SOME CUSTOMS AND TRADITIONS OF THE 13TH CENTURY ACCORDING TO MATHNAWI
Abstract
Mawlana Jalaluddin Rumi, who had to leave Khwarezm, Balkh and Khorasan due to various political and social reasons took shelter in erstwhile island of peace – Anatolia. The threats posed by Mongols drove communities out of the then Central Asian and Iranian geography. Anatolia welcomed all these communities wholeheartedly. These communities obviously brought their own languages and cultures with them and Anatolia’s diversity was increasing. It was becoming a melting point of cultures. In such a diverse society, Rumi and his family brought different ideas and understandings to our geography with their intellectual abilities. These ideas and understandings which would later be known as Mevlevilik trace its roots in Khwarezm, Balkh and Khorasan. These immigrants who fostered Seljuk culture had brought scholarly and intellectual richness with them. In this paper, we, along with the witnesses, would analyse the customs and traditions of the 13th century which are described in Rumi’s glorious and most renowned book, Mathnawi.

FILLING THE VOIDS: URBAN REGENERATION
The intent of this Master Thesis is to provide an insight into issues and potential of urban areas which lost their function over time and became useless or abandoned – urban voids. This paper tends to clarify those areas based on works of architectural and urban theorists, it attempts to create a simple classification and suggests how to proceed towards regeneration. Furthermore, it aims to stress the importance of these misunderstood urban holes as a different perspective on the development of today’s already overcrowded cities. The paper further discusses the concept of urban regeneration and its tools in practice. Finally, by providing a methodology for applying the practices of urban regeneration on urban voids as areas of intervention, it aims to show the immense potential for future of architectural and urban planning hidden within these forgotten areas
BRAND LOYALTY IN THE TIME OF CRISIS: PERCEPTIONS OF VOLKSWAGEN BY CUSTOMERS IN SARAJEVO
In this study the customers’ loyalty of company Volkswagen will be discussed. The issue is very attractive, since the company was facing crisis being accused for software cheats on pollution checkouts. Since they are present in Bosnia and Herzegovina for many years, and some parts were produced on this area, it is suitable that market of Bosnia, and especially market of Sarajevo, would be researched to check how strong loyalty of customers is. The survey was created in order to collect data. In three parts of capital city Sarajevo (Sarajevo City Center, Grand Center and Old Town) people were randomly surveyed. Regression analysis was done, where trust in brand was dependent variable. We found that trust in brand is positively related to brand loyalty, discovering that customers in Sarajevo are loyal to Volkswagen. Studies like this can be done in other countries as well, helping Volkswagen to rebuild trust in customers who were affected by this crisis.

Co-integration Analysis between the Turkish Stock Market and its Balkan Hinterland Equivalents: Proof From the 2010-2015 Period
Abstract: The purpose of this study is to investigate whether there is a co-integration amongst (3) three Balkan countries; Bosnia Herzegovina, Macedonia and Turkey in relation to the German stock market (important for the Europe scale). For this purpose, the relevant stock market’s weekly closing values (in the time series) were analyzed between the periods of September 2010 and August 2015. The long-term co-integrated relationship is analyzed by the Johansen Juselius Co-integration Test. The empirical results show that these three Balkan countries have a meaningful, but moderate relationship in reference to the stock markets. In addition, the German stock market has a more powerful effect on the Turkish stock exchange in comparison to the Bosnia Herzegovinian and Macedonian stock exchanges. This paper suggests that international investors can diversify their portfolios in these (3) three Balkan stock markets.

Tense and Gender production in Arabic-Speaking Aphasics
The current study aims at examining the tense and agreement patterns as produced by agrammatic Palestinian-Arabic speakers using sentence completion tasks. The participants were presented with two sentences and asked to work on them. The first sentence included an inflected verb for both tense and agreement. In the second sentence, the participants were requested to complete a missing verb, where the temporal adverb or the subject’s person, gender, or number was changed. The findings revealed that the agrammatic speakers showed a significant dissociation between tense and agreement, whereby tense was significantly more impaired compared to agreement inflections. Similar results are reported from other languages. The results provide further evidence of Tree Pruning Hypothesis (TPH) that functional categories associated with upper nodes in the syntactic tree are more impaired than functional categories associated with the lower nodes of the tree. The selective deficits of the morpho-syntactic structures suggest that specific morphemes should be targeted in therapy programs.

Pre-Primary Teachers’ Beliefs about Early Foreign Language Learning in Slovenia
The introduction of foreign languages into the early years has spurred a need for qualified teachers. Most of the recent studies (e.g. Garton, Copland & Burns, 2011; Mourão & Lourenço, 2015; Murphy & Evangelou, 2016) reveal that there are not enough teachers who would be proficient in a foreign language and at the same time have thorough knowledge of the preschool curriculum and methodology of teaching foreign languages to young learners. More pre-service and in-service teacher training in this area is highly recommended. In Slovenia, there is currently only a two-year in-service teacher-training programme for pre-primary teachers who wish to gain a formal certificate to teach English to children from the ages of 3 to 6 and only a few teachers have finished it. Nevertheless, the research shows that in 2009/2010 almost half of Slovene kindergartens (47,5%) offered some form of foreign language teaching to children and we can assume that this number has grown in the last six years. Ideally, foreign languages would be taught by trained pre-primary teachers, proficient in foreign languages and early language teaching methodology, and therefore we have conducted a research among 369 pre-primary teachers, asking them about their beliefs about early foreign language learning. Questionnaires were administered to all the participants in the study. The results show that most pre-primary teachers have a positive attitude to early foreign language learning. Most of them think that children should start learning a foreign language in kindergarten and that foreign language learning should be integrated into the preschool curriculum. They think that foreign languages should be taught by qualified pre-primary teachers and approximately half of them are willing to train for early FL teaching. Their attitude to early foreign language learning brings an optimistic forecast into the future, but there is still a lot to be done for effective inclusion of foreign languages into pre-primary education.

The Photographic Message: Common people Images in Contemporary Ads
The use of common people and objects as persuasive tools is an advertising strategy focuses on the assumption that common man can easily be identified with the masses i.e. target group for an advertiser. The ads feature people who appear to be average and typical ant thus lead the reader to believe that the product is for everyone (Howe and Edelstein 2000: 24). As Goddard (2005: 81-82) points out, ‘symbolic representation can be a powerful source of meaning in texts of all kinds. Symbols are much more about associations of ideas than about any literal or straightforward equation, and much more about group convention than about individual personalized meaning’. Accordingly, the semiotic analysis in this paper contains what Barthes (1977: 33) explained as follows: ‘…if the image contains signs, we can be sure that in advertising these signs are full, formed with a view to the optimum reading: the advertising image is frank or at least emphatic’.

The Right of Patient - Consumer to Reimbursement for Cross - Border Healthcare
Summary: The exercise of fundamental market freedoms in the European Union includes the freedom of movement of persons in order to attain the right to health care. A part of the possibility to access health services in the Member States where they are insured, the citizens of the Union can also demand such a service in another Member State and obtain reimbursement. This is the so called cross-border healthcare.
Directive 2011/24/EU on the application of patients' rights in cross-border healthcare is a new legal instrument adopted to ensure the mobility of patients within the European Union and eliminate the existing differences in the application of two parallel systems - one based on Regulation 883/2004/EC on the coordination the social security system, and the other on the principles and views of the Court of the European Union, which are based on the provisions of the Treaties on the fundamental market freedoms.
The first report of the Commission on the application of Directive 2011/24/EU from October 2015 shows that all the objectives proclaimed in the Directive have not yet been achieved and all the dilemmas related to different mechanisms of reimbursement for cross-border healthcare in the EU have not been eliminated.
Analysis of the organization of health care systems in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the right to mobility of patients within and outside of its borders illustrates the complexity and inefficiency of this system, the discrimination related to patient’s mobility as well as a high level of noncompliance of Bosnian legislation with the acquis in this area
Investigating the Drivers of Choice Behavior in Tourism: Corporate Image, Perceived Risk and Trust Interactions through Reputation Management
Abstract: This study examines how reputation management (RM) activities influence consumers’ choice behaviors. In order to understand the relationship between them the possible consequences of RM activities such as corporate image, consumer trust, and perceived risk were analyzed as the antecedents of consumers’ choice behavior. Specifically, a structural equation model was developed for hypothesized relations between the constructs of the study. Empirical research was conducted using data from 232 individual consumers in Albania (n=109) and Turkey (n=123) to test our conceptual model. The data were analyzed through t-test and structural equation modelling (SEM). The study shows that RM activities obviously determine the constructs of corporate image and consumer trust positively, whereas they affect perceived risk by consumers negatively. The lower level of perceived risk through RM activities was found as a significant determinant of consumers’ choice behavior
MODEL OF ENTREPRENEURIAL INTENTIONS AMONG STUDENTS IN BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA
Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to examine entrepreneurial intentions among
business students in state universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Theoretic base for
The Model of Entrepreneurial Intentions in this research is Theory of planned behavior,
developed by Ajzen (1991.). TPB explains that Attitude towards behaviour, Perceived
Social Norms and Perceived Behavioral Control are three motivational factors that
constitute the construct which explains entrepreneurial intention. Entrepreneurial
intentions are considered to be the single most influencing predictor for performing
entrepreneurial behaviour. Collected data were analyzed in SPSS 19.0 statistical
program, using standard descriptives for general information about the demographic
characteristics of the sample. After performing Factor analysis, four different factors
emerged which represented four main constructs od the model. Cronbach Alpha
was 0.8 and showed adequate reliability in the questionnaire. Parametric statistics was
used in the analysis, because Kolmogorov-Smirnow test was not significant (p value
was grater than 0.05)We used correlation analysis and regression analysis to confirm
