    INTEGRATING MATHEMATICS AND ECONOMICS WITH THE SUPPORT OF GEOGEBRA SOFTWARE IN TEACHING THE SYSTEM OF FIRST-ORDER INEQUALITIES WITH TWO UNKNOWNS AT THE HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL

    The 2018 General Education Curriculum has introduced numerous innovative teaching methods including integrated teaching. Within the context of integrated teaching, interdisciplinary integration is among the teaching methods that have drawn significant attention. Meanwhile, the content of the system of first-order inequalities with two unknowns is a crucial topic in mathematics, potentially enhancing the integrated teaching methods. This study introduces a new teaching approach that integrates interdisciplinary teaching of mathematics and economics with the support of GeoGebra software in teaching the system of first order inequalities with two unknowns at the high school level. Building on existing research on integrated teaching, the research team employs both theoretical and practical research methods to develop a teaching approach tailored to the current educational context in Vietnam. The research has identified two approaches for exploiting, providing the teaching process as well as outlining methods to organize interdisciplinary teaching of mathematics and economics through economics problems about the system of first-order inequalities with two unknowns.     FACTORS INFLUENCING PRESCHOOL TEACHERS\u27 SELF -EFFICACY IN ORGANIZING SCIENCE EXPLORATION ACTIVITIES THROUGH THE INQUIRY-BASED APPROACH

    Nghiên cứu này được thực hiện nhằm khám phá những nhân tố ảnh hưởng đến sự tự tin tổ chức hoạt động khám phá khoa học cho trẻ mẫu giáo theo tiếp cận tìm tòi – khám phá của giáo viên mầm non. Mô hình cấu trúc tuyến tính theo phương pháp bình phương tối thiểu (PLS SEM) được sử dụng để phân tích dữ liệu khảo sát 137 giáo viên nhằm trả lời các giả thuyết nghiên cứu. Kết quả nghiên cứu chỉ ra rằng các yếu tố kiến thức chuyên môn và điều kiện tổ chức hoạt động có tác động đến sự tự tin của giáo viên, trong khi đó sự hỗ trợ của các bên liên quan không ảnh hưởng đáng kể. Các kết quả này đề xuất rằng việc bồi dưỡng kiến thức chuyên môn và kĩ năng giảng dạy có thể là hướng tiếp cận hiệu quả nhất để hỗ trợ giáo viên mầm non trong việc tổ chức hoạt động khoa học cho trẻ mẫu giáo theo tiếp cận tìm tòi – khám phá.This study aimed to explore factors influencing preschool teachers\u27 self-efficacy in organizing scientific exploration activities for preschool children using an inquiry-based learning approach. The Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method was employed to analyze survey data from 137 teachers to test the research hypotheses. The results indicated that professional knowledge and organizational conditions significantly impacted teachers\u27 self-efficacy, while stakeholder support did not have a significant effect. These findings suggest that enhancing professional knowledge and teaching skills may be the most effective approach to support preschool teachers in implementing inquiry-based science activities for preschool children

Project-based learning is a teaching method where students engage in complex tasks that seamlessly integrate theory and practice. Through high self-reliance, students autonomously complete tasks, acquiring essential knowledge and skills by solving problems linked to real-life contexts. Upon completing projects, students produce outcomes that align with learning objectives or propose practical solutions to real-world issues. This study employs document-based research methods closely linked to practical teaching. The paper proposes a process for applying project-based learning to environmental protection education for primary school students, based on relevant content, to meet the requirements of the 2018 General Education Curriculum.     Trong xu thế toàn cầu hóa hiện nay, việc cho trẻ mẫu giáo làm quen với tiếng Anh là một “chiến lược” quan trọng nhằm giúp trẻ hình thành và phát triển các kĩ năng sử dụng tiếng Anh như ngôn ngữ thứ hai. Các bài văn vần có vần điệu, nhịp điệu và sự lặp lại các từ và mẫu câu góp phần đáng kể trong việc khuyến khích trẻ mầm non tiếp thu từ vựng tiếng Anh. Đây là một công cụ hữu hiệu hỗ trợ cho việc học ngôn ngữ thông qua một trải nghiệm học tập vui nhộn và đáng nhớ. Bằng phương pháp nghiên cứu tài liệu và thao tác phân tích, tổng hợp, so sánh, bài viết chỉ ra ba biện pháp sử dụng văn vần phát triển vốn từ tiếng Anh cho trẻ mẫu giáo 5-6 tuổi, đó là: Lựa chọn các bài văn vần có lượng từ vựng phù hơp với năng lực của trẻ; Sáng tác các bài văn vần theo các chủ đề gần gũi; Tạo các tình huống tương tác trong quá trình tổ chức hoạt động sử dụng văn vần phát triển từ vựng tiếng Anh cho trẻ 5-6 tuổi. Bằng cách tăng cường phát triển từ vựng thông qua những bài văn vần thú vị, giáo viên có thể tạo ra một môi trường học tập kích thích, hỗ trợ cho quá trình tiếp thu ngôn ngữ của trẻ và khuyến khích sự yêu thích học tiếng Anh của trẻ ở những giai đoạn tiếp theo.In the current globalization trend, introducing preschool children to English is an important “strategy” to help children form and develop skills in using English as a second language. Rhyming poems with rhyme, rhythm and repetition of words and sentence patterns significantly encourage preschool children to acquire English vocabulary. This effective tool supports language learning through a fun and memorable learning experience. Using document research and analysis, synthesis and comparison, the article points out three measures to use rhyming poems to develop English vocabulary for preschool children aged 5-6, which are: Selecting rhyming poems with vocabulary appropriate to the child\u27s ability; Composing rhyming poems on familiar topics; Creating interactive situations in the process of organizing activities using rhyming poems to develop English vocabulary for children aged 5-6. By enhancing vocabulary development through engaging rhymes, teachers can create a stimulating learning environment that supports children\u27s language acquisition and encourages their love of learning English at later stages

    MULTIPLE OPPOSITIONS APPROACH USED IN SPEECH THERAPY OF CHILDREN WITH SPEECH SOUND DISORDERS: REVIEW AND SUGGESTIONS FOR USING IN VIETNAMESE

    Rối loạn âm lời nói thể hiện khó khăn trong tri giác âm, lên kế hoạch phát âm và phát âm. Nhiều phương pháp đã được sử dụng có hiệu quả trong can thiệp cho trẻ rối loạn âm lời nói, trong đó có phương pháp đa âm tương phản (Multiple Oppositions). Bằng phương pháp nghiên cứu tổng quan mô tả các tài liệu đã công bố, bài viết tìm hiểu về đa âm tương phản từ việc mô tả định nghĩa, các bước thực hiện và các bằng chứng nghiên cứu về hiệu quả của phương pháp này. Phương pháp này được thực hiện theo bốn bước bao gồm: (1) làm quen; (2) luyện tập tập trung về phát âm chùm tương phản từ bắt chước đến tự phát âm; (3) Phát âm chùm tương phản trong chơi tương tác; và (4) Phát âm các âm đích trong hội thoại tự nhiên. Trên cơ sở kết quả nghiên cứu tổng quan các nghiên cứu trên thế giới, bài viết cũng rút ra những điểm cần lưu ý khi vận dụng phương pháp này trong can thiệp chỉnh âm cho trẻ em nói tiếng Việt có rối loạn âm lời nói. Trong tương lai, cần có những nghiên cứu thực nghiệm áp dụng phương pháp này ở trẻ em nói tiếng Việt có rối loạn âm lời nói.Speech sound disorder presents difficulties in speech sound perception, representation (articulatory planning), and articulation affecting intelligibility of speech when communicating. Many intervention approaches have been used effectively in the intervention of children\u27s speech sounds, including the Multiple Oppositions Intervention. By using narrative review on international publications, this article describes the Multiple Oppositions Intervention approach including definition, implementation steps and empirical evidence for the efficacy of this approach. This approach consists of four implementation phases: (1) Familiarization and production of the contrast sets, (2) Focused practice of production of the contrasts from imitation to spontaneous; (3) Production of the contrasts within communicative contexts; and (4) Conversational recasts. Based on the review results, this article also presents recommendations for the use of this approach in speech therapy for Vietnamese-speaking children. Further studies are essential to examine the use of this approach in the Vietnamese language

    SOME THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL ISSUES ABOUT SEX EDUCATION CONTENT FOR ADOLESCENT AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER STUDENTS

    Hoạt động giáo dục giới tính cho học sinh RLPTK tuổi vị thành niên là rất quan trọng và cần thiết để các em có được những kĩ năng cơ bản liên quan đến giới tính. Bài viết này tập trung nghiên cứu cả lí luận và thực tiễn nội dung giáo dục giới tính cho học sinh RLPTK tuổi vị thành niên tại một số trung tâm giáo dục đặc biệt ở Hà Nội. Kết quả cho thấy hiện nay các giáo viên đã triển khai giáo dục giới tính cho học sinh RLPTK vị thành niên với 5 nội dung cơ bản là: (1) Xác định giới tính của bản thân; (2) Nhận biết sự thay đổi về sinh lí trong cơ thể; (3) Nhận biết sự thay đổi về tâm lí của bản thân; (4) Vệ sinh cơ thể liên quan đến kinh nguyệt và mộng tinh; (5) Bảo vệ an toàn bản thân liên quan đến giới tính (xâm hại, các bệnh…). Trong đó, nội dung giáo dục học sinh RLPTK vị thành niên xác định rõ giới tính của bản thân và những đặc điểm cơ bản liên quan đến giới tính được chú trọng nhiều nhất. Tuy nhiên, điểm hạn chế của bài viết này là nghiên cứu mới dừng lại ở việc đánh giá mức độ giáo viên thực hiện các nội dung giáo dục giới tính cho HS RLPTK, chưa đánh giá tính hiệu quả của việc giáo dục các nội dung.Sex education activities for adolescent students with autism spectrum disorder are very important and necessary for them to acquire basic skills related to gender. This article focuses on both theoretical and practical research on sex education content for adolescent children with autism spectrum disorder at the National Special Education Center. The results show that teachers have currently developed sex education for adolescent children with autism spectrum disorder with 5 basic contents: (1) Identifying one\u27s own gender; (2) Recognizing physiological changes in the body; (3) Recognizing psychological changes in the body; (4) Basic hygiene that can be related to menstruation and wet dreams; (5) Protecting the whole self-related to gender (abuse, diseases, etc.). In which, the content of educating adolescent children with an autism spectrum disorder to identify the gender of the body and basic characteristics related to gender receives the most attention

    THEORETICAL INVESTIGATION OF NITROGEN AND BORON DOPING EFFECTS ON THE ELECTRONIC AND OPTICAL PROPERTIES OF CERIA

    This study investigates the impact of nitrogen (N) and boron (B) doping on the electronic structure and optical properties of ceria (CeO2) using a combination of density functional theory plus U (DFT+U) and the GFN-xTB method. The calculations of electronic parameters and population analysis indicated that doping with N and B reduces the surface Lewis acidity of ceria, decreases the bandgap, and narrows the edges of the valence band and conduction band.     RANK OF THE DERIVATIVE OF THE PROJECTION TO SYMMETRIZED POLYDISC

    The projection, also called the symmetrization mapping, from spectral ball to symmetrized polydisc is closely related to the spectral Nevanlinna-Pick interpolation problem. We prove that the rank of the derivative of the projection from the spectral unit ball to the symmetrized polydisc is equal to the degree of the minimal polynomial of the matrix at which we take the derivative.     EVIDENCE OF MICROPLASTICS IN AGRICULTURAL WATER SYSTEMS OF NINH BINH PROVINCE, NORTHERN VIETNAM

    Microplastics are regarded as an emerging threat to water and other environments. The increasing use of plastics in agricultural cultivation has led to higher risks and more dangerous pollution of agricultural water. However, microplastics in agricultural water in Vietnam have neither been studied nor documented in any publication. To provide initial scientific evidence of microplastics in agricultural water in the country, we conducted a case study in Kim Son district, Ninh Binh province. Water samples were randomly collected from 15 representative sites within the canal systems of the study area. Our study results indicated that the agricultural water in the study area was polluted by microplastics, which vary considerably in all size, shape, and color aspects. The average concentration of microplastics found in the examined water was 491 ± 259 particles/m³, with detected microplastic sizes ranging from 302 to 4,593 μm. Among these, microplastics sized between 300 and 1,000 μm were the most dominant, accounting for 61.8% of the total detected microplastics. In terms of shape, 94.5% of the detected microplastics were fibers, present at all 15 study sites, while only 5.5% were fragments, found at just seven sites. The microplastics were also highly diverse in color, with white being the most common and densely present in every analyzed water sample. The results of the present study provide the first scientific evidence of microplastic occurrence in agricultural water within the study area and can serve as a crucial basis for comprehensive research and effective management of plastic products in the future.Microplastics are regarded as an emerging threat to water and other environments.
