Implementation of Information Literacy Education Through Online Education
Get PDF2020年度前期は、covid-19の影響で全国の大学が急遽オンラインでの講義実施に踏み切らざるを得なくなった学期となった。本学も例外ではなく、様々な検討の後ほとんどの授業がオンラインで実施されることとなったが、教職員とともに学生も対応を迫られ、遠隔授業の基盤である情報活用能力（情報リテラシー）が改めて注目される学期になったと言える。成績を始めとした学生の学修状況を示す指標がオンライン化によりどのような影響を受けたかについては、今後各種の調査が実施されるであろうが、本稿では、初年次情報リテラシー科目である「情報処理基礎」の一担当者として、ここに至るまでの「情報処理基礎」の授業改善の流れを概観し、それが急遽オンライン化の必要に迫られた際にどう機能したかについて検証を行う。併せて情報基礎教育そのものを遠隔授業で実践した際に見えてきた課題を明らかにし、その課題にどう対応していくかについての検討を報告する

Get PDF菊池水田ごぼうは、農林水産省が認定する地理的表示に登録された熊本県菊池市の誇るブランド農作物である。その品質を維持するためには、水田ごぼう畑における雑草の除草作業が必要不可欠である。これに対し、除草剤などの農薬を用いる除草方法を採用することも考えられるが、菊池地域農業協同組合では安全・安心な農業を目指しており、この除草方法は推奨されていない。そのため、作業者の手作業による除草作業が主流である。さらに寒冷時期の栽培では、トンネル（小型ビニールハウス）を設置し、人がトンネルに屈んで入り、雑草除草作業を実施している。しかしながら、寸法が幅1200 mm・高さ750 mm・長さ100 m程度であるトンネル内の作業は大変過酷である。そこで著者らは、トンネル被覆された菊池水田ごぼう畑における雑草除草ロボットの開発に取り組んでいる。本稿では、これまでに製作した試作1～3号機に対して抽出された課題を報告するとともに、新たに製作する試作4号機の設計概念を述べる

Get PDF本報告では過去の3年間に引き続き、全教員の更なる授業改善に資することを目的として、ベストティーチング賞（BTA）受賞教員の授業構築の特徴を、BTA受賞教員への学生による授業評価と受賞者へのアンケート結果を比較して検証を行った。その結果、受賞された各先生方は独自の方法で “学生との間合いを詰めていく”ことに注力されていること、今回2回目の受賞となった先生方の、その授業技術・熱意の健在さ、を窺い知ることができた。また、受講者数が20名のクラスでも100名を超えるクラスでも、教授者の授業技術が学生を高いモチベーションへと導くことが示された
Practice Report by the PBL Type Class for the Art Department 3 Annual Student
Get PDF2019年度前期に3年次学生を対象とした「キャリアデザインⅠ」（芸術学部）において、熊本県内企業と協働授業を行い、PBL（Project Based Learning）に取り組んだ。全15コマ中5コマを使って、企業等からの課題提示、グループワーク、発表および企業等のフィードバック、振り返り（自己評価シートの作成）を実施した。学生が企業からの現実的な課題に取り組むことで、協調性・行動力・責任感の必要性を自覚したことは有益であったが、議論そのものへの主体的・積極的な向き合い方、および発信力の不足が露呈した。また2学科（美術・デザイン）の自己評価では、「社会人基礎力」・「PBL型授業を通して一番学んだこと」について、美術学科の学生は「前に踏み出す力」・「社会に出るのに必要なこと」を、デザイン学科の学生は「考え抜く力」・「チームワーク」をそれぞれ大きな気づきであったと評価しており、学科による違いが大きく表れたので、そのことも含めて報告を行う

Get PDFThe emergence of the perspective that museum is an organic entity that develops itself like a living organism in the spun history, is due to the museum’s own vision and independence from existing frameworks. It goes without saying that this was the case in Europe in the latter half of the 20th century, when museums began to develop an awareness of independent administrative guidelines and self-reliant governance. In particular, museum, which was born during the French Civil Revolution at the end of the 18th century, is a place that embodies the spirit of freedom nurtured from the 19th century to the 20th century. In the course of the transition of modern history, it was inevitable that the French public museums, which were born as products of each era, would develop a consciousness of introspection and a desire for change. The discourse that served as an important impetus for this was the “Musée imaginaire” advocated by André Malraux （1901-1976）. The influence of the concept of the “Musée imaginaire” on curators of art museums since the latter half of the 20th century is immeasurable. Through many projects inspired by the “Musée imaginaire” in which I was involved as a curator, I explore the whereabouts of curations based on the trend of École de Paris. Building museology around the École de Paris and developing it through reflection reveals the multi-layered structure that forms the École de Paris. From the perspective of current research on the École de Paris, I explore aspects of the origin and development of the term École de Paris, ethnic issues such as the exclusion and exclusion of foreigners, especially Jews, and the upheaval of the 20th century. The development of the École de Paris as a cornerstone museology for museum of fine arts prompted us to rethink that era of change. It focuses on aspects of the École de Paris movement 100 years ago and contemporary issues such as roots and identity of artists

Get PDF近年、急激な18歳人口の減少に伴い、大学は定員充足の観点から大学全入時代と称されている。これに伴う入学者全体の学力低下が著しく、10年以上前から学力の二極化が顕在化している。特に私立大学では、退学者低減を意識するあまり、教員は低学力層への教育的対応に追われ、講義内容の希薄化を招き、在学生の質保証が困難になるという“負のスパイラル”に陥るケースは少なくない。このような背景から本学では教育刷新プロジェクトSEIP（Sojo Educational Innovation Project）が2010年に答申された。この答申はガイドラインではなく、教員および学生の意識改革を基本とし、学生と教員の双方向教育によって学生個々の能力を引き出すための教育の方向性を示した指針である。この理念を踏まえ、本学機械工学科では学生自身の持つ能力に“気づき”を与え、専門知識を活用できるアクティブラーニングを盛り込んだ“緩やかなコース制”を有するカリキュラムを再構築し、2013年度から運用を開始した。本報告では、そのカリキュラムを紹介するとともに教育実績と今後の課題について記述する

Get PDF本稿は、本学総合教育センターに所属する教職に関する科目担当教員が共同して「教職実践演習」の実践を報告するものである。令和5年3月に刊行された『崇城大学紀要』（第48巻）に「『教職実践演習』の現状と課題（1）―崇城大学における令和3年度の取組を中心に―」と題した実践報告に次ぐ第2報である。
教員不足問題が顕在化している只中にあるからこそ、教師の質保証に焦点を当て、教職課程教育全体の改善に取り組んでいる。「教職実践演習」では教職に関する科目担当教員・専門学科教員の協働のみならず、外部から講師を招くこと等を積極的に展開している。教職を志す履修学生に対して多くの有益な情報や刺激を与えることができている。その一方で、本学が開放制であるがゆえに、履修学生の意欲が個々人でばらついている等の課題も確認された。すべての履修学生が教員として最低限必要な資質能力を身につけるだけでなく、広く教育に対する関心を高める契機となるよう科目内容の改善を図っていきたい
Measuring Learner Autonomy: A Confirmatory Factor Analysis of Scores on an EFL Learner Autonomy Questionnaire
Get PDFFour different models of the EFL Learner Autonomy Questionnaire, Which was originally developed by Shimo(2008),are examined for plausibility in this study. While the importance of learner autonomy in language education has been frequently discussed, there has been little quantitative research because of the lack of suitable instrumentaion(Apple,2011;Benson,2001;Macaskill&Taylor,2010;Shimo,2008). The instrument examined in the present study is a self-report scale comprising 18 items originally scored under a two-factor model(Shimo,2008). In subsequent research, Shimo(2009) tested four other models emphasizing two of these four as preferable.11000955541
Becoming an Autonomous Learner Successes and Failures
Get PDFIn this research project, several classes of sedond-year Sojo university studens were asked to complete an independent study project of their own choosing for one semester. Over the course of the semester, they were asked to track their total English usage and study habits. The study also examined students' beliefs about their own language abilities and the amount of time they acutually studied outside the lassroom, as well as whether thei used the SALC to aid them in their independent study project.11000955542
