No full textLabour migrations are an integral part of the modern world. The opening of borders and labour markets resulted in increasing dynamism of searching for a better life, often aimed at consumption. Migration of parent/parents abroad in
search of work creates far-reaching consequences for the functioning of the family. There is the loosening of emotional bonds, and often-family breakdown. Thus, the objective of this study was to determine to what extent the migration of the
parent/parents affects the family situation of the child in middle school. The study
was conducted from February to May 2012, among 612 middle school students
from Pomeranian province.Migracje zarobkowe stanowią nieodłączny element współczesnego świata. Otwarcie granic i rynków pracy spowodowało wzrastający dynamizm poszukiwań lepszego życia, nastawionego często na konsumpcję. Niestety, wyjazd rodzica/rodziców za granicę w poszukiwaniu pracy stwarza daleko idące konsekwencje dla funkcjonowania rodziny. Występuje rozluźnienie więzi emocjonalnych, a często rozkład rodziny. Celem niniejszego opracowania było zatem określenie, na ile migracja zarobkowa rodzica/rodziców wpływa na sytuację rodzinną dziecka w wieku gimnazjalnym. Inactive status in Teacher Charter
No full textThe aim of this article is to present the procedure of termination of a contract of employment with a teacher employed by a state-run school on grounds not related to the employee, in particular placing on inactive status. This problem is of significant importance in the times of baby bust, when the demand for teaching services is decreasing. Baby bust is a ground for terminating employment that is
not related to the employee. The article presents the legal regulation in historical perspective and demonstrates legislative proposals. The legislator in the article 20 of the Teacher Charter established a particular procedure of termination of the contract of employment on the organisational grounds or due to partial liquidation of the employer. This procedure aimed at giving better protection measures
to teachers in comparison with the general regulation of the Act on group layoffs. Pursuant to the Teacher Charter, the institution aiming at protecting employment status of senior teachers was established under the name of „placing on inactive status”. This institution reflects the quasi-clerkship status of the teacher profession. This solution is similar to that provided by the Act on Civil Service. Its core is based on the requirement to re-employ the teacher in a given school in case there is a need to create a new workplace within 6 months from the date of inactive teacher’s application to retire.Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie procedur związanych z zakończeniem zatrudnienia nauczyciela mianowanego w szkole publicznej z przyczyn niedotyczących pracownika. Problem ten ma doniosłe znaczenie w czasie występowania niżu demograficznego, zmniejszającego zapotrzebowanie na pracę nauczyciela. Niż demograficzny stanowi przyczynę, która jest niezależna od pracownika. Artykuł przedstawia regulację w świetle historycznym i poddaje pod rozwagę postulaty de lege ferenda. Ustawodawca ustanowił w art. 20 Karty Nauczyciela szczególny tryb rozwiązywania stosunku pracy z przyczyn organizacyjnych albo
z powodu częściowej likwidacji zakładu pracy. Tryb ten ma na celu lepszą ochronę stosunku pracy niż wynika to z przepisów ogólnych zawartych w Ustawie o zwolnieniach grupowych. W przepisach Karty Nauczyciela jako przykładowa instytucja mająca zapewnić pełniejszą ochronę stosunku pracy nauczyciela mianowanego oraz dyplomowanego została przewidziana instytucja przejścia w „stan nieczynny”. Instytucja ta oddaje qusi-urzędniczy charakter zawodu nauczyciela. Rozwiązanie to jest podobne do przepisów ustawy o Korpusie Służby
Cywilnej. Jej istota sprowadza się do obowiązkowego przywrócenia z urzędu nauczyciela do pracy w danej placówce oświatowej, kiedy zaistnieje potrzeba utworzenia nowego miejsca pracy w okresie 6 miesięcy od dnia złożenia wniosku o przejście w stan spoczynku

No full textIn an evolving society, children and youth are an important part of the organized system of education and upbringing. The structure and functioning of the school system is constantly changing. Therefore, the process of development of children and young people should be guided by the properly prepared people, i.e. teachers. Education is an important social, economic and political investment. People’s education and qualifications are becoming the crucially important value of contemporary information civilization and societies based on knowledge. Teachers’ community is supposed to put into action two strategic notions of contemporary education: one is “to understand the world – to be guided by one’s feelings and instinct”, while the other, to prepare people for participation in continual education – “learning all life long”. In order to be able to do it, both competently and efficiently, it is necessary for the teacher to have the awareness of his or her own role and tasks and to continually improve their qualifications and skills as well as (strengthen) their motivation to take actions closely related to the challenges of contemporary information civilization and globalization of the worldW rozwijającym się społeczeństwie dzieci i młodzież stanowią ważny element zorganizowanego systemu edukacji i wychowania. Struktura i funkcjonowanie systemu szkolnego ulega ciągłym zmianom. W związku z tym, procesem rozwoju dzieci i młodzieży powinni kierować ludzie specjalnie do tego celu przygotowani, czyli nauczyciele. Edukacja jest ważną inwestycją społeczną, gospodarczą i polityczną. Get PDFThe main causes of majority of health problems in children and teenagers include incorrect health behaviors and adverse effects of socioeconomic environment. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of physical activity in the ‘Keep your body straight’ program on incorrect body postures in children aged 7-9 years. Material and methods. 1864 children in classes I-III of primary schools were included in the study. The assessment of posture was conducted in six half-year long editions under the 3-year program using a photogrammetric method and concerned the same group of pupils. Children participated in corrective activities as a part of the ‘Keep your body straight’ program. The above mentioned program positively influenced the torso bending angle to the left and less to the right. A similar effect was observed in the size of the maximum inclination of the atlas vertebra to the left, in the spinous process and to a lesser extent, in the inclination to the right. In addition, a positive effect was noticed in pelvic rotation in the transverse plane. Other features like the angle of shoulder line, the asymmetry of waist triangle height and width, the asymmetry of shoulders, shoulder blades and pelvis in frontal plane did not reveal any significant differences in the process. Conclusions. 1. Corrective activities of the ‘Keep your body straight’ program combined with education of parents are moderately effective means in the correction process of wrong postures in frontal and transverse planes in children of both sexes aged 7-9 years. 2. Physical activity applied within the program significantly influenced the vertical orientation of torso and maximum deviation of the spinous process of vertebrae in the frontal plane and the value of pelvic rotation in the transverse plane. 3. The effectiveness of the program can be enhanced by an individual approach to every ‘advanced incorrect’ posture in a child, which could not be achieved under the program due to insufficient funds of the school
