Mostarlı Ziya’i Divanı’nda Deyimler The Idioms In Mostarli Ziya’s Divan

Türk dili; atasözleri, deyim ve halk söyleyişlerinin sıkça kullanımı bakımından zengin bir dildir. Klasik Türk edebiyatı şairleri de bu zenginlikten yararlanmış ve edebiyatımıza bu konuda önemli eserler kazandırmışlardır. Mostarlı Ziya’i Divan’ı atasözleri ve deyimlerin zengin kullanımı bakımından önemli bir eserdir. Bu çalışmada 16.yy. balkan şairi olan Mostarlı Hasan Ziyai’nin divanı deyimler açısından incelenmiştir. Ziya’i Divan’ında toplam 393 adet deyim tespit edilmiştir.
Divanda yer alan bu deyimlerin çoğu günümüzdeki kullanımlarıyla birebir örtüşmektedir. Bazıları divanda kelime değişiklikleri ile yer almış bazılarının ise günümüzde karşılığı olmadığı ve kullanılmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Bunların divanda geçtiği yerler örnek verilerek gösterilmiştir. Ayrıca deyimlerin yanısıra divanda oldukça fazla atasözü ve halk söyleyişleri de yer almaktadır. Bunlardan 26 adet atasözü de çalışmada kaydedilmiştir. Bu deyim ve atasözleri Ziya’i’nin şiirlerine özgün bir anlatım ve akıcılık kazandırmıştır. Ayrıca şairin Türkçe’ye hakimiyetini göstermektedir.

ABSTRACT
Turkish language; is a rich language in terms of the frequent use of folk proverbs, idioms and common public sayings. Classical Turkish literature’s poets also have benefited from this wealth of literature and have contributed significant works of our literature on this subject. Divan of Mostarli Ziya is an important work in terms of the rich use of proverbs and idioms. In this study the Divan of Hasan Ziya was analyzed in terms of idioms , who was one of the 16th century Balkan poets. A total of 393 idioms have been identified in the poems of Ziya.
Many of these statements in the Divan coincides exactly with the use of today. Some of the idioms have taken place within the poem by changing some words where as some of the idioms used in poems are not in use anymore. These changes have been highlighted by giving examples in the poems. In addition to the idioms, many proverbs and public sayings are also included in the Divan. 26 proverbs are identified in this study. These idioms and proverbs have given a unique expression and fluency to Ziya's poetry. It also shows the poet's Turkish language domination (power of use).

Pre-service teacher training: motivation, objectives and teaching strategies
Get PDFTrinity College Diploma in TESOL offers a compulsory part of the course titled Unknown Language Learning Experience. It is an assessed part of the course and it accounts for 20% of the final mark. Trainees have to write a language journal guided by a semi- structured questionnaire after observing and participating in four lessons taught in an unknown language. The main objective of this experience is to introduce teaching methodologies and activities suitable for total beginners and to show how to write up a lesson plans and do a contrastive analysis. In 2003 we have organized a course on the island of Gran Canaria training 24 students from the UK, Australia and Spain. Eleven/twelve years after the experience, in 2015, we have asked them the very same questions they had to answer back in 2003 in their journals. This action research procedure has proven the validity of the unknown language experience. The questions we have analysed deal with feeling, motivation, teaching strategies, objectives and techniques. 100% of them valued the experience as a positive one and 40% of them stated that they could follow the lesson precisely because only L2 was used. 100% of the trainees said that they have used the same unknown language teaching strategies since they have considered them as a very useful in language teaching methodology. Due to the success of the experiment we have done trial experiments from 2011- 2013 at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria with the main aim to implement the Unknown Language Experience in the core curriculum at the Teacher Training Faculty.

The image of the Flying Dutchman inthe literature of Romanticism
Get PDFThe paper touches upon the peculiarities of the so called “marine theme” in Romantic art as a whole, and its central image – the Flying Dutchman, in particular. The etymology of this image, as well its numerous literary interpretations make up the subject of the research. Three key literary works of Romanticism, the ballad by S.T. Coleridge, the libretto by R. Wagner, and the novel by H. Melville, are in the spotlight of the given paper. The roots of the Flying Dutchman can be traced in the texts by Apollonius of Rhodes and Homer – their legendary books“Argonautica” and “Odyssey”respectively, as well as in the Norse mythology, in Edda –a notorious Naglfar, the ship made of deadmen’s nails. At the Age of Discovery the story of a mysterious ship came to its final form. Being first mentioned in various European folk tales, with the course of time the plot became highly popular in late XVIII – XIX centuries. In Romantic literature the legend of the Flying Dutchman transformed into the allegoryof a man punished by Heaven for being too proud to resign himself to God’s will – a symbol of purgatory for sinners begging for mercy and forgiveness to rest in peace.

Zero Semantic Extension of the Persian Origin Words in the Contemporary Bosnian Language
Get PDFThe Bosnian language lexis is characterised by a number of words of eastern origin, i.e. the words from Turkish, Arabic or Persian have a prominent place. The Bosnian language vocabulary contains a number of the Persian origin words that were introduced to the Bosnian language mainly through Turkish language as an intermediary language during the Ottoman rule in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Comparison of the Persian words meaning in Bosnian language resulted in a conclusion that a number of Persian words experienced zero semantic extension. The Persian Origin Words that experienced zero semantic extension in Bosnian language are mostly related to expressions limited to narrow specialized areas that we thematically grouped in: flowers, fruits, vegetables, herbs; dishes, furniture and different objects; buildings, rooms, different places; apparel, cloths, and jewelry; colors, metals, minerals and chemical elements; food, drinks and spices; religious and sufi expressions; occupations; music instruments and animals.

COMPARISON OF MACHINE LEARNING TECHNIQUES IN PHISHING WEBSITE CLASSIFICATION
Get PDFAbstract: Phishing is one among the luring strategies utilized by phishing artist in
the aim of abusing the personal details of unsuspected clients. Phishing website
is a counterfeit website with similar appearance, but changed destination. The
unsuspected client post their information thinking that these websites originate from
trusted financial institutions. New antiphishing techniques rise continuously, yet
phishers come with new strategy by breaking all the antiphishing mechanisms.
Hence there is a need for productive mechanism for the prediction of phishing
website. This paper described comparison in classification of phishing websites using
different Machinelearning
algorithms. Random Forest (RF), C4.5, REP Tree, Decision
Stump, Hoeffding Tree, Rotation Forest and MLP were used to determine which
method provides the best results in phishing websites classification. All instances are
categorized as 1 for “Legitimate”, 0 for “Suspicious” and 1
for “Phishy”. Results show
that RF with REP Tree show the best performance on this dataset for classification of
phishing websites
IMPACT OF LEASING PERFORMANCE FACTORS ON CUSTOMER SATISFACTION; EMPHASIS ON VB LEASING
Get PDFAbstract: Main objective of this study is to identify key Leasing performance factors
that influence customer satisfaction in VB Leasing and other leasing companies. On
the basis of literature review, eight independent and one dependent variable have
been identified, and specific measuring items were developed accordingly. Structured
survey was prepared on the basis of mentioned measuring items to measure related
variables, and it was used as main instrument in this study. Survey has been sent in online
form to clients of VB Leasing via e-mail and social networks. Out of 250 managers who
received the survey, 200 respondents completed it which gives response rate of 80%.
Responses were analyzed using descriptive statistics in excel, but main methodology
was regression analysis using SPSS. The findings indicated that there is a significant
positive relationship between Processing Speed (PS), Form Simplicity (FS), Image of
Leasing Company (CI), Communication with Company (CC), Annuity Ammount (AA)
and Grace Period (GP) on Customer Satisfaction (CS). On the other hand, there is no
relationship between Interest Ammount (IA) and Down Payment (DP) with Customer
Satisfaction (CS). Research is completed in one company operating in Bosnia and
Herzegovina (BH) and it is suggested for future research to do the study considering
more companies, to test more different independent variables and do the research
in all cantons of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, entity Republic Srpska and
District Brčko
IMPLEMENTATION OF AN ENTERPRISE RESOURCE PLANNING (ERP) AND ITS EFFECT ON THE MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING SYSTEM

successfully adopted ERP systems. In this study, we will research the impact of ERP
in the accounting industry regarding the case study from company in Bosnia and
Herzegovina. By many theorists, accounting is usually described as the process of
collecting, analyzing, and presenting financial data required for taking appropriate
management decisions. Studies have explored the effects of IT in the business and
accounting, but they didn’t cover complex technologies such as ERP. Utilizing ERP in
accounting allows spending more time on analyzing the data instead of collecting
it. This is possible because all information is stored in one place (database) which is
easily accessed by everyone allowed to use it. With the successful implementation of
ERP in company, accountants have more time to spend for analyzing and reporting,
enhancing their roles, and shortening common tasks and activities. The aim of this
paper is to explore the significance of ERP systems in management accounting. This

BUSINESS CONTINUITY MANAGEMENT IN HIGHER EDUCATION: RESPONSE PLAN FOR THE THREAT OF NEGATIVE MEDIA REPRESENTATION (CASE STUDY ON INTERNATIONAL BURCH UNIVERSITY)

management process (ISO 22301:2012) which means that interdependences and
connections between all parts of process are very important. BCM is the best way
for the organization to prepare for response in potential future crisis situations and to
avoid damage from theoretical events.
Awareness of importance of BCM in higher education in Bosnia and Herzegovina is
not at a satisfactory level. One of the risks that can have the highest impact on higher
education institution is reputation risk. This BC response plan is particular preparedness
plan of the University for the event of negative media representation.
The purpose of this study is to raise awareness of importance of business continuity
response plans for incidents or crisis situations in higher education institutions. Additional
reason for this study is importance of the reputation of these institutions. Image and
reputation of higher education institutions are crucial for their existing.
Answers will be sought for the following research questions: How higher education
institution can protect of reputational damage, in the first place of negative media
attention? How to make BC Response Plan? Why is communication plan extremely
important as a part of BC response plan
Key Success Factors for Sustainable Strategic IS Planning and IT Infrastructure
Get PDFAbstract: Paper is intended to provide an expert view on the approach to transformation of business processes toward business sustainability, or sustainable business processes, with a focus on ecological thinking. Furthermore, it highlights the argument that approach to corporate sustainability is interdisciplinary process spanning from the fields of sociology to applied technological innovation and advances in the IT/IS sphere of influence. Through a review of an amalgam of very recent literature a versatile business model is recommended bridging together most effective strategic information system planning (SISP) tools for building a sustainable business processes to be deployed in practice. An article is intended to help high and middle management extend the notion of sustainable development to their every-day managerial activities while protecting the organization well-accepted business principles.

PROBLEMS OF TRANSLATING ECONOMIC TERMINOLOGY
No full textThroughout history translation has made inter-linguistic communication between people possible. Theoretically, one can consider translation a science; practically, it seems rational to consider it an art. However, regardless of whether one considers translation as a science, art or craft, one should bear in mind that a good translation should fulfill the same function in the target language as the original did in the source language. The aim of this paper is to demonstrate through various examples the difficulties with translating. The author has also included some of her own personal experiences that she has acquired while working on the ERP project with the US Steel company in Serbia. The focus here is on the economic terminology.
