According to data from the AKI Market Price Information System (MPIS), the producer price of slaughter chicken (live weight) in Hungary was HUF 445.0 per kilogram in the first thirty-eight weeks of 2025. This is an increase of 7.2 per cent compared to the same period of the previous year. Meanwhile, the producer price of slaughter turkey (live weight) was HUF 640.0 per kilogram, representing an 8.3 per cent increase compared to the same period of the previous year

According to the data of the AKI Market Price Information System (MPIS), in Hungary, the average producer price of raw milk was HUF 199.88 per kilogram in September 2025, it increased in the last month by 1 per cent, compared to September 2024 by 15 per cent. Concurrently, compared to August 2025, the fat content increased by 0.05 percentage points, the protein content by 0.08 percentage points and the base price did not change. A zsírtartalom stagnálása és a fehérjetartalom 0,04 százalékpontos romlása, valamint az alapár 4 százalékos növekedése mellett a nyerstej átlagára 5 százalékkal emelke-dett 2024 decemberében a 2024. novemberihez képest, és 24 százalékkal meghaladta az előző év azo-nos hónapjának átlagárát. A nyerstej kiviteli ára 213,14 forint/kilogramm volt 2024 decemberében, az előző havihoz képest 9 százalékkal csökkent, míg az előző év azonos hónapjához viszonyítva 23 százalékkal nőtt. According to the data of AKI Market Price Information System (MPIS), the national average producer price of raw milk in Hungary was HUF 200.93 per kilogram in December 2024. The fat content did not change, the protein content decreased by 0.04 percentage, the base price by 4 per cent, the average price by 5 per cent higher in December 2024 compared to November 2024, and the average price was by 24 per cent higher than in the same month of the previous year. The export price of raw milk was HUF 213.14 per kilogram in December 2024, it decreased in one month by 9 per cent, compared to the same month of the previous year increased by 23 per cent. The export price was by 6 per cent higher than the average producer price. According to the data of AKI MPIS, the raw milk export increased by 8 per cent in December 2024 compared to December 2023

Get PDFA magyarországi vágóhidakon 84,8 ezer darab szarvasmarhát vágtak le 2024-ben, 4,4 százalékkal kevesebbet, mint az előző évben, sertésből 4 millió 782 ezret vágtak, 6,5 százalékkal többet (+292 ezer darab), mint 2023-ban. Baromfiból 237 millió darab került a vágóhidakra 2024-ben, ami 5,8 százalékkal meghaladta a bázisidőszak értékét. A levágott baromfi élősúlya összesen 726,4 ezer tonna, vágott súlya (tisztított, bontott súly) 544,6 ezer tonna volt ebben az időszakban.

In Hungarian slaughterhouses 84.8 thousand cattle were slaughtered in 2024, which is 4.4 per cent less than in the previous year, and 4 million 782 thousand pigs were slaughtered, 6.5 per cent more (+292 thousand heads) compared to 2023. In case of poultry 237 million pieces were slaughtered in 2024, 5.8 per cent more than in the base period. The total live weight of slaughtered poultry was 726.4 thousand tons, and the carcass weight was 544.6 thousand tons during this period

According to the data of the AKI Market Price Information System (MPIS), in Hungary, the average producer price of raw milk was HUF 208.55 per kilogram in February 2025, 1 per cent higher than in the last month and 27 percent higher than in February 2024. Concurrently, compared to January 2025, the fat content decreased by 0.02 percentage points, the protein content remained unchanged and the base price increased by 1 per cent.
The export price of raw milk was HUF 196.46 per kilogram in February 2025, 1 per cent lower than in the previous month and representing a 26 per cent increase compared to the same month last year. At the same time raw milk exports decreased by 15 per cent year-on-year
