CORRELATION OF KI-67 PROLIFERATIVE INDEX WITH BIOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF INTRACRANIAL TUMORS
No full textINTRODUCTION: The biological behavior of intracranial tumors is associated with the main histopathological characteristics of neoplastic tissue and refers to the presence of mitosis, vascular proliferation, hyperhromasia sails and necrosis. The proliferation of tumor cells can be quantitatively assessed by measuring Ki-67 proliferative (lebeling) index. Various studies have shown the existence of a significant correlation between Ki-67 proliferation index and the biological behavior of intracranial tumor, its grade, tendencies to recurrence and recidive.
HYPOTHESIS: High Ki-67 proliferative index indicates a tendency for recurrence and recidive of radically resected intracranial tumors.
METHODS AND MATERIALS: This study enrolled 40 cases of intracranial tumours which include the benign extrinsic intracranial tumors and malignant intrinsic intracranial tumours. Immunohistochemical analysis was performed for staining of biopsies. Pearson’s chi square test was used to determine statistical correlation between Ki-67 and recurrence and survival of tumour.
RESULTS: We found a statistically significant correlation between the biological behavior of intracranial tumors and Ki67 index, and we determined that the high percentage of Ki-67 index in malignant neoplasms can be grounds for anticipation of their postoperative index.

ROLE OF GOOD GOVERNANCE AND LOCAL ASSETS IN DEVELOPMENT OF RURAL AREAS IN FEDERATION OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA
No full textBosnia and Herzegovina is one of the most rural countries in Europe with around 61% of population living in predominantly rural areas. The characteristics of rural areas in BH are similar to the ones in other countries but are also specific in relation to the overall country development, natural resources and mentality of the people (social and human capital).
The aim of the study is to investigate the reasons for the differences in economic performance, in particular, to investigate the role of tangible and less tangible factors influencing development outcomes, and to show how people in rural areas perceive the role of local governance, as influential, as mediating or without significant contribution to their development level. The basis of the designed theoretical model is drawn primarily from completed research projects conducted in European Union. Model assumes that the different economic performance of rural areas is the result, in part at least, of five locally available capitals: (1) natural capital; (2) built capital; (3) human capital; (4) social capital; and (5) cultural capital. In order to ensure the significance of this research and contribution to the field, the framework takes into consideration effective governance as having an important role in development of rural areas. To include this driver into the model it evaluates governance through defined principles of good governance found in the literature.
This study represents a cross-sectional study which used both quantitative and qualitative methodology. Target population were residents in 72 municipalities classified as rural. In total 521 questionnaires were used in the analysis. The conducted method of analysis that was used was structural equation modelling. The results showed that only natural and human capital have statistically significant influence on development of rural areas. Related to institutional capital or good local governance there is no direct influence on the development, however some kind of contribution exists through other capitals.
This research could present, along with other studies and sector analysis, useful base for constructive discussions on direct and long lasting measurements for improving rural development in our country in consistent, systematic and strategic way.

Pravo preče kupovine kod suvlasništva na nekretninama u pravu Bosne i Hercegovine
No full textSažetak: U radu je obrađen institut prava preče kupovine kao sadržajni element suvlasništva sa posebnim akcentom na suvlasničke zajednice na nekrentinama u pravu BiH. S tim u vezi, razmatrana su osnovna pitanja ovog instituta kao: pitanje pravne prirode prava preče kupovine, njegovog sadržaja, sudske zaštite usljed povrede istog, kao i pitanje da li i u kojoj mjeri pravo preče kupovine predstavlja ograničenje prava vlasništva? Kroz analizu zakonskih tekstova, ukazano je i na različitosti, odnosno specifičnosti u regulaciji pojedinih pitanja prava preče kupovine suvlasnika na nekretninama u entitetima, odnosno Brčko distriktu BiH. Pored navednog, ukazano je na određene propuste u regulaciji prava preče kupovine, te su predložena adekvatna zakonska rješenja
Cognitive Mechanisms of Word-formation Process: Interrelation of Conceptual and Verbal Structures
Get PDFThis article deals with the peculiarities of mechanisms providing formation of semantics of compound words from the perspective of the cognitive approach. More to the point, it is a question of conceptual derivation, where meaning formation of compound words is carried out by the interaction of its component conceptual structures. The author has researched the main means which take part in the processes of conceptual derivation of both structurally motivated and structurally unmotivated compound words. Special attention is given to revealing the propositional structures correlated with the word formation meanings of compound words.

EFFECTS OF SOCIAL MEDIA COMMUNICATION ON BRAND EQUITY AND BRAND PURCHASE INTENTION: A CASE STUDY ON DOMESTIC BRANDS IN BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

communicate their marketing strategies to their customers. Online communities carry
a strong and influential voice, and there is much to be gained from engaging directly
with people through these channels – whether it is reaching and keeping existing
customers or acquiring new ones.
In light of such positive ground for social media this study aims to provide an empirical
analysis of the impact social media communication has on brand equity and purchase
intention. A systematic literature review has been conducted in order to understand
how the dimensions of social media create word of mouth i.e. electronic word of
mouth (E-WOM) on social media platforms and how this E-WOM further influences
brand equity and customers’ purchase intention of domestic brands in Bosnia and
Herzegovina.
300 data sets were generated through a standardized online-survey and analyzed in
SPSS.
The results of the empirical study showed that both .rm-created and user-generated
social media communication in.uence brand equity, consequently impacting brand
purchase intention

A study on the research for ‘Sıra Geceleri’ considering its structure, mechanism and contents in terms of maintaining the conservation of Sanliurfa Culture and its transfer to the next generation.
This study presents the research that remarks the significance of the conservation of the unequalled city culture, which is called Urfa Sıra Geceleri, which is still current but began to disappear rapidly in today’s global world and its major role for the next generations. The study comprises the history of “Urfa Sıra Geceleri” and its attribute provided with conceptual words, the music and literature, especially ‘Divan Edebiyatı’ and ‘ghazel’ at those nights. When considered socially and culturally, the nights, which are dating back to very old ages, are understood to have a great role in the city culture although nowadays they are seen as a means of entertainment. Especially nowadays, whilst social media causes diversity and gaps between the generations, this cultural event, which is still active, has an important role in terms of minimizing the differences.

Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, kültür miraslarımızdan olan ve hâlâ tertip edilen “Urfa Sıra Geceleri”nin günümüzde hızla yok olmaya başlayan veya küresel bir kimlik kazanan şehir kültürlerinin korunması ve gelecek nesillere aktarılmasındaki rolü; bu gecelerin tarihçesi, mahiyeti, bu gecelere ait kavramlar, bu gecelerde müzik ve edebiyatın -özellikle divan edebiyatı ve gazel- incelenmesidir. Sosyal ve kültürel açıdan ele alındığında çok eski bir gelenek olan bu geceler, her ne kadar günümüzde bir eğlence aracı olarak görülse de şehir kültüründe çok ciddi bir yer aldığı anlaşılacaktır. Özellikle sosyal medyanın kuşaklar arasında meydana getirdiği farklılık ve uçurumların çok belirgin olduğu günümüzde, hâlâ faal olan bu kültür kurumu kuşaklar arasındaki farklılıkları minimize etme açısından da ayrıca bir öneme sahiptir.

MISIR’DA TÜRK DİZİ FİLMLERİNİN YABANCI DİL OLARAK TÜRKÇE ÖĞRENİMİNE ETKİSİ

Bu çalışmanın amacı yaygın eğitim kapsamında, Mısır’da Türk dizilerinin yabancı dil olarak Türkçe’nin öğrenimi üzerine etkilerini ortaya koymaktır. Dil öğretiminde görsel ve işitsel araçların etkisi büyüktür. Bugün teknolojinin hızla gelişmesiyle görsel ve işitsel araçların sayısı artmış; dil öğrenimi kolaylaşmıştır. Diziler bu görsel-işitsel araçlar yoluyla Türkçe öğrenimine önemli bir katkı yapmaktadır. Diziler konuları ve içerikleri ile dil öğretiminin yanı sıra kültürü de aktarmaktadır. Mısırla Türkiye arasında geçmişe dayanan dilde ve kültürde derin bir müştereklik bulunmaktadır. Bu yüzden Türk dizileri Mısır’da ilgiyle izlenmektedir. Mısır halkı diziler sayesinde güncel Türkiye Türkçesine aşinalık kazanmakta ve temel kalıp ifadeleri öğrenmektedir. Bunun Türk ve Mısır halkları arasındaki duygusal bağı kuvvetlendirdiği, toplumlar arası dayanışmaya katkı yaptığı anlaşılmaktadır. Türk dizilerinin dost ve akraba topluluklar hatta başka uluslarla diyalogda ve kültürel değerlerimizin aktarımında önemli bir yeri olduğu görülmüştür.
Bu çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemi ile Mısır’da yaşayan 126 kişiye anket uygulanmış; veriler tarama yöntemiyle toplanmıştır. Araştırmada ulaşılan veriler analiz edilerek dağılımları ve yüzdelikleri hesaplanmıştır. Verilerden Türk dizilerinin, Mısır halkının Türkçe öğrenmesine yardımcı olduğu anlaşılmıştır. Yabancı dil olarak Türkçe öğretiminde film ve dizilerin etkileri üzerinde durulmalıdır.

THE EFFECT OF TURKISH SOAP OPERAS ON THE ARABIAN NATIVE SPEAKERS IN TURKISH LANGUAGE LEARNING PROCESS IN EGYPT
Abstract
The goal of this work is to show the effects of Turkish TV series on learning Turkish as a foreign language in Egypt. The effect of visual and aural sources in language learning is important. Today by the help of rapid development in technology the number of visual and aural tools has increased that makes language learning easier. Turkish soap operas form a significant part of this visual-aural resources. TV series reflect on the culture as well as language learning with their topics and contents.
In this work, survey results are collected from 126 people living in Egypt by using qualitative research method. Distribution and percentages are calculated after analyzing the obtained data from the research. It has been concluded that Turkish TV series have been helping Egyptians to learn Turkish language. It should be emphasized on the effect of Turkish films and TV series in foreign language teaching.

YABANCILARA TÜRKÇE ÖĞRETİMİNDE YAZMA ETKİNLİKLERİNE ÖĞRENCİLERİN BAKIŞI (BOSNA HERSEK ÖRNEĞİ)

Bu çalışmanın amacını, Bosna Hersek’te yabancı dil olarak öğretilen Türkçenin yazma etkinliği bakımından incelenmesi ve bu etkinliklere öğrencilerin bakışı oluşturmaktadır. Birey dili kullandığı ölçüde öğrenir. Dil öğretiminde dili kullanma yazılı ve sözlü olarak gerçekleşmektedir. Dil öğreniminin içe dönük okuma ve dinleme ile dışa dönük konuşma ve yazma etkinlikleri temel becerilerdir. Bu beceriler içerisinde yazma becerisi önemli bir yer tutmaktadır. Yazma becerisinin dil öğreniminde motivasyona; duyuşsal, bilişsel ve psikomotor düzeylere etkisi bulunmaktadır. Yapılan bu çalışmada Bosna Hersek’te bulunan ortaöğretim seviyesinde Türkçe öğrenen öğrencilerin yazma becerisi hakkındaki görüş, düşünce ve tutumları tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma için 161 öğrenciye likert ölçekli ve açık uçlu sorular sorularak anket çalışması yapılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS(21.0) programına girilerek değerlendirilmiş ve analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma verileri Bosna Hersekli öğrencilerin yazma becerisine yönelik etkinlikleri özellikle bilişsel ve duyuşsal bakımdan önemli bulduklarını ortaya çıkarmıştır.

Abstract
The main purpose of this study, try to examine to writing effectiveness of Turkish language which is teaching in Bosnia and Herzegovina (B&H) and to get some perspective of students about these events. Individuals can learn languages when they use the measure of it. There are few kinds of factors about the teaching of languages. These factors are, writing and speaking. However, the writing factor is one the most important. In this teaching of languages there is internal factors which are reading and listening and there are external factors which are speaking and writing. This factor can effect and develop the students in a motivational, affective, cognitive and psychomotor. In this study try to analysis the writing skills, idea and perspective of the students who learn Turkish languages in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In this research, Likert Scale survey was used to 161 Bosnian students. In that approach I used SPSS (21.0) software program to get the result of the analysis. According to result of this research, to get information about how is the perspective of the students about the writing skills.

Yirminci yüzyıla gelindiğinde divan şiirinin etkisi azalmıştır. Ancak asırlarca bu topraklarda şekillenen bu kültür; edebiyat sahasında hâkimiyetini kaybetse de günümüze gelene kadar çeşitli yollarla varlığını sürdürmüştür. Bu gelenekten beslenen ve şiirlerinde ona ait motifleri kullanan yirminci yüzyıl şairlerimizden biri de Alvarlı Hâce Muhammed Lutfi Efendi’dir. Onun şiirleri, Hulâsatu’l-Hakâyık ve Mektubât-ı Hâce Muhammed Lütfi adlı divanda toplanmıştır.

Abstract
When the time comes to twentieth century, the impact of collected poems is decreased. But for centuries, this culture which created its own properties survived till today even it has finished its influence in these lands in many ways. One of of our poets, Alvarli Hace Muhammed Lutfi is also one of the poets who lived in twentieth century and benefited from this tradition and the culture. He used the motives from that culture in his poems. His poems, collected in Hulâsatu’l-Hakâyık and Mektubât-ı Hâce Muhammed Lutfi Collection.
