According to the data of AKI PÁIR, the producer price of slaughter chicken (live weight) was HUF 502.76 per kilogram in the first thirty-four weeks of 2023 in Hungary, which is 27 per cent higher than it was in the same period of the previous year. The producer price of slaughter turkey (live weight) was HUF 695.74 per kilogram, which is 32.9 per cent higher than it was in the same period of the previous year. A full-fat (extrudált) szóját (30–40 százalék nyersfehérje-, 17–23 százalék nyerszsír- és legfeljebb 12 százalék víztartalmú) 229 ezer forint/tonna áfa és szállítási költség nélküli áron értékesítették ugyanekkor. A fehércukor világpiaci átlagára 2023 júliusában 610 euró/tonna volt, 3 százalékkal maradt el a júniusitól.

According to the data of AKI PÁIR, in Hungary, the producer price of milling wheat (excluding VAT and transport costs) was HUF 64.4 thousand per tonne (–53 per cent compared to a year earlier), of feed wheat was HUF 61.8 thousand per tonne (–53 per cent), of feed maize was HUF 66.6 thousand per tonne (–47 per cent) in the last week of August. At the same time, the producer price of sunflower seed (with high oleic sunflower seed) was HUF 134.1 thousand per tonne (–50 per cent), of rapeseed was HUF 165 thousand per tonne (–41 per cent). Meanwhile, processors' sale price of full-fat (extruded) soybean (30–40 per cent crude protein,

According to the data of AKI PÁIR, at the Budapest Wholesale Market in week 40, the 15 mm+ sized cherry tomatoes were offered at the price of HUF 1500 per kilogram, equivalent to that in week 40 of 2022. Domestically grown Canadian orange-type pumpkins were sold at HUF 250 per kilogram, by 17 per cent lower than in week 40 of last year. The price of yellow onion was HUF 368 per kilogram in the 24-40th weeks of 2023, which is 67 per cent higher than it was in the same period of the previous year

Get PDFA magyarországi vágóhidakon 66,5 ezer darab szarvasmarhát vágtak le 2023 első három negyedévében, 10,3 százalékkal kevesebbet, mint az előző év azonos időszakában, sertésből 3 millió 279 ezret vágtak, 2,3 százalékkal kevesebbet (–79 ezer darab), mint 2022. január–szeptemberben. Baromfiból 165,5 millió darabot vágtak 2023 első három negyedévében, 7,3 százalékkal többet, mint a bázisidőszakban. A levágott baromfi élősúlya összesen 500,2 ezer tonna, vágott súlya (tisztított, bontott súly) 376,4 ezer tonna volt ebben az időszakban.
In Hungarian slaughterhouses 66.5 thousand cattle were slaughtered in the first three quarter of 2023, which is 10.3 per cent less than in the same period of the previous year, and 3 million 279 thousand pigs were slaughtered, 2.3 per cent less (–79 thousand heads) compared to the January–September 2022. In the group of poultry 165.5 million pieces were slaughtered in the first three quarter of 2023, 7.3 per cent more than in the base period. The total live weight of slaughtered poultry was 500.2 thousand tons, and the carcass weight was 376.4 thousand tons during this period

Get PDFMagyarország vetőmag-szaporító területe 2022-ben a Nemzeti Élelmiszerlánc-biztonsági Hivatal (Nébih) adatai szerint az összes szemlélt terület alapján 109 092 hektárt ért el (zöldség- és virágmagok kivételével), az előző év azonos időszakához mérten 10 százalékkal lett kevesebb. Ez a terület a hazai szántóterület 2,6 százalékát tette ki. Magyarország az európai rangsorban – hasonlóan a korábbi évekhez – az előkelő nyolcadik helyet foglalta el 2022-ben is. A vizsgált időszakban összesen 326 511 tonna vetőmag került fémzárolásra, amely 7,9 százalékos csökkenést mutatott az előző évhez képest. Az előállított mennyiség mérséklődésével párhuzamosan a szaporítóterület nagysága is csökkent 2021-hez viszonyítva. Hazai termesztésben az őszi búza értékesítési volumene volt a legnagyobb a vizsgált évben, ezt követte az őszi árpa és a hibrid kukorica. Értékben a sorrend pedig a következőképpen alakult 2022-ben: hibrid kukorica, őszi búza és napraforgó. Az őszi és tavaszi kalászosok közül a rozs ára, míg a hibrid vetőmagoknál az őszi káposztarepce ára volt a legmagasabb tonnára vetítve.

According to the National Food Chain Safety Office (NFCSO/Nébih), the total area under seed production in Hungary in 2022 will reach 109 092 hectares (excluding vegetable and flower seeds), down 10 per cent compared to the same period last year. This area accounted for 2.6 per cent of the national arable area. As in previous years, Hungary was ranked eighth in Europe in 2022. In the period under review, a total of 326 511 tonnes of seeds were placed in metal storage, a decrease of 7.9 per cent compared to the previous year. The reduction in the quantity produced was accompanied by a reduction in the area planted compared to the previous year. In domestic production, winter wheat sales volumes were the highest in the year under review, followed by winter barley and hybrid maize. In value terms, the order in 2022 was as follows: hybrid maize, winter wheat and sunflower. The highest price per tonne of winter and summer cereals was for rye, while the highest price per tonne for hybrid seeds was for winter rape

Get PDFA kiadvány a mezőgazdasági kockázatkezelési rendszer I–IV. pillérének működését és eredményeit mutatja be a 2022-es évre vonatkozóan. Az elemzés célja, hogy segítséget nyújtson a rendszer irányítójának, az Agrárminisztériumnak a jogszabályi háttér esetleges változtatásához, valamint tájékozódási pontot jelentsen a termelők, a biztosítótársaságok és biztosítói egyesületek részére.
Az értékelés első részében áttekintjük a jogszabályi háttér 2022. évi változásait, valamint a tárgyévet jellemző időjárási jelenségeket. Majd az I. és a II. pillér eredményeit értékeljük járásonként, veszélynemenként, méretkategóriánként és ágazati bontásban, továbbá megvizsgáljuk a biztosítási díjak változását az „A”, „B”, „C”, illetve kiegészítő biztosítások esetében külön-külön is. Ezt követően ismertetjük a III. pillér működésének elmúlt évi tapasztalatait. Végül bemutatjuk a kockázatkezelési rendszer IV. pillérét, a mezőgazdasági krízisbiztosítási rendszert.

The publication reviews the achievements and the operation of the Hungarian Agricultural Risk Management System (HARMS) in 2022. The aim of the analysis is to assist the system manager, the Ministry of Agriculture, to make changes in the legal framework of HARMS, as well as to provide a point of reference for farmers, insurance companies and associations.
In the first part, the regulatory background for 2022 and the weather phenomena in the current year are reviewed. The results of Pillars 1 and 2 were evaluated by districts, type of hazards, farm size categories and sectors. In addition, analysis of changes in the subsidised insurance categories (‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’ insurances) and the additional insurance fee were conducted. The experiences of the operation of Pillar 3 were summarized. Finally, the Agricultural Crisis Insurance System (Pillar 4) evaluation was conducted, that is the latest income stabilization tool of the Hungarian Agricultural Risk Management System
