Mean pressures under the ischio-sacral region while seated on different cushion types.
Prolonged sitting is common in wheelchair-bound individuals that can lead to pressure-related injuries, especially to tissues over the ischial tuberosities and sacrum. These areas are susceptible to pressure ulcers, which affect 2.5 million people and cause 60,000 deaths in the US every year. Off-loading seat cushions can prevent or manage these injuries by relieving and redistributing the pressure from vulnerable tissues. This study compared a novel ischio-sacral offloading (ISO) seat cushion, a bare office chair, and a retail cushion in terms of their pressure distributions within the ischio-sacral region under three sitting postures: upright, reclined, and forward leaning. 10 healthy adults (age: 34.10±13.83 years, body mass: 82.37 ±12.57 kg, and BMI: 27.26 ± 4.13 kg/m2) participated in the study. A pressure-sensitive mat was used to collect data under the ischial tuberosities and sacrum for 4 minutes of seating in each position, and for all conditions. Predicting Tapping Coordination Between Partners With the Two-Frequency Resonance Map
Individuals often coordinate their actions towards shared goals through a phenomenon known as inter-personal multifrequency coordination (IMC). Behaviors in IMC synchronize at varying tempos (p:q, e.g. 2:1). With any ratio combination being possible, some are more stable to perform than others. The Farey tree predicts the performance stability of these ratios by organizing them into levels based on a mathematical relationship. Using this model, intra-personal coordination has been studied and shows that higher level ratios (unstable) tend to transition to lower level ratios (stable) over time. However, similar research on IMC has not been conducted yet. Given the widespread applicability of this model, we hypothesized that bimanual IMC adheres to similar principles as intra-personal MC. 21 dyads faced each other, holding a horizontal bar with their dominant hand pronated, while extending their index finger. They performed 16 multifrequency ratios through 1-minute trials (1:1, 2:1, 3:1, 3:2, 4:1, 4:3, 5:1, 5:2, 5:3, 5:4, 7:2, 7:3, 7:4, 7:5, 8:3, 8:5). Each trial involved one member tapping to the \u27p\u27 frequency while the other synchronized to \u27q\u27, using individual headphones. Participants initially synchronized taps to their metronome for 15 seconds with closed eyes, then the metronome stopped, and they attempted to maintain their frequency while observing their partner for 45 seconds. Kinematic data were captured with the Optotrak motion tracking system (100Hz). Phase angles were extracted from finger oscillations in five 10-second windows, plotted against each other, and subjected to linear regression to determine performed ratios. A multilevel model was applied, with the frequency ratio as the dependent variable, and Window, Intended Ratio, and their interaction as fixed effects. Physical security culture: The neglected foundation for effective security
Those tasked with protecting soft targets, including organizations, have tried to counteract threats against them by increasing security, yet the effectiveness of these measures remains largely unknown. Organizations, researchers, and practitioners can gain a more holistic understanding of how, when, why, and where security measures are effective (or ineffective) by examining organizational culture. The purpose of this paper more specifically is to build upon the current security culture models (i.e., Security Culture: Hofreiter et al., 2020: Nuclear Security Culture, IAEA, 2017) to propose a more comprehensive framework and nomological network of physical security culture that can be applied to organizations and soft targets. This article reviews the current understanding of physical security culture. Further, this article looks to the more developed information security culture and safety culture literatures to better understand how physical security culture may impact security outcomes in soft targets. This article also explores multiple avenues for future research that is needed to understand how physical security culture develops and how to best promote it for the health, safety, and security of employees

Similarly, in business finance, AI tools like chatbots and algorithms streamline processes, enhance productivity, and reduce costs. In investing, AI-driven solutions such as robo advisors offer superior returns by leveraging data analysis and eliminating human biases.
However, while AI promises transformative benefits, it also raises questions about the future of human involvement in finance. While certain tasks may become automated, human judgment remains essential, especially in complex decision-making scenarios. Moreover, the adoption of AI is a strategic imperative for financial institutions to remain competitive in a rapidly evolving landscape.
Looking ahead, the impact of AI on finance is poised to continue growing, potentially leading to profound shifts in how the industry operates. Investigation of Study Strategies in Undergraduate Preparation for the MCAT and Optimizing Preparation According to Current Medical Students
The Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) is a pivotal assessment for aspiring medical students, serving as a measure of undergraduate readiness in preparation for this huge advancement in their academic careers. Success on the MCAT requires content mastery, but to do that, strategic study approaches that are tailored to the individual, and comprehension of the test’s unique format and demands are essential. It is a common misconception that there are limited ways to study for the MCAT, while also sacrificing a legitimate understanding of the content. This project investigates further into identifying effective study methods for MCAT preparation with promise to provide recommendations for optimizing study strategies. Previous literature review suggests a combination of content review, frequent practice testing, and effective time management are key components for success on the MCAT. Here we identified primary and secondary study preparation resources of online-based curriculum that are geared toward effective study prep according to undergraduate students at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Furthermore, students in this study group explained the helpfulness of fellow peers and mentors that aided in the search for study resources that are geared most to their academic needs. We also collected evidence of effective practices from current medical students at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, to provide retrospective insight on their MCAT performance. Overall, this project aims to contribute insights into optimizing study approaches for MCAT success. Our findings seek to aid pre-med undergraduate students in their pursuit for higher education and study methods that extend into their medical school journey

Challenges in Social Media Text Analysis Data Abnormalities: •Ideological datasets often have excessive zeros, nonnormal distributions, and semi-continuous data, complicating accurate analysis, particularly for rare phenomena like radical language and hate speech (King & Zeng, 2001; Wiegand et al., 2019) . Traditional Methods\u27 Limitations: •Existing linguistic processing tools (e.g., LIWC, WordNet) struggle with dynamic and context-dependent language on platforms like Twitter (Tausczik & Pennebaker, 2010; Boyd, 2017).
