International Standards in the Field of Realization and Protection of the Freedom of Peaceful Assemblies in Ukraine
No full textThe objective of the article is to analyze particular aspects of the right of peaceful assembly at
the international level as a source of inspiration for the Ukrainian legislator. The need to adopt a specific
act on freedom of assembly by Ukraine has been emphasized. On the same time some international
standards with regard to protection of freedom of assembly that are to be met when drawing up such
piece of legislation has been presented. They refer in particular to the issues concerning the limitation
of the freedom of assembly in case of its conflicting with another important rights and interest of individuals
and of the democratic society. Furthermore, some crucial procedural aspects of freedom of
assembly have been discussed. Special emphasis is placed on the requirement of a prior notification of
an intent to organize a peaceful assembly as well as on issues concerning the permission to organize
two competing assemblies, a demonstration and a counterdemonstration.Przedmiot niniejszego artykułu stanowi analiza poszczególnych aspektów międzynarodowej
ochrony wolności pokojowych zgromadzeń jako źródło inspiracji dla ustawodawcy ukraińskiego.
Wskazano na konieczność przyjęcia przez Ukrainę ustawy regulującej wolność zgromadzeń oraz
omówiono standardy międzynarodowe, jakimi powinien kierować się ustawodawca ukraiński przy redagowaniu
takiego aktu. W szczególności dotyczy to zagadnienia ograniczania wolności pokojowych
zgromadzeń ze względu na ochronę innych ważnych praw i interesów jednostek oraz demokratycznego
społeczeństwa. Ponadto omówiono zagadnienia proceduralne, zwłaszcza zasady uprzedniego
zawiadomienia o zamiarze przeprowadzenia zgromadzenia oraz kwestie związane z umożliwieniem
jednoczesnego przeprowadzania manifestacji i kontrmanifestacji
Physical activity a healthy lifestyle in junior high school in Bydgoszcz
Get PDFLifestyle concept works on the basis of various sciences, including sociology, medicine, psychology and public health. It is a product of culture and has a strong social component, ie. The relationship of social affiliation. The aim of the study was to obtain information regarding the place of physical activity in a healthy lifestyle of young people from Bydgoszcz selected middle schools. The study was conducted in spring (late April and early May), 2012, among 1115 students of both sexes from selected Bydgoszcz junior high aged 14-16 years (548 boys and 567 girls. To collect basic data on the physical activity in a healthy lifestyle method was used diagnostic survey. Physical activity for the young people is a prerequisite for health and part of a healthy lifestyle. For physical activity makes them the most pleasure from doing exercise and improve efficiency. The activity they see the opportunity to shed extra pounds. The biggest barrier to physical activity is the lack of free time. Frequently young people in their free time listening to music. Most often respondents eat 3.4 and 5 meals per day. Every day, eat vegetables and fruits 45.0% of girls and 34.0% boys. Reaction to stressful situations is listening to music.Pojęcie styl życia funkcjonuje na gruncie różnych nauk, m.in. socjologii, medycyny, psychologii czy zdrowia publicznego. Jest wytworem kultury i ma wyraźny komponent społeczny, tj. związek z przynależnością społeczną. Celem badań było uzyskanie informacji dotyczącej miejsca aktywności fizycznej w zdrowym stylu życia młodzieży z wybranych bydgoskich gimnazjów. Badania przeprowadzono wiosną (na przełomie kwietnia i maja) 2012 roku, wśród 1115 uczniów obu płci z wybranych bydgoskich gimnazjów w wieku 14-16 lat (548 chłopców i 567 dziewcząt. Do zebrania podstawowych danych z zakresu aktywności fizycznej w zdrowym stylu życia posłużono się metodą sondażu diagnostycznego. Aktywność ruchowa dla badanej młodzieży jest warunkiem zdrowia i elementem zdrowego stylu życia. Do aktywności ruchowej najczęściej skłania ich przyjemność z uprawiania ćwiczeń i poprawa sprawności. W aktywności widzą możliwość zrzucenia zbędnych kilogramów. Barierą największą do aktywności fizycznej jest brak czasu wolnego. Najczęściej młodzież w czasie wolnym słucha muzyki, badani zjadają 3,4 i 5 posiłków dziennie. Codziennie spożywa warzywa i owoce 45,0% dziewcząt i 34,0% chłopców. Reakcją na sytuacje stresowe jest słuchanie muzyki
Psychophysiologic aspects of the problem of pirates activity in the world ocean as a kind of humanitarian crisis
Get PDFBackground. The profession of seafarer is linked with the contact of many dangerous occupational and ecological factors, which are harmful to seaman’s health and life.
Obiective. To analyze areas of constant pirate attacks are similar in their social, economic, psychological and medical components to other humanitarian disasters.
Materials and methods. The studies are undertaken on the base of Odessa National Marine Academy (ONMA) and Marine Training Center for seamen, who were passing sequencing employments and reattestation (58 persons, of whom 37 worked in hazardous areas for pirate attacks), students of the ONMA of correspondence form of education (CFE) - 43 persons, of whom 32 worked in hazardous areas pirate attacks, and students of full-time form of education (FTFE) - 89 persons (36 – after trips in hazardous areas), during simulator preparation and handing over of examinations. The survey and interviews were also conducted with 58 family members of seamen working in hazardous areas (mainly mothers and wives). A control group was made by the seamen of port fleet (32 persons) with zero risk of pirate attacks.
Results. Conducted interviews and questionnaires of seamen and cadets, who had returned from trips to the hazardous of pirate attacks areas, did not reveal significant changes in their psychophysiological status. This was also confirmed by data execution of psychological tests

No full textThe paper presents construction of Perception of Parenting Styles Questionnaire in its two versions: PPSQ-M (perception of mother's parenting style) and PPSQ-F (perception of father’s parenting style). The questionnaire is used for diagnosis of parenting style (delegating, selling, participating, telling) and the flexibility in the use of parenting style of parents in the perception of their children (children in school age to emerging adulthood). The questionnaire is based on the theoretical framework of Hersey and Campbell (1999) and the questionnaire for parents - Parenting Styles by Hersey and Campbell in Polish adaptation by Hornowska (2007). Several steps of constructing the questionnaire as well as its psychometric characteristics have been presented, The questionnaire obtained satisfactory results during reliability analysis using Cronbach’s method

To provide a background, it briefly describes renovation works from the 1840s. In August 1850 a committee was established to manage the works in the church. The works done at that time included repairing the roof, providing new windows, plastering and painting the church, painting the presbytery in ultramarine and decorating it with 300 metal stars imitating the fi rmament, repairing and repainting choir stalls, loges and pews, replacing the steps at the altars and the stone flooring in two chapels and the sacristy, re-gilding the altars, cleaning paintings, repairing the organ, funding a new ciborium and repairing the galleries adjacent to the church. The article also mentions a dispute between the Church and state authorities in the 1850s over who was to finance the repairs of the galleries which used to lead from the bishops’ castle to the church and then over the Cracow Gate to the Seminary. It was finally agreed that the responsibility for the condition and repairs of the galleries would be divided between the parish, the city and the canons
