No full textAt the end of the XIX century, the Third French Republic has turned the French language into the main symbol of the nation and was conducting a policy to integrate rural areas into the official and main culture. In the Basque region, the clergy were a strong supporter of the Basque and used it to confront republican agents. But how was this confrontation supposed to take place, considering that the Soule was a multilingual region? No full textTextbooks are one of the most widely used resources in science education. Consequently, their analysis is essential both in order to know the quality and typology of the instruction students’ receive and to improve them. In this study, the treatment of the topic of plant nutrition in the biology textbooks of the 1st year of Baccalaureate has been studied regarding four basic aspects: structure, conceptual content, images and activities. Thus, it has been observed that the most common books in the BAC promote reproductive and superficial learning, which is not enough to develop the scientific competence and deep understanding of scientific models that the current science teaching/learning pursue.Testuliburuak baliabide erabilienetarikoak dira zientzien hezkuntzan. Ondorioz, horien azterketa funtsezkoa da bai ikasleek jasotzen duten instrukzioaren kalitatea eta tipologia ezagutzeko bai liburuak hobetzeko. No full textAlthough more than 20 years have passed since the concept of lipid raft was proposed, the existence of these nanostructures is still under discussion, as there are no noninvasive methods that can be used in living cells to investigate the nanoorganization of these structures. In this article, a bioorthogonal cholesterol probe (chol-N3) has been developed which, combined with live-cell super-resolution microscopy, is a powerful method for direct observation and characterization of <50 nm lipid rafts in the plasma membrane of living cells. This probe mimics endogenous cholesterol in synthetic and cellular membranes without perturbation.Baltsa lipidikoaren kontzeptua proposatu zenetik 20 urte baino gehiago igaro diren arren, nanoegitura horien existentziak oraindik ere eztabaidagai izaten jarraitzen du, ez baitago egitura horien nanoantolaketa ikertzeko zelula bizietan erabili daitekeen metodo ez-inbaditzailerik. No full textPolymeric additives such as polycarboxylate ethers (PCE) are widely used to improve the properties of cement-based materials. PCEs not only improve the workability of the cement paste, but also delay the hydration of the cement. In this work, we synthesized PCEs with different structures, by means of free-radical polymerization, and then analyzed the effect they have on an Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC) cement and the main crystalline phases of that cement. It has been observed that on OPC the hydration delay is proportional to the carboxylate dose, and that all PCEs can be adjusted to a master curve. When analyzing the crystalline phases individually, however, this is not fulfilled, as each side chain length has its own curve.Zementuan oinarritutako materialen propietateak hobetzeko, PCE (polycarboxylate ether) deituriko gehigarri polimerikoak erabiltzen dira. PCEek zementu-pastaren maneiukortasuna hobetzeaz gain, zementuaren hidratazioa atzeratzen dute. No full textIn this article its author puts forward and argues that the increasing use of Basque in explanatory and argumentative texts is bringing about an evolution in the ideas about the word-order in the Basque written logical-discursive prose. In this context a research work is presented regarding the criteria shown by two samples of users of the language with differing levels of proficiency, in which the most expert group shows a clearer trend towards reducing the back-burden of Euskara than the young students to whom they are compared.Artikulu honetan egileak proposatzen eta argudiatzen du euskaraz eginiko testu azalpen-argudiozkoen ugaritzeak ekartzen ari duela bilakaera oraintsu arte izan diren ideietan euskarazko hitz-ordenari dagokionez, idatzizko prosa logiko-diskurtsiboaren eremuan. No full textAfter pandemic, and in order to to overcome its serious effects on functioning of courts, Spanish legislator has presented «Procedural efficiency of public justice service» bill. Its main novelty are the Adequate Techniques of Conflict Resolution, converted, as a rule, into a mandatory condition to enter to civil courts. They are also strengthened once the civil process has begun. The aim is to make a critical reading about them, delving, mainly, into their relationship with the Judiciary. No full textThis article addresses the language switching between Basque and Spanish in a little studied context: the interventions at the Basque Parliament. A corpus of 30 interventions from 15 speakers has been analysed in order to determine how often, where and what for is language switching used. The results show that this is a common phenomenon among the analysed Basque politicians, particularly in the central part of the text. In addition, seven pragmatic functions that are potentially linked to the parliamentary interventions have also been detected.Artikulu honek euskararen eta gaztelaniaren arteko hizkuntzen alternantzia du aztergai, gutxi ikertutako testuinguru batean: Eusko Legebiltzarreko interbentzioetan. No full textEnvironmental factors cause health problems and/or disease, but how it occurs is unknown. Most of the research carried out so far has indicated that epigenetic transformations can play a key role in this process, being the point of connection between both. Morphine, for example, can easily cross the placenta, which significantly affects the normal development of the embryo, affecting the development of the neural tube, frontal cortex and spinal cord, making it difficult for the proper development of the nervous system. Therefore, considering that DNA methylation is a key epigenetic transformation in embryonic development, our objective is to clarify the role that methylation can play in the presence of morphine, for which we have resorted to state-ofthe-art techniques.Ingurumen-faktoreek osasun-arazoak edota gaixotasunak sortzen dituzte, baino hori nola ematen den ezezaguna da. Orain arteko ikerketa gehienek adierazi dutenez, eraldaketa epigenetikoek funtzio gakoa bete dezakete prozesu horretan, bien arteko lotura puntua izanik. Morfinak, esaterako, plazenta-hesia modu erraz batean zeharkatu dezake, eta, ondorioz, enbrioiaren ohiko garapenean nabarmen eragiten du; hodi neurala, kortex frontala eta bizkarrezur-muinaren garapenak ukituta geratzen dira, nerbio-sistemaren garapen egokia oztopatuz. No full textThere is no consensus when it comes to determine the items that are part of the adpositional category in Basque. In this sense, the aim of this work is to define better the groups within this category. After considering the most relevant morphosyntactic and semantic properties of Basque adpositions, I establish three main groups, simple locative adpositions (-ra, -tik), Axial Parts (azpi, gain) and Complex Directional Adpositions (-ra arte, -tik kanpo). In addition, I propose a grammaticalization chain that connects these groups between each other. Finally, I adopt a nanosyntactic approach to structurally illustrate the differences between complex adpositions and Axial Parts.Euskarazko lekuzko adposizioen kategoria osatzen duten aleak zein diren zehazterakoan ez da erabateko adostasunik egon egileen artean. Horregatik, lan honen helburua lekuzko adposizioen artean multzoak zehaztea eta definitzea da.
