Demographic problems of Poland
This paper analyses and discusses the basic demographic problems of Poland in the recent years. The decreasing number of Poles is the result of a rapid decline in the total fertility rate of Polish women and the emigration of mostly young people to West European and other countries in search of work and better conditions for living Those highly negative phenomena accelerate the process of ageing of Poland’s population which has the grave consequences to further socio-economic development of this country. Some solutions of those problems were discussed and assessed in the second part of this paper with special emphasis on the recent demographic policy carried out in Poland.Artykuł zawiera analizę i ocenę podstawowych problemów demograficznych Polski w okresie ostatnich kilku lat. Zmniejszająca się
liczba ludności Polski jest efektem gwałtownego spadku dzietności polskich kobiet w wieku rozrodczym oraz emigracji głównie ludzi młodych
do krajów zachodnich w poszukiwaniu pracy i lepszych warunków życia.

Kazimierz Ajdukiewicz on World-View and Unity of Philosophy
The aim of this paper is to present Kazimierz Ajdukiewicz’s views on the concept of world-view and rationality of religious beliefs. The following presentation is closely related to his “unity thesis”, formulated by Ajdukiewicz himself and claiming that there are close connections among the basic philosophical disciplines: epistemology, metaphysics and ethics. The unity thesis adds to the evidence for a great influence of Franz Brentano and Bernard Bolzano on Polish philosophy. Both thinkers renewed some classical ideas in the philosophy of the nineteenth century and one of the essential features thereof was a close connection of basic philosophical disciplines. Such a non-reductive approach to philosophy was rejected by the positivist movement and also by pragmatism and Marxism, which were anti-metaphysically and anti-philosophically oriente
Subject or Object? Disputation between Józef Tischner and Mieczysław Krąpiec about the Conception of a Human Being
The disputation between Józef Tischner and Mieczysław A. Krąpiec was a disputation
between subjective and objective understanding of a human being, i.e. between
Cartesian tradition and Thomistic tradition. In Cartesian tradition, epistemology is
taken as perspective of viewing human being, in Thomistic tradition – metaphysics.
A characteristic of the disputation was regarding just one of these perspectives as
appropriate. Effectively it was the disputation about exclusivity in philosophical
explication of a human being. This approach does not seem to be the right one. Both
of these approaches to human being are needed. They enable taking a look at a human
being from the inside and outside. They do not exclude each other but they complete
each other. Particularly interesting may be employing them in considerations concerning
human individuality and the way of experiencing it
Przedsiębiorstwo w okresie transformacji : ochrona technologii produkcji, know-how i bezpieczeństwo socjalne załogi. Analiza mikroekonomiczna
On the basis of empirical examples, this paper presents a problem of an enter prise safe operation in the economic space of a free market constructed in Poland after 1989. When discussing the abovementioned issue, a particular attention was drawn to protection of precious assets of an enterprise, such as production technology, know-how and brand, in a difficult period of the ownership changes and enterprise restructuring. Besides, methods of providing social security to the staff of the enterprise were presented. According to the author, the presented two layers forming a safe economic environment of the enterprise in a micro- and macro-scale constituted one of the factors that enabled a successful introduction of the radical economic reforms after 1989.Projekt Operacyjny Polska Cyfrowa POPC.02.03.01-00-0039/1

Effect of spine biomechanical correction Kozyavkin’s method (INRS) on components of muscle tone in children with spastic form of Cerebral Palsy and its possible prediction
A clinical-physiological observations in 29 children aged 7÷16 years with spastic forms of cerebral palsy. State of Gross Motor Function was 1÷4 levels at GMFCS, the functional state of the hand (usually the left ) was 1÷4 levels at MACS, hand spasticity estimated in the range 0÷2 on a scale Åshworth (ASS). Neural component of muscle tone (N), registered device Neuroflexor, was in the range 0,48÷18,08, elastic component (E) ranging -1,80÷4,36, and its viscous component (V) ranging -0,80÷0,73. We found a strong correlation between N and ASS (r=0,74), GMFCS (r=0,66), MACS (r=0,66), whereas the correlation of these parameters E on the verge of significance (r=0,36; 0,32, 0,34), and V all with their not related (r=0,14; 0,00; -0,15). After 10-15 min after the first spine biomechanical correction Kozyavkin’ method N in 17 children decreased from 7,6±1,1 by 3,4±0,7 (p<0,001), in 4 children has not significantly changed: 2,9±1,7 to and 2,5±1,6 after correction, and in 8 cases increased from 5,8±2,1 by 2,2±0,7 (p<0,01). After a two-week course of rehabilitation by Kozyavkin’s method reducing N stated in 23 (79,3%) children from 7,6±1,0 by 6,0±0,8 (p<0,001). In 4 (13,8%) children changes were not detected: 1,6±0,6 to and 2,0±0,7 after treatment, however, in 2 cases N increased from 1,6 to 3,4 and from 4,6 to 6,1. Multiple regression equation to calculate the expected value of N as after the first correction of the spine, and after a two-week course of rehabilitation Kozyavkin’s method. The method of discriminant analysis revealed that the nature of emergency response N at correcting the spine is projected for a range of initial parameters to within 72,4% and accuracy of predictions on the nature of the reaction of N treatment is 93,1%
Influence of human impact on the ecological condition of small catchment area on the example of Struga Młyńsk
The catchment area of Struga Młyńska is characterized by strong anthropopression impact. This is due to its location in the immediate vicinity of the city of Bydgoszcz and the relatively small area of the catchment. The main impact on the water quality have point sources of pollution and pressure from urban areas. Despite beneficial cover of catchment land (forests) there has been noticed a significant influx of autochthonous substances from the catchment area. In this case, the execution of natural valorisation has high internal diversity of the environment in a relatively small area of catchment.
Edwin Elias Gordon's Theory: Implications for Social Aspects of Making Music in the Education of a Child (According to the Author's Own Educational Research)
The paper presents the selection of authorís own research results on selected assumptions of Gordon's Theory of Music Learning in early education. The paper discusses the assumptions of Gordonís theory that concern the social environment of music learning, developing specific music skills by the learners, and relevant musical activities of teachers, parents or other
musicians. The importance of childís social environment for learning music, as well as social aspects of performing music, is emphasised. The research included diagnostic probing, observation techniques and interviews. The research results expressed in percentage are based on the purposive sample of Polish parents of children, teachers and students of early music
education
The application of the selected elements of E.E. Gordon’s Theory of Music Learning in Kazimierz Wielki University students own research in Bydgoszcz
Theory of music learning, according to Gordon, is mostly directed at teachers. The text aims at showing the aspect of the application of research on E. E. Gordon’s theory into early music education teacher’s professional training. The author recognises the importance of shaping research competences of future teachers as they help students use not only practical (pedagogical), but also methodological and empirical work of E.E. Gordon’s theory. The text presents the reports from research on the application of E.E. Gordon’s Theory of Music Learning, carried out by students of early school and music education. It is important to emphasise the fact that research has been conducted according to Gordon’s procedures. Researching the application of theory of music learning refers to its selected elements within the range of application of research problems, theoretical implications and selected diagnostics solutions in music education (also E.E. Gordon’s tools). The main idea of the text revolves around more and more popular aspect of making university and teachers training relations very practical (both formal and informal). Such expectations are taken into consideration in Muzopolis project described in this text. Muzopolis from its begining has been the field of practical and empirical application of the elements of E.E. Gordon’s theory with the use of staff and student team cooperating in the Faculty of Pedagogy and Music environmen
