A MEASURE AGAINST POLLUTION WASTE SORTING IN NORTH CYPRUS: OPINIONS OF MUNICIPAL AUTHORITIES ON THIS ISSUE
North Cyprus is a territory on the third largest ranking mediterranean island, it occupies about 3,241 square kilometers with a total population of about 326,000 people. This study investigates the attitudes and behaviors of municipal waste workers in regards to waste separation and sorting practices in North Cyprus. The study carried out a survey among the municipal SWM workers to evaluate their knowledge in waste separation, their perceptions of the municipality’s processes of SWM, their perceptions on the importance of waste separation in North Cyprus, as well as get their feedback on ways and methods to improve waste separation practices in North Cyprus. Findings on the survey study have indicated poor and inadequate practices of waste separation in North Cyprus that need development and restructuring. The study also found out that the SWM practices on North Cyprus are inadequate as perceived by the municipal workers, and have suggested improvement of the facilities and amenities of SWM in the municipalities. Opinions of respondents also suggest more needs to be done in raising awareness in both SWM municipality workers, and the general public to ensure waste separation practices are adopted in efforts of SWM which they all agreed is important for the country
Health Monitoring with Alcohol Detection and Control System Based On IoT
Accidents caused due to drunken drive are increasing tremendously in this modern world. To prevent these kinds of accidents, we propose an IoT based health monitoring system with alcohol detection and control. The proposed project is designed to reduce accidents caused due to drunken driving. Globally the cases of accidents are increasing due to this aspect. In order to prevent these accident cases, in this project an IoT based method has been designed. In that Arduino, Alcohol Sensor, Heart beat rate sensor, Global System for Mobile communication, Wi-Fi modem, are utilized. Once the alcohol rate and heart beat rate are exceeding the specified limit, the command will be given to the ignition system of the vehicle to stop the operation of the vehicle
CLINICAL AND LABORATORY INDICATORS IN CHILDREN WITH URILOSTICAL DISEASE
A study was conducted of changes in biochemical parameters in urolithiasis with different types of stone localization and clinical picture. All patients underwent an outpatient examination: a general clinical examination, including a general urine test; biochemical; hematological. The article presents the results of studies of inpatients diagnosed with urolithiasis. These studies are relevant due to the need for constant monitoring of prescribed laboratory tests by clinicians when managing these patients. This allows you to increase the level of competence of specialists in the field of laboratory services and for urologists, improves the rationality of prescribing laboratory tests for various nosologies and work with “Standards of diagnosis and treatment”. It turned out that laboratory test orders for urolithiasis do not always correspond to the standard of medical care
ANALYSIS OF MATHEMATICAL MODELS USED IN METALWORKING ADAPTIVE CONTROL SYSTEMS
Control algorithms are based on the use of a mathematical model of the control object. The control system, using one of the search algorithms, determines the best control action first on the mathematical model, and then applies the found optimal (in this situation) values of control actions directly on the control objectTo build a mathematical model of the machining process, it is necessary to analytically set a system of technical restrictions for the search area for optimal cutting conditions and express the dependence of the optimality criterion on the elements of cutting conditions. The measured parameters characterizing the cutting process, as a rule, are cutting force, vibration, temperature in the cutting zone, torque Mcr on the spindle, drive power of the main engine, etc.Such a customizable model can be used not only for control purposes, but also, for example, in diagnostic tasks, acting as a sensor of parametric disturbances and informing about the parameters going beyond safe limits. At the same time, the use of a customizable model in the control loop also leads directly to an increase in the reliability of the system in relation to less flexible controllers with fixed parameters. Thus, the solution of problems of building control systems is closely related to the development of algorithms for adapting the model in real time, the use and study of the speed and noise immunity of such algorithms
Vehicle Parking Management System
With the rapid growth of urbanization and the increasing number of vehicles on the roads, efficient management of vehicle parking has become a critical challenge in many cities. Inefficient parking systems result in various problems, including congestion, environmental pollution, and frustrated drivers. To address these issues, a robust and intelligent Vehicle Parking Management System (VPMS) is proposed
Smart Alert System for Drowsy Driver Detection System using AI
Drowsy driving is a significant cause of road accidents worldwide, posing a serious threat to driver safety and public well-being. To address this issue, this paper introduces an AI-based smart alert system designed to detect drowsy drivers and provide timely warnings to prevent potential accidents. The proposed system utilizes advanced machine learning techniques to analyze driver behavior, facial expressions, and physiological signals to accurately identify signs of drowsiness. By leveraging real-time data processing and intelligent algorithms, the system can promptly detect drowsiness indicators and activate appropriate alerts, ensuring driver attentiveness and mitigating potential risks. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness and reliability of the proposed AI-based smart alert system in enhancing road safety and reducing the occurrence of accidents due to drowsy drivin

“DESIGN AND TOPOLOGICAL OPTIMIZATION OF AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE PISTON”
This project focuses on the stress distribution of the piston four stroke engines by using FEM. The main objective is to investigate and analyze the stress and maximum or minimum principal stresses distribution on engine piston at the real engine condition during combustion process. In this project, the wok is carried out to measure the stress on the top surface of the piston. In I.C. Engine piston is most complex and important part therefore for smooth running of vehicle piston should be in proper working condition. Pistons fail mainly due to mechanical stresses and thermal stresses. Analysis of piston is done with boundary conditions, which includes pressure on piston head during working condition the stress concentration on the piston head are reduces by optimization with using computer aided design; Solid work software the structural model of a piston will be developed. Furthermore, the FEM analysis is done using ANSYS workbench 21. A piston of 4 wheeler was analyzed and optimized for weight reduction in this study. The project describes the optimization techniques with using finite element analysis technique (FEM) to predict the higher stress and critical region on that component
