According to the data of the AKI Market Price Information System (MPIS), in week 18 domestic broccolis were available for the first time at HUF 1,100 per kilogram in the assortment of the Budapest Wholesale Market, a 34 percent increase compared to the price a year earlier. Domestic strawberries were offered at HUF 3000 per kilogram, while those from Greece at HUF 1600 per kilogram. In the 16th week, the asparagus was priced at the standard rate of HUF 4000 per kilogram at the Budapest Wholesale Market. By week 18, the average price of asparagus had decreased to HUF 3,000 per kilogram. According to the latest figures from MPIS, the sale prices of wines without a geographical indication (GI) and wines with a protected geographical indication (PGI) increased by 9 per cent to HUF 32.7 thousand per hectolitre between January and April 2025, compared to the same period of the previous year

The producer price of feed wheat was HUF 77.3 thousand per tonne, marking a 15 per cent increase, while that of feed maize was HUF 79 thousand per tonne, showing a 10 per cent rise in the same period. At the same time, the producer price of sunflower seed (including high oleic sunflower seed) was HUF 191.6 thousand per tonne (+26 per cent), that of rapeseed was HUF 197.3 thousand per tonne (+17 per cent) and that of soybean was HUF 158.2 thousand per tonne

Get PDFA mezőgazdasági és élelmiszeripari termékek exportértéke 1,9 százalékkal mérséklődött, importértéke 2,6 százalékkal emelkedett 2025 első három hónapjában, az egyenleg 11,5 százalékkal maradt el a vizsgált időszakban a 2024. első negyedévi értéktől. A mezőgazdasági és élelmiszeripari termékek kivitelének értéke 3501 millió eurót, behozatalának értéke 2492 millió eurót tett ki 2025 első negyedévében, az agrár-külkereskedelem aktívuma 1009 millió euró volt, 131,5 millió euróval kevesebb, mint 2024 első negyedévében. A mezőgazdasági és élelmiszeripari termékek exportárindexe 6,3 százalékkal, az importárindex 3,7 százalékkal nőtt a bázisidőszak szintjéhez képest 2025 első három hónapjában. A mezőgazdasági és élelmiszeripari termékek részesedése a teljes nemzetgazdasági exportértékből 2025 első negyedévében 9,3 százalék, az importértékből 7,4 százalék volt.

The export value of agricultural and food industry products decreased by 1.9 per cent, while their import value increased by 2.6 per cent in the first three months of 2025, the balance was 11.5 per cent lower during the period under review compared to the value in the first quarter of 2024. The export value of agricultural and food industry products amounted to EUR 3,501 million, while the import value was EUR 2,492 million in the first quarter of 2025, the value of the agricultural foreign trade surplus was EUR 1,009 million, which is EUR 131.5 million less than in the first quarter of 2024. The export price index of agricultural and food industry products increased by 6.3 per cent, while the import price index rose by 3.7 per cent in the first three months of 2025 compared to the base period. Domestically grown, striped-skinned, oblong, seeded watermelons were sold at HUF 400 per kilogram in the same week (+23 per cent). The average producer price of domestic apricots was HUF 1,983 per kilogram in weeks 26–28, representing a 118 per cent increase compared to the average price for the same period last year

The producer price of feed wheat was HUF 72.9 thousand per tonne, marking a 12 per cent increase, while that of feed maize HUF 83.1 thousand per tonne, showing a 16 per cent rise in the same period. At the same time, the producer price of sunflower seed (including high oleic sunflower seed) was HUF 210.2 thousand per tonne (+28 per cent), while that of rapeseed was HUF 200.1 thousand per tonne (+14 per cent). The world market price of white sugar was EUR 435 per tonne in May 2025

According to data from the AKI Market Price Information System (MPIS), in week 38, at the Budapest Wholesale Vegetable and Fruit Market domestic snake cucumber in the 400–500 gram size category were available in the selection at the most common price of HUF 700 per kilogram, a 3 per cent decrease compared to the same week last year. The price of fresh domestic apple varieties has increased significantly: Idared was sold at a producer price of HUF 545 per kilogram, and Gala was sold at a producer price of HUF 613 per kilogram. The average producer price of domestic plum was HUF 578 per kilogram in weeks 29–38, representing a 24 per cent increase compared to the average price for the same period last year. Get PDFA kalászos gabonafélék aratása szinte befejeződött 2025. augusztus 13-ig, a tervezett 1 millió 478 ezer hektárból 1 millió 477 ezer hektáron végeztek a betakarítással. A termelők összesen 7,9 millió tonna gabonát arattak, melynek 68,7 százaléka búza, 20,5 százaléka árpa volt. Az őszi búza betakarított területe 976,3 ezer hektárt, termésmennyisége 5,4 millió tonnát tett ki, termésátlaga 4,2 százalékkal alacsonyabb a tavalyinál, országosan 5,6 tonna/hektár volt. Őszi és tavaszi árpából összesen a tavalyinál 2,5 százalékkal nagyobb területről, 295,8 ezer hektárról az előző évivel megegyező mennyiségű termést, mintegy 1,6 millió tonnát takarítottak be. A meggy szedése befejeződött a jelentés napjára. A meggytermés országos átlaga 26,9 százalékkal kisebb a tavalyinál, 3,9 tonnát tett ki hektáronként. A kajszi termésmennyisége 7,3 ezer tonna körül alakult, a 2024. évi össztermés csupán negyedét tette ki, termésátlaga 1,5 tonnát ért el hektáronként. Az őszibarack szedése a jelentés időpontjában 79,3 százalékon állt, a termésátlag az előző évhez képest

The harvesting of cereals was almost completed by 13 August 2025, with 1 million 477 thousand hectares harvested out of the planned 1 million 478 thousand hectares. In total, farmers harvested 7.9 million tonnes of cereals, of which 68.7 per cent was wheat and 20.5 per cent barley. The harvested area of winter wheat amounted to 976.3 thousand hectares, with a production of 5.4 million tonnes, the average yield was 4.2 per cent lower than last year, at 5.6 tonnes per hectare countrywide. A total of 295.8 thousand hectares of winter and summer barley were harvested, 2.5 per cent more than last year, with a production of approximately 1.6 million tonnes, the same as last year. The sour cherry harvest was completed by the day of the report. The national average sour cherry harvest was 26.9 per cent lower than last year, at 3.9 tonnes per hectare. Apricot production was around 7.3 thousand tonnes, only a quarter of the total production in 2024, with an average of 1.5 tonnes per hectare. 79.3 per cent of the peach harvest was completed by the time of the report, with an average yield of 3 tonnes per hectare, down 71.3 per cent compared to the previous year
