Irrigation technology plays a crucial role in distributing water to support food security; however, in the Brajan Irrigation Area, Boyolali Regency, issues have been identified regarding reduced water supply in tertiary channels. This study analyzes water loss in the irrigation system of the Brajan Irrigation Area, focusing on Secondary Channel 1, Tertiary Channel 1, and Tertiary Channel 2. Measurements were conducted using two methods—Mean Area and Mid Section—to obtain comprehensive data. The results showed varying water loss values across the channels, with Secondary Channel 1 experiencing water losses of 0.09478 m³/s (Mean Area) and 0.09329 m³/s (Mid Section). For Tertiary Channels 1 and 2, water losses were 0.04814 m³/s and 0.04424 m³/s (Mean Area), and 0.04935 m³/s and 0.03912 m³/s (Mid Section), respectively. System efficiency values ranged from 65.88% to 80.56%, with the Mid Section method consistently yielding higher efficiency than the Mean Area method. In addition, seepage values were measured at 0.00308 m³/s (Secondary 1), 0.00215 m³/s (Tertiary 1), and 0.00176 m³/s (Tertiary 2). These findings indicate the potential for physical leakage along the irrigation channels, which should be prioritized in efforts to improve system efficiency

In schools with a boarding school system, academic problems are often encountered, such as the demands of many assignments and memorization requirements at the same time. In addition, unsatisfactory exam results will cause students to experience stress. This condition indicates that boarding school students are vulnerable to academic stress that can affect the learning process and its impact on psychological health. One factor to reduce academic stress is peer support as an external factor and coping strategies as an internal factor. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Peer Support and Coping Strategies with Student Academic Stress. The method used in this study was quantitative with research instruments using questionnaires from the peer support scale, coping strategies, academic stress, with a purposive sampling technique. The population of this study were junior high school students who lived in boarding schools in the Purwodadi area, with a purposive sampling technique and a sample size of 114 respondents. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study showed an F value of 9.251 and a sig. value of 0.000, there is a significant relationship between peer support and coping strategies with student academic stress. The R Square value (0.143) indicates that 14.3% of peer support and coping strategy variables contribute to academic stress. Peer support has a significant negative relationship to academic stress (t = -3.956; sig = 0.000), as does coping strategy (t = -2.680; sig = 0.048)

    Get PDF
This study aims to analyse the effect of Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Enjoyment, Rewards, and Perceived Usefulness on the Intention to Continue Using the ShopeePay e-wallet, and to test the mediating role of Perceived Usefulness. Data was collected from active ShopeePay users through an online questionnaire and analysed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results showed that Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Enjoyment, and Rewards have a significant positive effect on Perceived Usefulness. Perceived Enjoyment and Rewards have a direct positive effect on Intention to Continue Using the e-wallet, while Perceived Ease of Use has no direct effect on Intention to Continue Using the e-wallet. Mediation analysis indicates that Perceived Usefulness mediates the relationship between Perceived Ease of Use, Perceived Enjoyment, and Rewards on Intention to Continue Using the e-wallet, with a partial mediation role on Perceived Ease of Use and Rewards, and full mediation on Perceived Enjoyment. The novelty of this study lies in integrating enjoyment and reward dimensions simultaneously into the analysis of continuance intention for an e-wallet platform, while also clarifying the nuanced mediating role of Perceived Usefulness. Unlike most prior e-wallet research that primarily emphasizes trust, security, or perceived ease of use, this study highlights how hedonic value (enjoyment) and extrinsic motivation (rewards) interact with perceived usefulness to sustain user retention. These findings confirm that perceived benefits and reward incentives are key factors in retaining ShopeePay users, while ease of use influences intention indirectly through perceived benefits. This research provides practical implications for e-wallet service providers to enhance Perceived Usefulness through user-friendly application design, attractive and relevant rewards, and a pleasant transaction experience

Analisis Kinerja Spillway Bendungan Wonogiri Untuk Keamanan Bendungan

Wonogiri Dam, which began operation in 1981, is one of the key infrastructures constructed to regulate water resources and mitigate flood risks. After more than five decades of operation, changes in rainfall patterns and land use within the Wonogiri Dam Watershed (DAS) have altered the inflow flood hydrograph entering the reservoir. Therefore, it is necessary to reanalyze the spillway’s performance. This study begins with an analysis of maximum daily rainfall using data from 2009–2023, followed by an areal rainfall analysis employing the Thiessen Polygon Method. Subsequently, the design rainfall is calculated using the Log Pearson Type III method. The resulting design rainfall data are then used to analyze the design flood discharge using the Nakayasu Synthetic Unit Hydrograph method for a 1,000-year return period and the Probable Maximum Flood (PMF), which is derived based on the Probable Maximum Precipitation (PMP) from the Isohyet method. Under PMF conditions, the operation of the spillway gates according to the original design results in the maximum water surface elevation reaching +138.37 m above sea level (m.a.s.l), which exceeds the initial design maximum water level. To ensure that the reservoir water level does not surpass the original design, the spillway gates must be fully opened when the reservoir elevation exceeds +137.50 m. Based on the flood routing analysis, with a PMF inflow discharge (QPMF) of 6,357.1 m³/s, the maximum reservoir water level would reach +138.297 m.a.s.l, remaining below the original design limit of +138.30 m.a.s.l. Therefore, for dam safety, during extreme rainfall events, the spillway gates must be fully opened when the reservoir elevation rises above +137.50 m.a.s.l

Cases of child molestation in Indonesia continue to increase and become more concerning each year, especially when children become perpetrators of such crimes. This study aims to analyze the legal framework under Law No. 35 of 2014, Law No. 11 of 2012, and Islamic Law, as well as to examine the judge’s considerations and criminal sanctions in Decision Number: 15/Pid.Sus-Anak/2023/PN Yyk regarding a child molestation case involving both a child perpetrator and victim. The research uses a normative juridical approach with qualitative-descriptive data analysis, and secondary data obtained from court decisions. The results show that Law No. 35 of 2014, Law No. 11 of 2012, and Islamic Law regulate child protection and emphasize a rehabilitative rather than retributive approach for child offenders. In the decision, the child perpetrator was found guilty under Article 82 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 76E of Law No. 17 of 2016 and was sentenced to five months of rehabilitation at a Youth Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center (BPRSR) and five months of vocational training. This ruling is considered appropriate as it prioritizes the best interests of the child. It is recommended that the Ministry of Education enhance school-based education and community outreach on child protection to prevent children's involvement in criminal acts, both as victims and perpetrators
