Rhetoric about ”Zhou guan” of Fan Pao
Get PDF康熙帝、雍正帝、乾隆帝の三代に仕えた儒者の一人に方苞がいる。方苞は『周礼』『儀礼』『礼記』の三礼の学問を深め、三礼義疏館の副総裁を務めた。本論考は方苞の『周礼』解釈を、その修辞法分析という観点から探るものである。方苞は『周礼』夏官の大司馬こそ、聖人の遺徳が込められた文章と考えていた。大司馬の記述は軍事演習に関するものであるが、その文章は「詳」「略」を組み合わせたもので、詳しく書くことで大規模な演習であることを示し、略して書くことで小規模の演習であることを示していると考えていた。また方苞は『周礼』と『春秋』とを関連付けてもいた。『春秋』は春秋の筆法とも呼ばれる独特な修辞法を有している。その修辞法は『春秋』だけでなく『周礼』にも使われていると方苞は考えており、それが大司馬の文章に当てはめられた。また方苞は、「義法」という文章創作の理論を唱えていたが、これも大司馬の修辞法と一致するものとされた。方苞の唱えた「義法」は文章創作の理論に止まらず、経書を解釈する一つの視点でもあったことを解明することができた
Introduction of Experiment to Pre-entrance Education
Get PDF大学で学ぶ物理学の模擬体験として、機械工学科の早期合格者に対して物理学の演習を入学前スクーリングで実施してきたが、入学前教育として充分な効果が得られていなことが判明した。他大学での成功例を参考にして、物理学のスクーリングに実験を導入することにした。高校生でも理解できるように、振り子の周期から重力加速度を決定する実験を実施することにした。実験はグループワークとして行わせたが、参加者は積極的に実験に取り組み、与えられた役割を果たしていた。実験導入の効果を確認するために実施したアンケートによると、殆どの参加者は実験内容を充分に理解できたということである。また、高校で物理学の実験を殆ど経験してないので、今回のスクーリングは有意義であったと回答した者もおり、スクーリングへの実験の導入は概ね成功と考えられる
A Study of Industrial Education Policy in the Period of High Economic Growth－A Perspective from the Training Institute for Engineering Teachers of Kyushu University－
Get PDF高度経済成長期には、国民所得倍増計画のもと大量の技術者の養成が必要となり、高等専門学校の創設や工業高校の増設をはじめ、さまざまな工業教育に関する教育政策が講じられた。全国に9か所設置された国立工業教員養成所もその一環として臨時的に制度化されたものである。さらに今日もなお継続している工業の教員免許状に関する特例措置も同時期の教育職員免許法の改正によって制度化された。戦後日本の最初の大きな学校制度改革にもなった種々の工業教育に関する教育政策は、相互に深く関連し合っており、共通の教育的課題の要因になったと考えらえる。本稿では、これまで研究の対象とされることがほとんどなかった国立工業教員養成所に着眼し、九州大学工業教員養成所を対象として、九州大学大学文書館所蔵の第一次的資料をもとに開所から閉所までを通し、学生の動向、教員組織、教育課程等について調査を行った。その結果の分析をもとに、工業教育の制度上の課題について高等専門学校及び工業高校と比較しつつ考察し、新たな視座から高度経済成長期の工業教育政策の特質について明らかにした
Psychological Effects of Refraining from Extracurricular Activities in University Students －In Self-restraint Situation Investigated by TDMS－
Get PDF本研究の目的は、学生生活において正課外活動の制限・停止・再開がどのように心理的影響を及ぼすかについて検証を行い、大学生の正課外活動における心理的効果を検証する資料を得ることであった。まとめると以下のようになる。①正課外活動の自粛は学生の活性、安定、快適、覚醒すべてにマイナスの影響を与えていた。②運動可能であった学生の心理状態は、正課外活動停止になり、一気に「無気力・抗うつのエリア」、「緊張・不安のエリア」に移動した。③正課外活動の停止から、再開することにより、「作業に適したエリア」へ誘導され、精神的健康度の改善に影響を与えた。④活動不可群は自粛期間では覚醒が抑えられ、快適度も低く、「自分だけ活動できない」状態であり、緊急事態宣言の全面解除により「全員が活動できない」状況になり、ストレスから解放されたのではないかと推察される。⑤活動自粛状況が活性を抑え、不快な状態となり、深い眠りに陥り、それが長期にわたると回復は難しくなると考えられる

Get PDF本稿では、教職課程の集大成の科目である「教職実践演習」について、これまでの本学における実態をふまえた上で、令和3年度の取組状況を振り返り、諸課題の認識とともに改善に向けての具体的な考察を行った。課題を整理・考察する際、「教職実践演習」の取組上の課題だけにとどめるのではなく、専門学科や初年次教育との接続関係を補助線としながら広く本学教職課程全体の課題の素描を試みた。本学における「教職実践演習」の大きな課題は「履修カルテの活用」であった。換言すれば、「振り返り／省察」（Reflection）を促す機会とその実質化が本学教職課程における大きな課題であると言える。この課題を解決していくために、専門学科や初年次教育との有機的な連携が今後より一層求められる
Teacher Perceptions of an Online Extensive Reading Platform
Get PDFExtensive reading (ER) has been shown to have a number of positive effects on learning a foreign language. Improvements in vocabulary size, reading fluency and comprehension, and grammatical accuracy are just some of the outcomes of extensive reading programs. Since 2011, extensive reading at Sojo University has been carried out through the use of graded readers, typically in the form of physical books made available to students either in class or through the Self-Access Learning Center (SALC). Recently, the popularity of reading texts in digital format has increased with the ubiquitous ownership of portable devices such as smartphones, tablets, and lightweight laptops. In April 2018, all second-year students at Sojo University were required to purchase a subscription to a website known as Xreading (www.xreading.com), which offers hundreds of graded readers in digital format. This study examines teacher perceptions of the platform. A total of nine teachers participated in the study, including the authors of the paper, and the results appear to indicate that teachers feel extensive reading in general is a worthwhile activity but difficult to implement in this context. Results also show that teachers feel the online platform, Xreading, needs to improve in several areas before providing a significant advantage over physical books
Conversations as a Holistic Assessment Tool : An Action Research Report
Get PDFAs Japanese educational policy places greater emphasis on spoken communication skills (MEXT, 26 September 2014), a greater need arises for appropriate assessments that can provide meaningful information to all stakeholders. This paper presents data collected from student performances on an experimental spoken English assessment task conducted at a Japanese university. Designed as the foundation for a reconstructed English communication curriculum for first-year university students enrolled in compulsory English classes (Tempest, 2018), the assessment task elicited free-form conversation, which was then transcribed and analyzed for specific metrics of spoken L2 output. Data deriving from student-generated transcriptions of recorded conversations included total words spoken, total turns taken, average turn length, and longest turn length. Preliminary analysis of the data indicates positive student gains over the course of the semester. As an investigative report of the assessment task trial period, few claims can be made at this point. However, future studies are forthcoming with support from JSPS KAKENHI grant number 19K13309
Assist Gas Effects on the Laser Cutting of Woods―Influences of Assist Gas Flow for Cutting Quality―
Get PDF木材は様々な産業で使用されており、一般的には機械的な加工法が適用されている。近年、炭酸ガスレーザを用いた木材の切断加工や彫刻加工が注目されており、装飾品などの微細加工技術として注目されている。しかしながら、レーザ加工はパラメータが多く、その条件によって加工品質が大きく左右される。例えば、レーザ光やアシストガスに関する条件を最適化する必要がある。通常、レーザ出力などのレーザ光に関するパラメータは経験的に調整されるが、アシストガスについては考慮されることが少ない。そこで、本研究では、炭酸ガスレーザを用いた高品位レーザ切断加工を目指して、実験的および理論的にアシストガスの効果について検討した。圧縮空気によるアシストガスのノズル高さ、ノズル径、流量をパラメータとして、実験的に切断加工性状を評価した。また、流体解析により、切断溝に対するアシストガス流れを理論的に求めて、アシストガスが切断加工性状に及ぼす効果を考察した。その結果、ノズル高さ、ノズル径、アシストガス流量は、レーザ光出口側の切断溝幅に影響を及ぼし、アシストガスは切断加工性状を制御する重要なパラメータであることが明らかとなった
