No full textThe article presents Polish adaptation of the Rumination-Reflection Questionnaire (RRQ) designed by Paul D. Trapnell and Jennifer D. Campbell. lt starts with theoretical background that refers to the distinction between ruminative and reflective types of private self-consciousness and presents psychometric properties of the Polish Version of RRQ. Obtained results (N = 798) are similar to the results of studies conducted on the original version of RRQ which shows that the adapted version of RRQ is reliable and theoretically valid instrument and can be used in scientific research

Family participation in the processes of creating the society and its role in the public culture, religion and education is still a current problem. The family becomes the place of originating and experiencing values, culture, relationship, and personal models. This study presents the concept of the family as a social environment whose basic function is "giving birth" to creatures in many aspects: biological, spiritual, cultural, axiological and social. Martial Arts in Physical Education of children and youth - expansion or exodus of the example of Bydgoszcz
No full textAim: Physical Education in the Primary School and Middle School can be implemented in many ways. One of them is martial arts which developed in Poland in recent years. The aim of the study was to verify the quantitative and qualitative expression of martial arts, children and young people in their school environment Material and methods: personal interview information was collected using the data cataloged in: school documentation, in pupils sport clubs and other sport clubs. Results: Results of this study do not give a clear answer these questions, but should provide a starting point for future trainers and managers of combat sports to consultation with Department of Education in Bydgoszcz
Conclusions: The processes of assimilation combat sports of children and adolescents in the school environment should be a compatible monitored both at Sport Department and the Department of Education in Bydgoszcz.Cel: Wychowanie Fizyczne w Szkole Podstawowej i Gimnazjum może być realizowane na wiele sposobów. Jednym z nich są sporty walki których rozkwit nastąpił w Polsce w ostatnich latach. Celem badań było sprawdzenie ilościowe i jakościowe ekspresji sportów walki dzieci i młodzieży z uwzględnieniem środowiska szkolnego Materiały i metody: informacje zbierano wywiadem bezpośrednim korzystając również danych katalogowanych w dokumentacji szkolnej, w uczniowskich klubach sportowych i innych klubach sportowych. Wyniki: Wyniki przeprowadzonych badań nie dają na postawione pytanie jednoznacznej odpowiedzi, aczkolwiek powinny stanowić punkt wyjścia dla przyszłych trenerów i menadżerów sportów walki do konsultacji z władzami oświatowymi w Bydgoszczy. Wnioski: Przebieg procesów asymilacji sportów walki dzieci i młodzieży w środowisku szkolnym winien być priorytetowo monitorowany zarówno na poziomie władz sportowych jaki i władz oświatowych w Bydgoszczy

strengths, virtues and advantages. The high prevalence of depression and anxiety among young people,
decreasing life satisfaction, and the positive correlation between positive emotion and engagement in learning
all confirm that well-being ought to be taught at school. The article comprises two parts. The aim of the first
is to present some theoretical issues related to positive psychology. A further part of the article demonstrates
selected school programs grounded in the principles of positive psychology.Psychologia pozytywna, w przeciwieństwie do psychologii klinicznej, koncentrującej się na patologii oraz
deficytach, skupiona jest na ludzkich siłach, cnotach oraz zaletach. Szeroko rozpowszechniony problem depresji
i stresu wśród młodych ludzi, malejące zadowolenie z życia oraz pozytywna korelacja pomiędzy pozytywnymi
emocjami a zaangażowaniem w naukę przemawiają za tym, aby nauka dobrostanu odbywała się w szkole.

No full textThe article is devoted to the voluntary Labour Corps (Ochotnicze hufce Pracy, OhP) which presently play an
important role, both in the educational market and in the labour market. The first part presents information
on the structure and activities undertaken by the OhP: 1) with respect to education and fostering; 2) with
respect to combating marginalization and social exclusion of young people. in the second part there is
a presentation of entities responsible for implementation of career counselling, employment agency and
vocational training. To conclude, examples are indicated of activities (co-)financed with European Union funds
as undertaken by the OhP Lubusz voivodeship headquarters.Artykuł poświęcony jest Ochotniczym hufcom Pracy, które odgrywają współcześnie znaczącą rolę zarówno
na rynku edukacyjnym, jak też na rynku pracy. W pierwszej części przedstawiono informacje dotyczące
struktury oraz podejmowanych przez OhP zadań: 1) w zakresie kształcenia i wychowania; 2) w zakresie
zatrudnienia oraz przeciwdziałania marginalizacji i wykluczeniu społecznemu młodzieży. W drugiej części

Neuropsychological Functioning After Traumatic Injury to The Orbito-Frontal Area: A Polish Phineas Gage
Get PDFThe patient (PG, age 27, owner/operator of a construction company) suffered a severe head injury after a fall from scaffolding
at a construction site. Two wooden pegs were broken off and driven deep-into his cranium, from left to right. However,
the patient not only survived the injury, he did not even lose consciousness after the accident. The damage to the
brain affected primarily the frontal lobes. The upper peg penetrated the right frontal lobe. In the years that followed neurosurgery, we observed a pattern of behavioral disorders consistent with frontal lobe syndrome, similar to the famous
19th-century case of Phineas Gage. These symptoms make it impossible for the patient to adapt to social and cultural life.
The purpose of our research was to describe the profile of negative and positive behavioral disturbances in PG, and to
determine whether these behaviors developed over time into orbitofrontal syndrome. Microgenetic theory is used to interpret
the formation of the symptom
