Maternal Anxiety and Overprotection Effects Anxiety in Japanese Children with Developmental Disorders and Typical Development
Background: Anxiety symptoms are common in children with developmental disorders(CDD), such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Studies have indicated that maternal anxiety and overprotective parenting are associated with the anxiety of children with typical development (CTD); the same factors might influence CDD’s anxiety. Methods: The hypothetical model of the influence of maternal factors, adding subscales of Sense of Coherence (SOC), on anxiety symptoms in CDD and CTD was examined. Mothers of CDD (n = 76) and CTD (n = 292) aged 6 to 15 were participants in the survey in Japan. Results: Multi-group path analysis indicated negative paths from SOC subscales to maternal anxiety and positive paths from maternal anxiety and overprotection to child anxiety in both groups. However, there were differences in the associations among maternal anxiety, overprotection, and SOC subscales between CDD and CTD mothers. Limitations: Limitations of this study are the assessment methods and the disproportionate group size. Conclusions: Our results indicated the similarities and differences within the models of maternal factors-based anxiety mechanisms in CTD and CDD.journal articl

<査読付萌芽論文>中国の災害対応における個人および社区の位置づけ :「災害4法」を読み解く
Given the high frequency of natural disasters in China, it is crucial to know what disaster-related laws have been in place. An overview of studies on disaster response systems and actors reveals that only a few studies on individual and disaster-affected area have been done. Therefore, this paper aims to clarify the position of individual and shaku in China's disaster response. In Chapter 1, the author describes the scope and basic situation of natural disasters and summarizes the establishment and development of disaster response systems and previous studies. In Chapter 2, the author introduces the basic information on the “Four Laws on Disasters," extracts provisions related to individual, and confirms the guarantees by the government for individual rights and the roles expected of individual. In Chapter 3, the author extracts provisions related to shaku and compares them by disaster stage. In Chapter 4, the author examines the types of assistance that the government provides to disaster victims and the items and criteria of the natural disaster reduction funds. Through these studies, the author clarifies the position of individual and shaku in China's disaster response, confirms the extent of coverage and the role that individual should play, and discusses whether disaster victims can rebuild their lives by relying on “public assistance" or not. In conclusion, both individual and shaku are in a “cooperative" and “passive" position in disaster laws. Based on the above, the author concludes that it is not optimistic that individual will be able to rebuild their lives solely by relying on “public assistance." How individual can rehabilitate their lives is an issue that should consider in the future.departmental bulletin pape
Feller property and Dirichlet forms for skew product diffusion processes and their time change
We are concerned with the skew product of a one dimensional diffusion process R on an open interval and the spherical Brownian motion. The skew product is defi ned by a positive continuous additive functional of R. We study Feller property of the skew product and the time change. Further we present Dirichlet forms of the skew product and the time change. In 2011, we obtained the Dirichlet form corresponding to the skew product under the assumption that both end point of the state space of R are entrance or natural in the sense of Feller. In this article we remove that assumption and tackle the same problem as the paper we wrote in 2011. Okura (1998) investigated Dirichlet forms corresponding to the skew product of Markov processes which are not necessarily conservative. He regarded the Revuz measure of positive continuous additive functional as a killing measure, and considered a new Dirichlet form with killing part. Then he derived Dirichlet forms corresponding to the skew product. Fukushima (2014) made clear Dirichlet forms of one dimensional diffusion process with killing measure. Combining their results, we can obtain the Dirichlet form corresponding to the skew product in general case. In our argument corresponding to the case that the end point of state space of R is regular with reflecting boundary condition in the sense of Feller, we assume that the Revuz measure of positive continuous additive functional is bounded near the end point. This assumption is necessary and suffi cient for the Revuz measure in some sense. We show this fact following the same argument as for Feller property of the skew product.departmental bulletin pape
departmental bulletin pape
