DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF AN AI TEACHING ASSISTANT FOR ENHANCING STUDENTS\u27 SELF-STUDY IN 1OTH GRADE BIOLOGY
While AI applications in education are expanding, a baseline survey revealed that 60% of students (N = 184) expressed concerns that AI might impair their critical thinking. To address this, a six-component self-directed learning (SDL) competency model was employed to evaluate students’ SDL competence before and after learning with the AI teaching assistant (N = 223), with the most notable gains observed in “Inquiry and Questioning skills" (ΔM = 0.57) and “Strategic Study Plan” (ΔM = 0.38). Additionally, a customized AI teaching assistant for Grade 10 Biology was developed through a systematic five-step process to ensure strict alignment with the curriculum and academic accuracy. The tool was implemented in a high school setting utilizing the Human-AI-Human model combined with the Gradual Release of Responsibility (GRR) framework, transitioning students from teacher-led instruction to independent mastery. The pedagogical experiment results indicated significant improvements across all six SDL components, with the experimental class achieving a substantially higher midterm mean score (7.84) compared to the control class (6.97) with a large effect size (d = 0.86). These results reveal that a customized AI teaching assistant, especially when integrated within a structured pedagogical framework, acts as an effective learning scaffold that supports both SDL competence and academic performance.While AI applications in education are expanding, a baseline survey revealed that 60% of students (N = 184) expressed concerns that AI might impair their critical thinking. A LITERATURE REVIEW OF MULTISENSORY APPROACHES IN THERAPY FOR CHILDREN WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER
The paper examines the impact of multisensory approaches in education and therapy for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The study aims to analyze the methods and effectiveness of sensory stimulation (vision, hearing, touch, smell, and taste) in supporting children with ASD in developing communication skills, improving social interaction, and enhancing behavioral adjustment. The methods involved synthesizing and analyzing data from case studies and clinical trials. The authors focused on evaluating the effectiveness of educational and therapeutic strategies employing multisensory approaches and assessed improvements in areas such as communication and social behavior. The results indicate that multisensory methods significantly help children with ASD improve communication and social interaction skills while reducing undesirable behaviors. The paper underscores the importance of personalizing intervention programs to meet each child’s unique needs and strengths. In conclusion, integrating multisensory approaches into education and therapy provides new opportunities for addressing and enhancing the quality of life for children with ASD.Bài báo nghiên cứu tác động của các phương pháp đa giác quan trong giáo dục và trị liệu đối với trẻ rối loạn phổ tự kỉ (RLPTK). Mục đích của nghiên cứu là phân tích cách thức và hiệu quả của việc kích thích các giác quan (thị giác, thính giác, xúc giác, khứu giác, và vị giác) nhằm hỗ trợ trẻ RLPTK phát triển kĩ năng giao tiếp, tương tác xã hội, và cải thiện hành vi. Phương pháp được sử dụng bao gồm tổng hợp và phân tích dữ liệu từ các nghiên cứu trường hợp và thử nghiệm lâm sàng. Nhóm tác giả tập trung vào việc đánh giá hiệu quả của các chiến lược giáo dục và trị liệu áp dụng phương pháp đa giác quan, đồng thời khảo sát mức độ cải thiện ở các khía cạnh như giao tiếp và hành vi xã hội. Kết quả nghiên cứu chỉ ra rằng phương pháp đa giác quan không chỉ giúp trẻ RLPTK cải thiện đáng kể kĩ năng giao tiếp và tương tác xã hội mà còn giảm thiểu hành vi không mong muốn. Bài báo nhấn mạnh tầm quan trọng của việc cá nhân hóa chương trình can thiệp, đảm bảo phù hợp với nhu cầu và thế mạnh riêng của từng trẻ. Kết luận, việc tích hợp phương pháp đa giác quan vào giáo dục và trị liệu mở ra những cơ hội mới trong việc tiếp cận và cải thiện chất lượng cuộc sống cho trẻ RLPTK
EXPLICIT PSEUDO THREE-STEP RUNGE-KUTTA METHODSFOR NONSTIFF INITIAL VALUE PROBLEMS
This paper investigates a class of explicit pseudo three-step Runge-Kutta methods for arbitrarily high order nonstiff initial value problems for systems of first-order differential equations. By using collocation techniques and by suitably choosing collocation points we can obtain a stable -stage explicit pseudo three-step Runge-Kutta method (EPThRK method) of order requiring only one effective sequential f-evaluation per step on -processor parallel computers. By a few widely-used test problems, we show the superiority of the new EPThRK methods proposed in this paper over red well-known parallel PIRK codes and efficient sequential ODEX, DOPRI5 and DOP853 codes available in the literature.This paper investigates a class of explicit pseudo three-step Runge-Kutta methods for arbitrarily high order nonstiff initial value problems for systems of first-order differential equations. EVALUATION OF THE ROLE OF REACTIVE OXYGEN SPECIES IN PMC-BASED OXIDATION SYSTEMS FOR RB21 DYE DEGRADATION
This work aimed to evaluate the contribution of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in a green oxidation system based on peroxymonocarbonate (PMC) to the degradation efficiency of RB21 textile dye using ROS scavengers such as t-butanol, terephthalic acid (TA), N,N-dimethylaniline (DMA), ascorbic acid. The results showed that in reaction conditions including RB21 dye 4.63 10-2 mM (50 mg/L); HCO3– 50 mM; H2O2 100 mM; Co2+ 1.70 10-3 mM (0.1 mg/L), the RB21degradation efficiency reached 90% after 180 minutes of which the contribution percentage of CO3•– radicals was the most important, 98.2%, while •OH and other ROS hardly contributed to the degradation process of RB21 dye. APPLICATION OF SPECTROSCOPIC METHODS FOR THE AUTHENTICATION OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS OF VIETNAM: A STUDY OF ST25 RICE
Food fraud, particularly in staple commodities like rice, poses significant risks to trademark protection as well as economic challenges. In this study, we explored the efficacy of Raman spectroscopy in differentiating authentic ST25 rice—a premium variety of Vietnam from other rice types, amidst concerns of adulteration. By utilizing both backscattering and transmission Raman spectroscopy, a total of 125 rice samples consisting of both commercial rice and Vietnamese landrace rice varieties were analyzed. All samples were categorized into two main groups namely ST25 and Non-ST25 for the construction of the classification model. Through principal component analysis (PCA) and k-nearest neighbors (kNN) classification method, we achieved classification accuracies of 81.58% for backscattering data and up to 97.37% for transmission data at elevated temperatures. Our findings highlight the efficacy of Raman spectroscopy for rice authenticity verification, nevertheless, modification in spectral measurement schemes is necessary to obtain better method reproducibility as well as to maintain high discriminatory accuracy of the classification model.Food fraud, particularly in staple commodities like rice, poses significant risks to trademark protection as well as economic challenges. DEVELOPING CRITERIA FOR ASSESSING THE QUALITY OF HUMAN RESOURCES SERVING GREEN GROWTH IN CULTIVATION ACTIVITIES
Chất lượng nhân lực có vai trò quan trọng trong quá trình thực hiện tăng trưởng xanh, ảnh hưởng đến khả năng chuyển đổi phương thức sản xuất và tiếp cận khoa học công nghệ trong hoạt động trồng trọt. Một trong những công cụ để nâng cao chất lượng nhân lực là đánh giá chất lượng nhân lực phục vụ tăng trưởng xanh trong hoạt động trồng trọt dựa trên các tiêu chí đạt được của phương thức sản xuất xanh. Nghiên cứu này, tập trung làm rõ một số nội dung về tăng trưởng xanh, chất lượng nhân lực phục vụ tăng trưởng xanh trong hoạt động trồng trọt trên cơ sở tư liệu của các tổ chức trong và ngoài nước; từ đó, đề xuất các tiêu chí đánh giá chất lượng nhân lực phục vụ tăng trưởng xanh trong hoạt động trồng trọt với đối tượng được đánh giá là nông dân – những người lao động tham gia trực tiếp vào hoạt động trồng trọt, trong đó, tập trung vào đánh giá các thành tố về kiến thức, kĩ năng, thái độ của nhân lực.The quality of human resources plays an important role in implementing green growth in cultivation activities, affecting the ability to transform production methods and access to science and technology. One of the tools for improving the quality of human resources is to assess it serving green growth in cultivation activities based on achievement criteria of green production methods. This research has clarified some contents of green growth, the quality of human resources serving green growth in cultivation activities from documents of domestic and international organizations; therefore, proposes criteria for assessing the quality of human resources serving green growth in cultivation activities with the evaluation object being farmers who are direct labor, in which, it focused the elements of knowledge, skills, and attitude of human resources
RURAL TOURISM DEVELOPMENT IN THO SON COMMUNE, HON DAT DISTRICT, KIEN GIANG PROVINCE
Xã Thổ Sơn (huyện Hòn Đất) có nhiều khả năng phát triển du lịch nông thôn nhưng thiếu những nghiên cứu liên quan - cung cấp bằng chứng cho sự phát triển du lịch ở địa phương. Nghiên cứu này được thực hiện nhằm phân tích, đánh giá tiềm năng, thực trạng và đề xuất giải pháp phát triển du lịch nông thôn ở địa bàn nghiên cứu. Phương pháp thu thập và xử lí dữ liệu thứ cấp, quan sát thực địa, điều tra bằng bảng hỏi và phỏng vấn cấu trúc được sử dụng. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy, xã Thổ Sơn có nhiều lợi thế (vị trí thuận lợi, tài nguyên du lịch đa dạng và hấp dẫn, người dân địa phương thân thiện) nhưng cũng đối mặt với những rào cản (hệ thống giao thông chưa đồng bộ, cơ sở vật chất kĩ thuật du lịch chưa tốt, đội ngũ lao động phục vụ du lịch còn thiếu và yếu, dịch vụ và loại hình du lịch chưa đa dạng, công tác quảng bá hình ảnh điểm đến còn nhiều hạn chế) trong phát triển du lịch nông thôn. Một số giải pháp khắc phục các rào cản trên được đề xuất - cung cấp tài liệu tham khảo hữu ích trong lĩnh vực du lịch nông thôn.Tho Son commune (Hon Dat district) has much potential for developing rural tourism but lacks relevant research for such development. This study was conducted to analyze and evaluate the potential and current situation and propose solutions to develop rural tourism in the study area. Methods of secondary data collection and processing, field observations, questionnaire survey, and structured interview were used. Research results show that Tho Son commune has various advantages, such as convenient location, diverse and attractive tourism resources, friendly locals, yet faces barriers, including transport system is not synchronized, tourism facilities are not up to par, tourism workforce is weak and lacking, services and types of tourism are not diversified, and the promotion of the destination\u27s image is still limited in rural tourism development. Some solutions to overcome the above barriers are proposed with a hope to provide useful references in rural tourism
ADAPTATION THE CYBERBULLYING VICTIMIZATION SCALE FOR ADOLESCENTS
ghiên cứu nhằm mục đích thích nghi thang đo nạn nhân bắt nạt trực tuyến dành cho thanh thiếu niên. Mẫu nghiên cứu bao gồm 102 học sinh trường trung học phổ thông Ngô Thời Nhiệm, tỉnh Bình Dương. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy thang đo nạn nhân bắt nạt trực tuyến dành cho thanh thiếu niên bao gồm tám item (đơn nhân tố) có độ tin cậy Cronbach’s alpha (α = 0,855) và hiệu lực cấu trúc tốt (χ2/df = 1,440; CFI = 0,975; GFI = 0,936; RMSEA = 0,066 và PCLOSE = 0,290). Nghiên cứu này xác định có 58,8% học sinh là nạn nhân của bắt nạt trực tuyến. Nghiên cứu này góp phần làm phong phú thêm các công cụ đo lường về bắt nạt trực tuyến tại Việt NamThe study aimed to adapt the cyberbullying victimization scale for adolescents. The research sample included 102 students in Binh Duong province. Research results showed that the cyberbullying victimization scale for adolescents includes eight items (a single factor) with good Cronbach’s alpha reliability and construct validity (χ2/df = 1,440; CFI = 0,975; GFI = 0,936; RMSEA = 0,066 và PCLOSE = 0,290). This study determined that 58.8% of students were victims of cyberbullying. This study contributed to enriching measurement tools for cyberbullying in Vietnam
USING AUGMENTED REALITY IN TEACHING CHEMISTRY FOR DEVELOPING STUDENT’S SELF-STUDY COMPETENCE THROUGH THE TOPIC OF “NITROGEN-SULFUR” IN CHEMISTRY 11
Việc sử dụng công nghệ thực tế ảo tăng cường (AR) trong dạy học có tác dụng phát huy tính tích cực, tự giác, chủ động sáng tạo, rèn khả năng tự học cho học sinh ở trường phổ thông. Trong bài báo này, chúng tôi sử dụng phần mềm CoSpace Edu để xây dựng, thiết kế hai sản phẩm AR chủ đề “Nitrogen-Sulfur” trong chương trình Hóa học lớp 11 kết hợp với mô hình lớp học đảo ngược nhằm giúp HS có thể dễ dàng trong việc tự học, tự kiểm tra và đánh giá kết quả học tập, từ đó nâng cao kết quả học tập môn Hóa học ở trường phổ thông. Nghiên cứu đã thực nghiệm trên 170 HS tại Trường Trung học cơ sở và Trung học phổ thông Tạ Quang Bửu và Trường Trung học phổ thông Đan Phượng để đo lường kết quả trước tác động và sau tác động. Kết quả thực nghiệm sư phạm cho thấy, giá trị ES = 0,77; giá trị t- test độc lập p = 1,196.10-5, chứng tỏ tác động đã có ảnh hưởng lớn đến nhận thức và năng lực tự học của HS. Kết quả thực nghiệm sư phạm cho thấy tính hiệu quả và khả thi của việc ứng dụng công nghệ thực tế tăng cường nhằm phát triển năng lực tự học cho học sinh trong dạy học hóa học.Augmented reality (AR) technology in teaching promotes positivity, self-discipline, proactivity, and creativity, enhancing students\u27 self-learning capabilities in high schools. In this article, we use the CoSpace Edu software to build and design two augmented reality products on the topic of “Nitrogen-Sulfur” in the 11th-grade Chemistry Curriculum combined with the flipped classroom model aiming to help students more easily self-study, self-test, and assess their learning outcomes, thereby improving their chemistry learning results in high schools. The research was conducted experimentally on 170 students at Ta Quang Buu Secondary and High School and Dan Phuong High School to measure results before and after the impact. The pedagogical experiment results showed that the ES value was 0.77, and the independent t-test value was p = 1,196.10-5, indicating that the impact significantly influenced students\u27 cognition and self-learning abilities. The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of applying AR technology to develop SLC for students in teaching chemistry
MANAGING INTERNATIONAL FACULTY AT HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS: A CASE STUDY IN VIETNAM
A quantitative research approach was utilized to comprehend the present state of managing international faculty within public higher education institutions (HEIs) in Vietnam and discern the human resource management model employed by these institutions. The study surveyed 210 participants from 56 public HEIs in Vietnam to explore their perspectives on human resource management practices with international faculty. The findings revealed that public HEIs in Vietnam managed international faculty following characteristics reminiscent of the Michigan human resource management model. Various human resource practices, encompassing Recruitment, Performance evaluation, Compensation and rewards, and Training and development, were adopted to varying degrees across multiple public HEIs in Vietnam.
