In the context of climate change in the current period, countries and territories around the world are increasingly concerned with the development associated with ecosystem conservation. In preserving the ecosystem to support green tourism, the awareness of tourism workers and tourists who enjoy and use tourism services is key. This is why, when looking back at our ancestors through literature, we recognize that they were highly aware of ecological issues, respecting and relying on nature to nourish both the physical and spiritual well-being. The poet Nguyen Trai’s aspiration for “quy son” associated with the Con Son relic complex in Chi Linh, Hai Duong (expressed in his Chinese poetry collection Uc Trai thi tap - Uc Trai’s poetry collection), is a typical example. This is the main content that we raise and discuss in this report

This study explores the shifting role of Vietnamese as a heritage language among second-generation Vietnamese migrants in Taiwan within the broader context of globalization, transnational migration, and cultural diversity. Following Vietnam’s “đổi mới” reforms and Taiwan’s “go south policy,” increasing cross-border mobility and intermarriage have contributed to the emergence of a substantial Vietnamese immigrant community. Today, new Vietnamese immigrants represent a significant proportion of Taiwan’s new immigrants, leading to a growing population of second-generation children navigating multiple cultural and linguistic worlds. The study draws on qualitative data collected through in-depth interviews with 35 second-generation Vietnamese migrants and 17 Vietnamese new immigrants, conducted across several Taiwanese cities between 2023 and 2025. Findings indicate a growing recognition of Vietnamese as both a cultural identity marker and a practical linguistic asset, particularly in the context of Taiwan’s enhanced relations with Southeast Asia under the new Southbound policy. Despite enduring stereotypes and historical stigmatization, Vietnamese is increasingly embraced by second-generation youth not only as a means of communication, family bonding but also as a path to cultural affirmation and social mobility. This study concludes that sustained recognition and support from policymakers, educators, and communities are essential to ensure the vitality of minority languages like Vietnamese in Taiwan’s future. This study explores the shifting role of Vietnamese as a heritage language among second-generation Vietnamese migrants in Taiwan within the broader context of globalization, transnational migration, and cultural diversity. Vietnam’s tourism industry is growing rapidly, creating opportunities for localities to strengthen and position their destination brands. Ha Nam, located at the southern gateway of the Red River Delta with rich yet underutilized tourism resources, faces the strategic challenge of enhancing its destination attractiveness. This study identifies and evaluates the key factors influencing Ha Nam’s tourism appeal through a model comprising five dimensions: (1) natural and cultural resources, (2) infrastructure and technical facilities, (3) quality of human resources in tourism, (4) destination image and security, and (5) digital transformation in tourism. Data were collected from 620 domestic and international tourists visiting major attractions such as Tam Chuc pagoda, Ba Danh pagoda, Ngu Dong Thi Son, Dia Tang pagoda, Cay Thi pagoda, Phat Quang pagoda, Lanh Giang temple and Quyet Thanh pottery village, using a stratified random sampling method. Analysis with SPSS 26.0 employed cronbach’s alpha, exploratory factor analysis, and multiple linear regression. All factor groups achieved cronbach’s alpha above 0.9, KMO above 0.8, and bartlett’s test sig. = 0.000, confirming high reliability and suitability. The model explained 96.2% of the variance (adjusted R² = 0.962) in destination attractiveness, with tourism resources (β = 0.304) and destination image and security (β = 0.295) identified as the most influential. The findings refine the analytical framework for assessing destination attractiveness and provide a scientific foundation for branding and product strategies.Vietnam’s tourism industry is growing rapidly, creating opportunities for localities to strengthen and position their destination brands. The twentieth century gave rise to a unique context and significantly altered the world order and the position of states in international relations. The regional and world wars occurred consecutively, creating a bias in research reflected in the last decade\u27s publications, where mainstream research has focused on issues of war and conflict. Undeniably, those wars had decisively shifted the fate of many countries; it would be flawed if studies only focused on war issues and underestimated non-military issues. For example, in the circumstances of the twentieth-century conflicts, particularly in the context of the Cold War, Japan and the Republic of Vietnam maintained a special relationship, not just a military alliance, but laid the first foundations for becoming cooperative partners in developing a modern education. The studies on educational cooperation between the two countries in this period are limited, lacking systematic research on this issue. Hence, this research paper not only helps to fill the gap in the educational cooperation relationship between Vietnam and Japan in the 1960s and 1970s, but more importantly, it will help to clarify a historical lineage of educational collaboration. Although it is not the main thread of the twentieth century, it has a lasting impact on the long-term development of the two countries and shows the trend of cooperation in the post-Cold War modern era.The twentieth century gave rise to a unique context and significantly altered the world order and the position of states in international relations. In this study, Eu3+ and Tb3+ co-doped Bi2Zr2O7 (BZO) pyrochlore phosphors were successfully synthesized via a combustion method at 600°C. The crystal structure, elemental composition, morphology, luminescent characteristics, and energy transfer behavior were systematically investigated. Powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis confirmed that all synthesized samples exhibited a pure single-phase pyrochlore structure, with Eu3+ and Tb3+ ions efficiently incorporated into the host lattice. Under blue light excitation at 466 nm, BZO:Eu3+,Tb3+ phosphors exhibited relatively strong red emission. Efficient energy transfer from Tb³⁺ to Eu³⁺ was observed, leading to a significant enhancement in red luminescence. Furthermore, the obtained phosphors demonstrated color purities approaching 90%. These results suggest that Tb3+ ions effectively act as sensitizers to Eu3+, and the new kinds of BZO:Eu3+,Tb3+ phosphors hold great potential for application in blue-excited white light-emitting diodes (WLEDs).In this study, Eu3+ and Tb3+ co-doped Bi2Zr2O7 (BZO) pyrochlore phosphors were successfully synthesized via a combustion method at 600°C. mCherry is among the most widely used red fluorescent proteins in advanced imaging techniques. However, recent studies have revealed that mCherry and its variants are susceptible to spontaneous degradation, leading to a gradual loss of fluorescence over time. In this study, six mCherry variants were engineered, each featuring a single amino acid mutation at position 161, to investigate the role of this residue in mCherry fluorescence stability. Spectroscopic analysis demonstrated that these substitutions had variable effects on fluorescence retention. Notably, the substitution of Ile161 with Ser, Thr, and Gly resulted in a pronounced loss of fluorescence, whereas replacement with Ala, Val, and Cys produced milder effects. These findings underscore the critical role of residue 161 in chromophore stability in red fluorescent proteins, offering valuable suggestions for designing more stable mCherry variants. Furthermore, preliminary crystallization trials identified promising conditions for future optimization and structural studies, which may elucidate the molecular basis of substitution influence at position 161 on fluorescence stability in mCherry variants.mCherry is among the most widely used red fluorescent proteins in advanced imaging techniques.
