maintenance. A 12,1568 m2-monocrystalline solar panel, inverter, and battery were employed as the electric energy generating station for powering the chopper. The electric current surge occurring at the start of the chopper operation was found to be 73.82 A and can be dampened by a variable-speed drive to 3.4 A. The electric power station has an installed capacity of 5000 Watts and can deliver effective electric energy of 3000 Watts from an 8 hour-shining time of sunlight (8 a.m to 16 p.m) every day. The chopper can deliver a production capacity of fine chopped fodder of 200 kg/hour and can be operated for 6 hours nonstop daily. Farmers were satisfied with the performance of the chopper, as shown in the feedback forms of the farmers. Additionally, farmers have learned the benefits of the machine and have been able to employ it as well as to do chopper maintenance.
