SPIRITUAL CARE IN PALLIATIVE CONTEXTS: PERSPECTIVES FROM HINDU FAMILY CAREGIVERS – A SCOPING REVIEW
Full text linkThis scoping review examines spiritual care in palliative settings from the perspective of Hindu family caregivers, utilizing articles from ProQuest, ScienceDirect, and PubMed, and applying the Joanna Briggs Institute Critical Appraisal Tool. By analyzing eleven studies published between 2019 and 2023, we uncover how Hindu spirituality influences care at the end of life, highlighting themes such as the Concept of Death, Spiritual Needs, and Caregiving Challenges. Findings reveal the critical role of family in providing spiritual support, the blend of religious rituals with caregiving, and the array of challenges faced by caregivers, including emotional and financial burdens. The review advocates for palliative care models that integrate Hindu spiritual practices, addressing the need for culturally sensitive care that respects the spiritual beliefs of Hindu patients and their caregivers. Ultimately, this review underscores the necessity of a holistic approach to palliative care that accommodates spiritual needs within Hindu families. It advocates for the inclusion of transcultural care principles, especially significant for Muslim nurses who are prominently represented in the profession. By integrating these insights, healthcare providers can offer culturally sensitive and spiritually respectful care to patients of diverse backgrounds. This approach not only bridges cultural divides but also enriches the palliative care experience for all involved

Full text linkThis paper explores the significant impact of social media on the economic performance of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Malaysia, emphasizing its role in enhancing business outcomes. With SMEs constituting a substantial portion of Malaysia's commercial sector, their digital adoption is crucial yet remains underdeveloped compared to larger corporations. Social media integration offers SMEs notable advantages, including improved customer engagement, enhanced financial performance, and increased market share. The study highlights that platform such as Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp are pivotal for SMEs to strengthen customer relationships, boost brand visibility, and gain insights into consumer behavior. Additionally, social media adoption positively influences financial performance by enhancing corporate reputation and managing expenditures efficiently, though the impact varies by industry and region. Despite its benefits, successful social media integration requires overcoming challenges related to content creation, strategic alignment, and digital literacy. The findings suggest that SMEs should develop comprehensive social media strategies, invest in digital skills training, and utilize analytics to optimize marketing efforts and expand market presence. This research contributes to understanding social media's role in SME economic development and provides a foundation for future studies on long-term impacts and industry-specific case studies
TULISAN JAWI DI NEGERI PAHANG: CABARAN DAN HARAPAN
Full text linkTulisan Jawi merupakan warisan khazanah peradaban Islam di alam Melayu yang sangat bernilai. Namun begitu, kedudukan tulisan Jawi pada hari ini tidak lagi seperti zaman sebelum kedatangan penjajah. Hal ini berikutan kewujudan Akta Bahasa 1963 yang menetapkan tulisan Rumi sebagai tulisan rasmi bahasa Melayu. Keadaan ini menyebabkan kedudukan tulisan Jawi di Malaysia telah tergugat. Justeru, kajian ini dijalankan untuk mengenal pasti sejarah penggunaan tulisan Jawi di Pahang serta menganalisis cabaran-cabaran yang dihadapi dan langkah yang diambil dalam memperkasakan tulisan ini. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data-data dikumpul melalui analisis dokumen. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa antara cabaran yang dihadapi dalam memartabatkan tulisan Jawi ialah persepsi masyarakat bukan Melayu serta kelemahan penguasaan ejaan Jawi yang tepat. Manakala usaha-usaha untuk menyemarakkan kembali penggunaan tulisan Jawi telah dilaksanakan melalui peranan istana, penubuhan institut Jawi serta pembangunan aplikasi e-Jawi Makmur
ADOPTING BEST PRACTICES: A COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF UK AND JAPAN WATER POLICIES FOR ENHANCED GOVERNANCE IN KLANG VALLEY, MALAYSIA

It aims to improve governance structures byconducting a comparative examination of water policy in two globallyrecognised contexts: the United Kingdom (UK) and Japan. The researchexamines the fundamental concepts and successful examples of waterpolicies in the UK, which is known for its effective and sustainable watermanagement systems. These findings can potentially be used as a standardfor the Klang Valley. Moreover, an examination of Japan's water policyprovides significant knowledge, highlighting the potential applicability ofspecific strategies in the Malaysian setting. The study methodology involvesanalysing the available literature, papers, and records about water policiesin the UK and Japan. Furthermore, in-depth interviews with key stakeholdersinvolved in water governance in the Klang Valley are also conducted toprovide firsthand perspectives, hence guaranteeing a detailedcomprehension of the distinctive difficulties and prospects in the area. Thefindings highlight practices that can be applied in many contexts and provideclear recommendations for implementing and modifying effective policies.The objective of this study is to promote improved cooperation amongFederal, State, and Local agencies by aligning the water governance of theKlang Valley with worldwide norms. In addition to its local context, theresearch makes a valuable contribution to the wider discussion on how toeffectively govern at multiple levels when faced with complex watermanagement difficulties. It offers valuable insights that may be used toimprove policy and practice, not only in Malaysia but also in similar contextsaround the world
THE ROLE OF RELIGION IN ECONOMIC DECISION MAKING
Full text linkThis study aims to investigate the influence of religion on economic decision-making in contemporary society. This study employs a quantitative survey technique to acquire a comprehensive knowledge of the complexities of the variables that impact economic decisions, as well as the consequences of these results in the context of inclusive and sustainable economic policy. The study includes 164 volunteers ranging in age from 17 to 28 years, 28 to 46 years, 46 to 58 years, and over 59 years. According to the survey data, religion has a significant influence on attitudes about investment and consumption. The findings of this study have significant implications for designing inclusive economic policies. Good religious education can help deepen individuals' understanding of how religious values can be integrated into their economic decisions

No full textالوقوف على بعض محطّات التّاريخ، لا يطمئن الإنسان في دينه فقط، بل يساعده أيضًا على أن يكشف مدى قوّة هذا الدّين وصلابته أمام كلّ التّحدّيّات عبر القرون، سواء كانت تحدّيّات الوثنيّين، أو تحدّيات اليهود أو تحدّيات النّصارى. وإذا كان اليهود قد تحدّوا الإسلام واعتزّوا بكبار علمائهم فسلّ منهم الله أعلم علمائهم وهو عبد الله بن سلام وأدخله في الإسلام، ثمّ انقلبوا على أعقابهم يقولون عكس ما كانوا يقولون فيه، فأسقطوا أمام أنفسهم بالفضيحة، فإنّ عبد الله التّرجمان، كان يمثّل نفس الشّخصيّة عند النّصارى وحصل له ما حصل لعبد الله بن سلام تماما في قصّته هذه. وهذا البحث يأتي لتقريب صورة كتابه الموسوم بــــــ "تحفة الأريب في الرّدّ على أهل الصّليب" والّذي يبيّن فيه سبب توبته الّذي هو نفس سبب تأليفه لهذا الكتاب، كما يردّ فيه على النّصارى في مختلف مسائلهم العقديّة بأدلّة من كتبهم....وقد قسّمته إلى مقدّمة وثلاثة مباحث، يتناول المبحث الأوّل: ترجمة المؤلّف ووصف كتابه، والمبحث الثّاني: في محتوى الكتاب، والمبحث الأخير: في رسائل الكتاب، ونظرا لأنّ طبيعة البحث هو وصف لمحتوى هذا الكتاب واختصاره للقارئ، فإنّ المنهج الّذي اختاره الباحث للنسج على قالبه، هو المنهج الوصفي. وقد آثرت فيه إبقاء العزو إلى الأناجيل الأربعة على الصّيغة الّتي أوردها المؤلّف في كتابه فقط؛ أي ذكر المرجع وعدد الصّفحات بالحروف بدل الأرقام. وممّا يتوصّل البحث إليه من نتائج، هو أنّه يزيدنا قناعة بالآيات القرآنيّة وفهمها حين تتكلّم عن اليهود والنّصارى، منها"ولن ترضى عنك اليهود ولا النّصارى حتّى تتّبع ملّتهم"، ومنها:"...ولتجدنّ أقربهم مودّة للذين آمنوا الّذين قالوا إنّا نصارى"، كما أنّه يؤكّد لنا صلابة الدّين الإسلامي وقوّة أدلّته في مواقف التّناظر والمقارعة بالحجج، بينما الظّاهر من دين النّصارى خلوّه عن هذه القوّة مع اشتماله على التّناقضات الكثيرة الّتي تجعل المناظر منهم لا يقوى في ميادين التّناظر. وعلى هذا فمن الأهمّية جدًّا بمكان، أن تتضافر الجهود الإسلاميّة لدعم وتقوية الأنشطة الّتي يقدّمها بعض الدّعاة في مجال مقارنة الأديان
WEB BROWSER SECURITY AND ITS CORRELATION WITH CYBERSECURITY AWARENESS AMONG MALAYSIAN UNIVERSITY STUDENTS
Full text linkUniversity students, who commonly utilize digital technologies for their academic pursuits and daily activities, are increasingly prone to cyber threats. Existin. g literature highlights the lack of cybersecurity awareness among university students in Malaysia. To answer the research question, this research will examine the relationship between Web Browser Security and Cybersecurity Awareness. Data collection involves distributing an online questionnaire to university students in Malaysia. A simple linear regression analysis was conducted to address the research question. The results indicate that Web Browser Security was positively related to cybersecurity awareness. Implications from these results are further discussed

No full textإن للدعوة الإسلامية مكانة عظيمة في الإسلام، فهي وظيفة الأنبياء والرسل ومن تبعهم وسار على دربهم إلى يوم القيامة. ووسائل الدعوة متجددة في كل عصر؛ ومن هذه الوسائل المعاصرة الذكاء الاصطناعي؛ أحد الوسائل الحديثة الذكية،وتبرز أهميتها في أنها تحاكي ذكاء الإنسان، بل تفوق الإنسان في سرعة البحث وإنجاز المهام ، ومن هنا تأتي أهمية هذه الوسيلة بالنسبة للعمل الدعوي والهدف من هذه الدراسة بيان مفهوم الذكاء الاصطناعي ، وشرح أهميته ، والمنهج المستخدم في هذه الدراسة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي حيث تصف الدراسة مدى أهمية الذكاء الاصطناعي للداعي إلى الله عز وجل ، وتحليل هذه الأهمية. ومن الاستنتاجات الرئيسة لهذه الدراسة : استخدام الذكاء الاصطناعي في الدعوة المعاصرة يخفف على الداعية الكثير من الضغوطات،و يساهم في الحفاظ على وقت الداعية وجهده ، ويساعد الدعاة في ابتكار أحدث الوسائل الدعوية وتطويرها لتلائم موضوعات الدعوة إلى الله وفق معطيات العصر

No full textUnity of the nation in Islam is the foundation of building the Islamic society, and it is a proven fact according to the Quran and Hadith. Muslims consolidated their state during the era of the Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - and after that, and the basis of this strength was Islamic unity. The enemies of Islam realized this strength, so they wanted to tear it apart, so they adopted methods and ways to destroy it. Among the challenges facing Islamic unity are the intellectual invasion of Muslims, and the incitement of division and conflict among them. Muslims helped them in this with their fanaticism, ignorance, weakness, and preoccupation with worldly pleasures and their abandonment of their religion, so the nation was dispersed, weakened, and its enemies took advantage of it. The way out of division, conflict, and weakness is to go to the core of religion with sincerity, and without deviating to one sect over another. It is imperative to preserve the unity of the nation by rejecting differences, cooperating in what we agree upon, and forgiving each other in what we differed in. The objectives of this study include clarifying the concept of Islamic unity, clarifying the challenges facing Islamic unity, and explaining ways to achieve Islamic unity. In this research, I have followed the inductive and analytical approaches; by tracing the sources that clarify the reality of Islamic unity, the challenges it faces, analyzing the ways to achieve Islamic unity, and how to advance this nation. Among the results of this study: that among the challenges facing Islamic unity is the intellectual invasion of Muslims, and the incitement of division and conflict among them, and Muslims helped them in this with their fanaticism and ignorance. And that working to restore the Islamic Caliphate is a way to achieve Islamic unity.
