Analisis Pengaruh Profesionalisme Terhadap Keterlambatan Proyek Konstruksi
Pada umumnya suatu proyek konstruksi memiliki rencana dan jadwal pelaksanaan untuk membatasi waktu penyelesaian pekerjaan proyek. Namun tidak jarang rencana dan jadwal pelaksanaan yang telah dibuat tidak sesuai dengan kenyataan di lapangan, sehingga mengakibatkan keterlambatan dalam penyelesaian proyek. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh profesionalisme terhadap keterlambatan proyek di proyek Kantor X di Surabaya. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dan induktif, yang terdiri dari data primer dan sekunder. Data primer didapatkan dari hasil wawancara, kuisioner, dan pengamatan langsung, sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari studi literatur yang mendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara profesionalisme dengan keterlambatan proyek. Faktor-faktor yang menjadi penyebab utama yang memengaruhi keterlambatan penyelesaian proyek pembangunan Kantor X di Surabaya yaitu kurangnya pengalaman owner dalam bidang konstruksi, konsultan yang kurang memahami kebutuhan owner, dan kurangnya manajemen proyek dan pengawasan oleh kontraktor. Social Media Intervention: Ngeskrip Posts Boost Engagement at Petra Business School (PBS)
Dampak media sosial yang kini telah menjadi alat penting dalam strategi pemasaran dan komunikasi bagi berbagai organisasi, termasuk institusi pendidikan. pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi Ngeskrip, sebagai digital creator yang dikelola kampus Universitas Kristen Petra (PCU) di jurusan baru di lingkungan PCU yang disebut Petra Business School; di mana lewat dana Pengabdian Masyarakat yang diperoleh, diharapkan Ngeskrip mampu dikembangkan dan diberdayakan. Evaluasi aktivitas Ngeskrip dilakukan dengan menilai engagement dan menakar efektivitas strategi sosial media dalam membangun brand PBS. Evaluasi kegiatan ini menggunakan metode analisis kuantitatif deskriptif dengan mengumpulkan data engagement dari postingan media sosial PBS yang dikelola oleh Ngeskrip. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa postingan yang dibuat oleh Ngeskrip memiliki engagement yang lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan postingan yang bukan dibuat oleh Ngeskrip. Namun, penggunaan Instagram Ads dan kolaborasi dengan influencer terbukti meningkatkan engagement secara signifikan. From sign to design: The role of domain transfer in redefining architecture locality
This research examines the design process using conceptual
frameworks based on domain transfer to suggest a new model for
architecture based on local contexts. Plowrights conceptual
framework is a way of developing new ideas, in which architecture
may or may not be subverted with concepts that are significant;
meanings may also be redefined with ‘big ideas’ (concepts),
analogy, metaphor or significant questions from inside and outside
the realms of architecture. This research utilizes case study method
through design and reflects on the design process within the context
of the West Java Cultural Center design competition. This analysis
deconstructed and explained the design process using the
conceptual framework, identifying unique representations of crosscultural
and West Java culture as the basis for an architectural
program. The case was used to understand the transformational
architectural syntax occurring from local signs and symbols as
evidence of innovation. The results of the case study fell within three
areas: concepts as a way to achieve a place of innovation
(hypothesis), transferring ideas based on locality into elements and
syntax (transfer), and bringing them all together into a coherent
design (coherence). Domain transfer was redefined in this case
study as the translation of symbolic values and cultural attributes
from non-architecture into architectural form and elements in
pursuit of contextual design innovation
INCENTIVE MECHANISM FOR QUALITY INSPECTION: A LINEAR PROGRAMMING APPROACH
This study develops an incentive mechanism model for outsourced personnel in product quality inspection, based on a principal-agent relationship. The core challenge lies in misaligned incentives, where agents often prioritize output volume over quality. Byintegrating Mechanism Design Theory (MDT) and Linear Programming (LP), our model aligns the principals objective of minimizing defective products with the agents utility maximization, subject to Incentive Compatibility and Individual Rationality constraints. Our analysis reveals that the optimal incentive structure combines a basic wage with a performance-based bonus. The optimal effort level of outsourced personnel increases with both rising losses due to defective products and enhanced detection efforteffectiveness. The model also shows that optimal inspection allocation should be assigned to personnel with higher capabilities, especially for high-risk products. This research provides a theoretical contribution by integrating MDT and LP for incentive design and offers practical implications for improving product quality through a measurable incentive framework

The cadres and prospective leaders of student organizations in higher education are national cadres, so it is hoped that these cadres can make a positive contribution to
student organizations and the civilization of the Indonesian nation. This dialogue needs to be followed up institutionally and manifested in daily actions
Seismic Performance Evaluation of An Interior Reinforced Concrete Beam-Column Joint Subjected to Cyclic Loading
Many reinforced concrete (RC) buildings in Indonesia suffered severe earthquake damages due to brittle failure and poor detailing works of the beam-column joints. This experimental study aims to investigate the seismic performance of an interior beam-column joint designed according to ACI 318-19 code provisions. The specimen was subjected to static axial loading to simulate gravity loading on column and lateral quasi-static cyclic loading to simulate earthquake loading. From the experimental results, it shows that the RC beam-column joint exhibited ductile beam flexural failure as expected. However, there was a considerable bond-slip noticed on beam’s longitudinal reinforcement. In addition to the experimental study, a finite element analysis was also performed using VecTor2 software. The analysis results show that the model could simulate well the hysteretic behavior of the specimen. Furthermore, from the analysis, bond-slip was also found to be a key factor affecting the hysteretic behavior of the joint
Employee Voice, Authentic Leadership, Innovative Work Behavior and Psychological Empowerment: A Multilevel Moderated Mediation
Background: The dynamics of the tourism industry require companies to continue to innovate. As the company spearhead, employees need to be encouraged to continue to demonstrate innovative work behavior.
Purpose: This research explores the impact of authentic leadership and innovative work behavior, emphasizing the mediating role of employee voice and the moderating effect of psychological empowerment within the tourism industry in East Java.
Design/methodology/approach: The type of research used is quantitative research with an explanatory approach, namely explaining the causal relationship between variables based on data collected through questionnaires. The study involved 217 respondents selected through a purposive sampling technique. The gathered data were analyzed using PLS-SEM.
Findings/Result: The results showed that authentic leadership positively and significantly encourages employee voice, positively influencing innovative work behavior. In addition, employee voice can mediate authentic leadership and innovative work behavior. Psychological empowerment strengthens the influence of authentic leadership on innovative work behavior.
Conclusion: Tourism industry management should promote openness and innovation among employees by positioning authentic leaders to foster an inclusive culture of innovation.
Originality/value (State of the art): These findings offer valuable insights for tourism industry managers in East Java to enhance authentic leadership in fostering innovation
What Drives Capital Structure? Evidence From Manufacturing Firms in Indonesia
This study investigates the impact of profitability, liquidity, growth opportunity, and asset tangibility on the capital structure of manufacturing firms in Indonesia. This study employs the pecking order theory to examine data from 140 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2017 to 2024. The companies were chosen based on criteria such as having full financial statements, being listed before 2017, and not having negative equity. A total of 1,120 firm-year observations were analyzed using panel data regression with STATA. The findings indicate that profitability and liquidity have a significant negative impact on capital structure, while asset tangibility has a significant positive effect. However, growth opportunity does not have a significant effect, suggesting that expansion potential is not a primary factor in determining debt utilization among manufacturing firms. These findings support the pecking order theory and emphasize the importance of internal financial strength and asset structure in financing decisions. Companies are encouraged to maintain strong internal funding capabilities and manage debt prudently to ensure financial sustainability
Optimalisasi pengelolaan keuangan restoran chinese food melalui pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi keuangan digital
Pengelolaan keuangan yang baik merupakan aspek penting dalam keberlangsungan operasional UMKM, terutama pada sektor restoran yang masih banyak menggunakan metode pencatatan secara manual. Sistem pencatatan manual seringkali menyebabkan kesalahan pencatatan sehingga sulit untuk mengetahui kondisi keuangan secara real time dan akurat. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan pemilik restoran Chinese Food dalam pencatatan laporan keuangan digital untuk mendukung efisiensi operasional dan akurasi dalam pengelolaan stok. Penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu: survei permasalahan yang dilakukan dengan wawancara (in-depth interview), sosialisasi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman pemilik restoran tentang manajemen keuangan yang efektif dan efisien, dan pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi keuangan digital. Melalui pelatihan ini, pemilik restoran berhasil mengimplementasikan aplikasi Accurate dalam usahanya untuk mencatat laporan keuangan dan mengelola stok secara digital. Selain itu, frekuensi pembaruan data stok mengalami peningkatan dimana sebelumnya dilakukan secara tidak teratur, tetapi sekarang rutin dilakukan setiap minggu. Skor kepuasan dari mitra terhadap penggunaan sistem pencatatan digital juga mengalami peningkatan, dari 2.4 menjadi 4.4. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa digitalisasi laporan keuangan tidak hanya mengurangi risiko kesalahan dalam pencatatan manual, tetapi juga meningkatkan efisiensi operasional restoran
