NUTRITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ATHLETES
Biopolymers and micronutrients play a special role in the diet of athletes compared to the general population. This is due to the fact that athletes are more active in the production and consumption of energy. Special attention should be paid to a balanced diet to cover energy expenditure
OPTIMIZATION AND PREDICTION OF MELTING EFFICIENCY OF MILD STEEL WELDMENT, USING RESPONSE SURFACE METHODOLOGY
Melting efficiency is one among the vital factors regarded in Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding while appraising the quality of welds. In the welding field, proper melting efficiency brings about the development of a weld pool that is dense. This research is done to optimize and predict melting efficiency of mild steel weldment, utilizing Response Surface Method (RSM).Central composite design(CCD) matrix was used to gather data from the sets of experiments, the specimen was produced from mild steel plates and welded with the TIG process, thereafter the RSM was employed for the optimization and the prediction of the responses from the process parameters.Response Surface Methodology was used to predict melting efficiency of TIG welds. The model had p-values less than 0.05 which shows the significance of the model and “predict R-Squared” value of 0.790025 is in moderately good agreement with the “Adj R-Squared” value of 0.9985. One way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was done and the result showed that it is a significant model and possess a very good fit. To validate the significance and adequacy of the model, a coefficient of determination (R-Squared) of 0.904201 indicating the appreciable strength of the model. The computed signal to noise ratio of 19.41136 as observed in Table 7 shows an acceptable signal
THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN MEDIA LITERACY COMPETENCY AND THE POLITICAL STANCE OF THE STUDENTS IN DAVAO DEL NORTE STATE COLLEGE
Being critical in today\u27s media environment is crucial to becoming a well-informed citizen. The proliferation of internet hoaxes misleading the people has become rampant. The internet user\u27s duty and responsibility are to conduct a simple scan of the laid information and be accountable for the effects it may cause. As modern platforms such as social media popularize various content, including political posts, literacy in criticizing propaganda should manifest. This research aimed to overlook whether media literacy correlates with peoples\u27 political stances. The questionnaires were split into both variables, providing the media information competency scores and the political perspectives of the students in Davao del Norte State College. The results show that students\u27 media literacy has a mean of 4.2637 with a standard deviation of 0.47603. At the same time, the political stance yields a mean of 4.2978 with a standard deviation of 0.43568. This result proves that both have a weak positive relationship, indicating that media literacy is not the sole factor in one\u27s political engagements
A REVIEW ON A ROBUST DIGITAL IMAGE WATERMARKING USING DWT-PCA
A complete approach for watermarking is presented in this System, by using Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) and Principal Component Analysis (PCA). There are some watermarking techniques like DCT, DWT, and DWT-SVD, but there is a disadvantage in the watermarking to withstand attacks. Hence the new digital image watermarking algorithm is proposed which provide robust watermarking with minimal amount of distortion in case of attacks. DWT offers scalability and PCA helps in diminishing relationship among the wavelet coefficients acquired from wavelet disintegration of each square in this manner scattering the watermark bits into the interrelated coefficient. Peak signal-tonoise ratio (PSNR) is used as a measure for invisibility in watermarked image. The higher value of PSNR indicates the better invisibility of watermark. whereas similarity between two images by normalized correlation coefficient test the transparency and robustness against various attacks like cropping, noise, rotation, filtering etc. The proposed system should provide the recoverable watermark without any reasonable amount of distortion even in case of attacks
AUTOMATION OF DUPLEX MILLING MACHINE BY USING PLC
In the competitive market requires the special skills and technology. Especially cost cutting and control of overheads has become an prime necessity. Man power control and man power reduction has become common in these slowdown. Our project deals with such a concept which saves a labour cost and increases the operator efficiency. On similar ground we are going to manufacture duplex milling machine by using PLC To reduce the operators fatigue and improve productivity it was decide to design and manufacturing special purpose milling machine in which both side milling of cylindrical rod takes place. Milling process removes material from the work piece by advancing tool into work piece duplex milling machine is special type of machine. The type of cutters and shop formulas for setting up each operation safely plays a critical part in any operation involving power equipment. This also includes products for maintaining and proper setting up the work and methods of selecting various tools and object holding devices to get a job done safely without cursing damage to the equipment yourself or someone nearby. In conventional machine such as lathe machine both side milling requires large time for manufacturing as we have to hold work piece twice and surface finish is also moderate. So we are manufacturing duplex milling machine in which at a time both side face milling takes place and also surface finish is also very good

DESIGN & FABRICATION OF SCROLLING DISPLAY BY USING FOOT STEP POWER GENERATION
Energy is the main concern of present day. The production of electric current in a huge amount is the need of today world. There are different methods used for the production of energy like conventional and non-conventional methods. Here I will represent the non- conventional method for the production of electric current. This non-conventional method is “Footstep power generation Mechanism” here the energy will be produced by moving the human on a moving plate in which rack and pinion gear are used to convert the physical energy into mechanical energy and further they will have converted into electric energy by using the dynamo. By using this method, we will have produced the energy use to run the LED Scrolling Display. I will also represent the simulation of the footstep power generator using the ansys15.0 software. By the results it seen we will produce the power in one hour. This paper will be cost effective and easy to installed in a populated area like railway station, bus stands and in shopping malls. this project is cost effective and easy to implement

EXPERIMENTAL PERFORMANCE FLEXURE STRESS OF FERRO CEMENT BEAM WITH NUMBER OF LAYER MESH
The present study describes the results of testing Ferro cement beam reinforced with different number of wire mesh layers. The main objective of this work is to study the effect of using different no of wire mesh layers on the flexural strength of Ferro cement beam and to compare the effect of varying the no of wire mesh layers. The no of layers used are one, two, three, four, and five up to twelve layers of mesh used in beams. The beam moulds size is 700*150*150 with welded square mesh with varying no of layers of mesh. Beams were casted with mortar of mix proportions (1:2) and water cement ratio (0.38). There is no super plasticizer use in casting. Beams were tested under two-point loading system in UTM Machine after curing period of 28 days. Test result shows that beams with more no of layers exhibits greater flexural strength and less deflection. There are increase in load carrying capacity, ductility and reduces the weight of beam
